The boot is too long so my leg looks a bit short. Returned the shoe and looking for another knee high boot.

Boots look pretty good to me.  I would have kept them too.  I have some that I can only wear with a 12” miniskirt,,,,,, and I do when I go out !!!!!!!!

Those boots look a perfect length to me and probably have the opposite effect of elongating your legs, if i could find some jeans skinny enough I’d wear them out but would have to be super skinny jeans as i don’t really do skirts

They look really nice to be honest mate and give your feet a really good profile, as my title suggests i prefer boots to shoes but would wear a boot with that heel and platform and i do like M&S, I’m guessing you’re a uk heeler like myself

As distinct from 'partially kept them'?   I suppose you could compromise by just keeping one boot. :-?

As the others have said - they look perfect on you, if you ask me. Buy them back!! ;-)

These are very similar to mine - in fact mine might be a little taller even. Though I kinda agree with you - unless I'm wearing little short or a skirt, the thigh-high effect is basically lost. Still need to show them off! I only realized after buying mine how much taller "thigh high" boots are, over OTK boots.

You also have a great figure, if I may say so. perfect for thigh highs like these.

Even though I freely admit that I do not understand the concept of thigh high boots outside of activities like trout fishing, I rather thought the above boots were supposed to look like that! I don't see a thing wrong with them.

I am probably odd here but for me the primary appeal of tall boots is the feeling of the leather on my legs, and it does not matter as much to me that I broadcast exactly how tall they are.  I like keeping people guessing or surprising them when it comes up.

Here are a few new boots I found recently.

The first I wear everyday to work. Second pair is an old pair of wedges I wanted to have your comment with these slim jeans. 3rd pair (thinnest heel) are the ones I used to run my errands and grocery shopping. I tried to enhance the pictures but they are extracted from videos.

#2 and #3 are a nice look - I think I actually prefer #2 -the most natural look of them all

I’m new here. I’ve got to improve the lighting to improve my pictures, but here is a picture of me in my 4-3/4 platform Oxford heels under some GAP flair slacks (womens).

Picture and style advice welcome

How are the pockets on those slacks?  I find the pockets in almost all women’s slacks to be too small for even a phone.  Obviously most women have handbags for such things.  But I like the silhouette of those slacks, so now I’m curious.

Can't really make out the shoes, pants need to be shorter. People will know you're in heels since your toes are nearly impossible to see then they may wonder "why is he hidding"? I used to do the same, only to shred the backs of many pants. Own the heels, life is too short not to.

Would like to see the shoes though.

The slacks have small front pockets that are sown shut - holds a key. Today was cold so when I went into the mall to Buckle to pick up new jeans, I put my wallet and phone and keys into my light jacket. I have a couple over shoulder purses that could be “murses”  as they are not very feminine.  I likes thes gap flares - fairly wide bottoms. Here are pics of these shoes.  One on the clutch pedal of my Porsche.

I wore these shoes for several errands yesterday started at the P.O., then to Lens Crafter's for glasses fitting, then to subway sandwich shop. Old pair of Shoe Republic LA.

This is what I wore to pick up my kids from daycare. Our oldest(2.5) loves the colour pink. He enjoys it when I wear these pumps.

How to spot the Canadian: Wears short sleeves and no socks during Polar Vortex event.

My style is a little more fitted, but it's basically the same idea. Glad to see more normal looking guys doing normal activities in heels. We need all we can get!

Pants : could be more fitted. Color nice.

Sweat vest : too casual for these smart shoes ?

I wish I can wear more fitted clothing. My wife keeps telling me I have a small butt(size 36 pants) and my tops are 2x.  Guess I might have slow down on the drinking(Pepsi)

Its only a little chilly.  Socks and pumps? Thought that was a no no.

Just bought my first pair of skinny pants ever. Brand is Van Heusen. It will take a little to get use to it, but I like’em.

I approve! I don't think they are truly "skinny" pants, but they are flattering for sure. I like to call them "slim cut" pants. To me, "skinny" pants are skin-tight, and would not fall over your shoes like that, being tight to the ankle.
