Worn these Zara black leather boots on a few shopping trips And tried on some beauties! And (from another thread) still not had anyone other than a sales assistant comment on my boots or heels I have the disadvantage of having the EU46 size. I'd like to wear nice pieces like you wear. 1
Mr. X Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 Here are my latest. I paid less than $20 for these secondhand. They are a burgundy/wine color with gold accents. The brand is Attitude Jay Manuel. They are perfect for fall. Now I just have to figure out what I will wear them with? 3

I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
pebblesf Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 Loving those black booties and the nice tight jeans...

jeremy1986 Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 @redandwhite - love those booties you have. @Mr. X - very cute booties too! looking forward to seeing more of them all!
HeeledSlides Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 (edited) Since a long time I had these on my wishing list: a pair of Shabbies ankle boots from Fred de la Bretoniere. It sounds French, but in fact it's a Dutch brand. Hhplace members from the Netherlands will for sure know it. Shabbies are quite expensive but this pair was a great deal ! So I'm very happy (-: They are classy in their simplicity, which is what I like about them. I'll keep my eyes open for a pair of Shabbies in another colour, or the knee high version. spikesmike Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Hello Heelers : The above post just goes to prove how stupid I am when it comes to computers. I do not remember trying to send comments to YoYo. This came up when I started to send a new reply. crotchhiboots : Love your new JiaLuoWei crotch high boots. Question : Will you be wearing these out in public ? Can you even stand in these boots ? I own a pair of ballets. I can stand but I can not walk in them. I sent my greatest respect to you for any effort. I am lucky to get around in these. spikesmike 3
maninboots Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 My latest purchase from new look, hope you like them 6
HeeledSteve Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Not recently I'm currently looking for some with a lace up fastening. Addicted to the click
Bubba136 Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Really eye catching! Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
jeremy1986 Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 @maninboots, the new boots look great - and that snake skin tone goes great with the jeans you have on there. Enjoy!
p1ng74 Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 (edited) I went back to Dillard’s tonight and found the salesman that complimented my boots last week. We chit chatted a little about them, and when he asked if I was interested in anything I pointed to tall pull on boots! Long story short, I walked out with some Antonio Melani boots with 4” heels and 19” shafts. They are so comfortable that I plan to wear them regularly into the office. I do want to work my way up to wearing 4” heels on a trip next week. This is going to involve a lot of walking across parking lots and airports, so I will need to get in shape. I put them on early this morning, headed to the supermarket, and walked around to see where we are at. I have had the recent experience of wearing 3” for the first time, but 4” is another different feeling. Strides are even shorter, and now I can feel new stretching at the ankles. It feels good to do some stretches between the walks and it seems each walk is getting less strange. Edited October 31, 2018 by p1ng74 Add photo 12
crotchhiguy Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 good looking boots there, they look very similar to a pair of Nine West pull on tall shafts right at the kneecap boots that I bought years ago. 3
pebblesf Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Nobody is going to get much work done if you wear those killer boots to the office! 1 1

I’ve been looking for a pair like this but in brown... were they on sale? I went to Dillard’s website, too pricey for me lol

I went to Dillard’s website, too pricey for me lol They are the “Calmma” boots and unfortunately does not seem to be available in brown. They are selling at full price down here, which is fair as it is just the beginning of boot season. They are made in China, but they are full leather and the materials look and feel good. The leather is thin but soft, which seems to be the “slouch” style. I don’t mind paying a little for boots that I will wear often and last a while, and we will see how these hold up. The heel cap feels a bit plasticky, but I’ll get it switched out if and when the cap wears down. 2
