yoyo Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 for those interested, the first thigh boots i have bought on the bay are -40 % (in all colors) price less. aivable up to size uk 12 ! so, for the big size, it can be a cheap opportunity. So, ok, ist not same quality as an italian made, but for 45 £, you can have a a tigh boots in big size ! so , I ask myself if I would have to buy me another pair or not (in case ...)
pebblesf Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Those boots are amazing and fit perfectly!
5.5InchHeels Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Dear All. It has been a long time since I've posted here. I've taken some photos with my most stylish boots, Calvin Klein Suede Knee High Boots. I've taken these photos with them inside my Black Denim Trousers. See below the results: http://hhplace.org/gallery/image/3956-calvin-klein-suede-knee-high-boots-04/http://hhplace.org/gallery/image/3955-calvin-klein-suede-knee-high-boots-03/http://hhplace.org/gallery/image/3954-calvin-klein-suede-knee-high-boots-02/http://hhplace.org/gallery/image/3953-calvin-klein-suede-knee-high-boots-01/
Jimnj3 Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I like them! They look great and are something I too would wear!
Thighbootguy Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 They look great! Seems like a shame to hide them under jeans. Have you tried them over the jeans? I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.

SleekHeels Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Dear All. It has been a long time since I've posted here. I've taken some photos with my most stylish boots, Calvin Klein Suede Knee High Boots. I've taken these photos with them inside my Black Denim Trousers. See below the results: If I'm not mistaken those are the "Mareesa" boots http://www.amazon.com/Calvin-Klein-Womens-Mareesa-Black/dp/B0052BQKE2 Sure they do look stylish under your trousers, but they'd also look pretty good if the whole boot was on display (black leggings or maybe grey for some subtle contrast with the black suede boots). One of the reviews on Amazon mentioned calf size, but how do you find the fit of the boots? You certainly look like you're comfortable wearing them. If you like it, wear it.
5.5InchHeels Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Yes, these are Mareesa boots. Very classy, in my opinion. The problem was the calf size. I cannot close the boots if I put them over the leggings. So, as I can only use them under the leggings.
SleekHeels Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I have a pair of ankle boots which I can only wear with sheer tights, anything thicker and the small zips on the instep just won't zip up. With your tall boots I wonder if you could wear cropped leggings that are only just long enough to tuck into the top of your boots? I also can't help wondering if boots like yours with a rear zip allow for some repair/modification possibilities to slightly relax or tighten the fit around the calf as required? I'm thinking that a side-zipping style might not be so easy to modify because that would shift any front and back seams around the boot shaft, which might look a bit weird, but a rear-zip style could avoid that perhaps? If you like it, wear it.

heels59 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Up until 3 or 4 years ago Heels were a closet fetish for me, so I went for the highest sexiest spikes I could get. Now I'm into wearing more androgynous women's shoes openly. Before, I avoided the Easy Spirit store because they didn't carry the sexy stilettos I wanted. I called them the "old lady shoes" store. Now I find that they have a good selection of shoes that I can wear openly, and plenty in size 12. Today I picked up a pair of Cooper block heeled booties in brown for $30. I'm trying Heels2u's trick of filling the heels to make them quieter. I generally like the "thuck" sound of heels on a hard floor, but theses are pretty high and I really don't want to draw too much attention at this point. They are roomy and reasonably comfy for a chinese made plastic shoe. I wore them to a customer's site today and probably will again tomorrow. Steve63130 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Heels59, It's great to wear androgynous heels like that outside in public without drawing undue attention to the fact you've got women's shoes on, isn't it? Those are heels I would definitely wear, everywhere. They're a good find. I have not been on Easy Spirit's web site in quite a while but I will definitely spend some time there tonight! Thanks for the helpful post! Steve

I bought a previous model at Koh'ls, and they are very comfortable although I haven't been out too much in them recently. I'm hopefully going to be able to check out both of the ones you mentioned if the "limited availability" listings are good.
geot Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 I bought a pair of slouchy "suede" (really microfiber) boots from Torrid. These aren't my usual towering stilettos but have a really comfortable 3.5" heel. They're a wide size 13, and are really comfortable even if the shaft is a but wider than I'd have liked, but they'll go over slim jeans without looking too tight.
dahool Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Yeah, cool boots. But I think that @9inchheel has got the best ones, which are in his avatar. I've never seen such ones in any store
jones4725 Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 My most recent purchase was a pair of Hennie boots from Nine West. They're very comfortable and I'm starting to get the leather broken in. Since I am size 12, I have had great luck with Nine West boots. I really like their options! http://www.hhplace.org/gallery/image/3998-nine-west-hennie/ (can't seem to post the image otherwise, but you can see my boots in the album in my gallery)

I've never seen such ones in any store Yeah, they're pretty awesome. I'm not done with skyscraper heels, but my ankles aren't getting any younger... I found the buckles on my new boots jingle slightly when I walk. Mrs. GeoT likes them so I'm happy and I can live with a little jingle in my life.
DProud2700 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I finally got a chance to go to the mall Sunday and found a pair of boots by Material Girl called Rozie that are over the knee and in my size and purchased them and had a chance to try them on last night. They were wonderful. I am also looking at a pair of over the knee low heel wedge boots next I hope.
Heelster Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I was out driving across the state and wanted to stop at an outlet mall that had a Nine West store. I made it just in time with 5 minutes before closing. The lady associate was more than happy to keep the doors open for me so I could look around a bit. Ended up buying a pair of tall boots for a fantastically low price. From the Vintage America collection. http://i.pgcdn.com/pi/102/96/83/1029683751_640.jpg For a better description http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/nine-west-throwdown-tall-boots?ID=725716 They had my size, and under $30.00 out the door. Every time I get to stop at this Nine West store, the sales associates are wonderful. On this specific evening, The young lady even locked the doors and stuck around for me to try on a few different items before I made my purchase.
Heelster Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Where was the store? SteveTanger Outlets - - Just south of you
Steve63130 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Ok, thanks. I haven't been there in ages. Glad you got a good bargain! Steve
saudade Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I'm on a wedge book kick (pun intentional) of late. Bought both of these wedge boots from latitude femme on sale over the past week. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/latitude-femme-covered-wedge-boot/3508252 http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/latitude-femme-wedge-ankle-boot/3508230 They're italian sizing, even so they are a bit on the big side. But awesome boots, I got the brown ones first and then the black ones went on sale, and well I have no shame or ability to resist getting more cool boots. Very walkable and fun.
