Bố is the Vietnamese word for Dad (at least in north Vietnam). My Vietnamese has fallen off a cliff, but sometimes I read things a little differently than others because of my life experience. Shyheels
Both are quite nice. I’m a fan of chunky heeled ankle boots.

MartaGanz
Hello. It is no longer on the web. I bought them, new, but on an european second-hand site. They have a square toe, so I change the typical cowboy toe. They caught my attention.
Shyheels
I’m more of an almond toe fan myself, but I like the styling of these.
Pierre1961
Yes! Would be perfect with almond shape toe box. But they nevertheless look great.
MartaGanz
I don't deny it: I have to stop. I should buy mules or heeled sandals (for a wedding, at least I have the dress), but I just bought another pair of boots (brown, second life) and I am refinishing them. Despite not having a very high heel (7,7 cm), I love the shape and proportion. I leave you an image.
Shyheels
Like you, I am a boots fan. I especially like chunky heels too. Shape and proportion of heels is what really makes the look in my opinion, much more so than height. Those are nice boots

If the sole would be a little thicker, perfect for me. I'm not a big fan of zippers, but I wonder: one last dance? I shouldn't, I shouldn't...

I would buy a pair with a pointed toe.
Popular Post pebblesf
I found these ankle boots in the local thrift store today. I was there looking for some women's jeans that might fit tighter, found a pair but there is no dressing room so won't know how the fit until I get home. These boots were waiting for me though, I wish they had pointed toes but oh well. I do love the block heels, they fit perfectly (for once), and are super easy to walk in. They look like leather, but I don't think they are. That's OK, can't complain for $20. I will enjoy them in vegas this weekend, hopefully the women's levis will fit properly. Finally figured out how to convert men's waist sizes to women's, so I guess I wear women's size 11-12 jeans. The last picture is of me waiting at the post office to inquire about a lost package, two of the postal workers complimented me, so I will consider this purchase a success.
pebblesf
I haven't had any new boots in awhile. I have been trying to replace those great nine west ankle boots I bought, but they must have been popular, can't find them anywhere. Finally decided on these nine west boots: Hiya Heeled Boots - Nine West The have nice pointed toes and a sturdy conventional block heel, found them in my size so they should fit nicely. $100 seems reasonable for leather boots, even though they are final sale/not returnable. I looked at the "brixe boots", but didn't like the squared off heels. I have resisted the urge to break out my second pair of Sam Edelman stiletto boots that I bought, don't want to wreck them . I also made a few offers on some Sam Edelman ankle boots, will see if that is accepted. 59 minutes ago, pebblesf said: I haven't had any new boots in awhile. Shyheels
I had thought they were ankle boots at first - hadn’t realised they were knee boots until the last couple of images. Either way those are very nice boots! I like those!

Shyheels
I always wear knee and OTK boots over my jeans. I like the look and it’s also far easier than trying to tuck them under the jeans and almost impossible to do with OTK boots
