Sad state of affairs

Is there anyone else out there that is disappointed they walk more/better in heels than their wife or partner?!

Haha. This. My wife has yet to see me really walk in a pair of decent height heels, but she swears I can't walk well in them. Wait until I prove her wrong this week!

My husband could never understand how I could walk in 2" heels, let alone 5", but they are not his thing.

My wife wears heels and walks in them well, but she sort of sticks to lower heels and wedges most of the time - 3 inch etc. I tend to go a bit higher when i wear heels. She has said to me a few times " How can walk so fast in those? "

I'm the solo wearer in our house but I wear stilettos often when we're out together and sometimes when I'm out on my own. I do tower over her when in my heels.

I still believe that guys with bigger feet have an advantage when walking in heels.  The longer the foot is, the less of an angle there will be on any particular heel size, making heel wearing easier.

Agree that a larger foot should give a wider base and be easier to wear, although manufacturers increase the size of heel along with foot size to maintain the proportions of the shoes/boots. 

 

My comment was more aimed at the fact that, over time, I've noticed I wear them more and she less (much less!!). And when she does, it's not for long.

 

I'm not after "porno" heels, I just think she should woman-up and strap on a pair (or zip up !)

Not in a million years. While I like to think I can do my heels justice, there is no way I can compete with my wife, or indeed a great many other ladies.The girls just look so darned hot in their heels.

Mind you, not one to give up, been out practicing today in my red pumps and skinny's.

Wife used too - 

Bunions run in her family, so now she can't find much of anything that doesn't hurt. She thinks I'm just crazy. It scares her to death that I may just go ahead and wear a pair of spike heeled shoes out in the local village. (I know better - it ain't happening.)

My wife hands down walks better in heels. Although she was surprised to see how good I could walk in them.

Don't see to many woman walking in pumps in casual settings. When i did see one pair of hotties one of which was wearing purplish pink suede pumps. While many people stared including myself i could tell she knew wearing them would get more attention in her skinny jeans. Wearing Pumps like your picture showed gets peoples eyes on you male or female no matter.  Although you look fine in them do believe females get a little perturbed seeing a guy in them, or any sort of feminine clothes, skinny jeans etc...

Just my experience when i attire woman's yoga activewear females get upset ultimately for the usual reasons envy, jealousy. Once you wear something well that belongs along the aisle of the women's section frustrations and anger sets in from the opposite sex. Rarely you will get complimented as i did in a Costco parking lot about my tan smooth legs in female denim cutoff short shorts. If i wore some sort of heel sandals the woman complimenting me would be a lot more animated about my appearance then saying you got great legs...

I am fairly confident that I walk better in heels than my wife. Actually, I just walk more gracefully than my wife in general. She walks funny anyway. Can't put my finger on just why.

I don't think I could ever walk in heels as well as my girlfriend but I do wear heels that are higher than she wears. That being said, she always wonders how I am able to walk in any of my 6 inch or higher heels!!!!!!!

It has less to do with envy and everything to do with the fact she had foot surgery in 2001 and has a toe shorter than the others so for aesthetic reasons she does not wear them. My arches are high and hers are not so I would have always been more adept at walking in them. There are guys who are simply better at walking in them and gender has nothing to do with it.

Following some feedback from the wife, I bought her some rather nice boots in blue leather. Heel about 85mm, so not too high, and I knew they were really comfy as I'd tried them on (although she has no idea!). The excuses start about being too high and she picks out some others, "those are the same height", I say. When she says "if you like them so much, you buy them and see how comfy they are!", I thought screw you and I did get them for me!

So a little follow up to this. Last Friday I took the time to put on some boots and walk around in them showing her I could manage a stiletto heel as long as it's 4" total or less. She was impressed but noted that it makes me walk with some hip sway. I laughed and said I was just doing that to flirt with her. Needless to say she was impressed.

As am I.   Not that you could walk in 4" stilettos, rather that you have a wife in front of whom you could show off your heeling prowess. If she knows about your posting here , tell her at least one guy was impressed.
