I have been waiting for a call from Funky Pair. Last week 09-28-2010 I called them looking for a pair of crotch high boot with a 6" covered high heel. They didn't have them, so I hung up. No one has them becouse they don't sell well. Exhosting all hope, I called back anyway. I ask the person on the other end of the line, if the supplyer doesn't have them, perhaps Funky Pair would have them back in stock. Operator would check and get back with me. No call. Today I call them again. Same operator. They have a pair of Thigh highs with all the other trappings I want. They are all leather w/ side zipper only, same 6" hgih heel and all for $129.95. No tax or shipping charge. So I buy them. Can't wate til they get here. Mike

I've just bought a pair of these. They arrived on Wednesday and they're gorgeous! I'm definitely loving almond toes at the moment, and have been wanting another pair of suede boots for a while. :)

Never tried suede before, but those look really nice.

I noticed many boots lovers are getting very nice boots lately.

Looks like the boots season is finally here... (Yes !)

Unfortunately, I don't like what is coming next: Winter :)

Are you talking boot fashion wise or weather wise there in Canada? :)

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

Thanks Mr X. I can definitely recommend suede, it feels so much softer and more feminine than leather does. My new boots are fully lined in pink leather, and I'll be giving them their own thread when I get around to taking some decent pics.

Yes they look very nice. The way the front of the shoe bends up adds a nice touch.

What size are they, and what it the heel height?

It is a size 41.

The heel is 13 cm and a hidden platform of 3 cm.

Bought these last week and felt good!

What do you think about them?

They are totally awesome. Where did you buy them? Are they available online and in what are the available sizes?

Hi,

I buy them from ZALANDO.DE

these are the overknees:

these are not so high

If you want to get a pair, you had to hurry up.

In the moment I bought my overknees every style and every size was available.

This was only 2 weeks ago.

Sort of a pre-announcement post, in case anyone else is looking into these, and wants to wait for a user review. I ordered these from Naturalizer. Looks pretty unisex (what I wanted). Website lists heel height at 2 3/4", but I'm hoping in a 12W (largest size it's available in), it might scale up to a more desireable 3 1/2".

Extra bonus was that I was able to stack two discounts, ending up with a 42% discount off the regular price.

I'll post a followup once I receive them and get a chance to try them on.

YES for fashion and NO for winter...:(

If you wear them in public, you will get many head turns for sure !

A nice find. You will be able to wear them without beeing noticed too much.

(Except for the heel noise of course...)

But you will get used to it and soon you will want to wear higher ones.

It is only a matter of time.

Happy heeling !

I got these boots yesterday from New Look in England. Heel height is about 4" and they have about a 1/2" hidden platform. They have laces, but also have a zip on the inside, which make putting them on easier. They are very comfortable and I think they will look good with jeans. I would have posted a photo of me in them but I don't have a long mirror.

I've had my eye on those as well, and I like the Glassy style also. I will be interested in hearing how they fit. I think that both styles would be a good choice for street heeling.

An update - little disappointed that 5 days later (at least 3 'business' days), order status still shows as processing, meaning it hasn't shipped yet. I'm sure I'm a little impatient, but I would have thought now a days, orders from most internet companies would ship more quickly than this. Maybe it's taking them a little longer to track down those 12W's

I love those boots, would love to know how much the currency exchange would be from british pound notes to U.S. dollars?

$250 w/ free shipping. Here's a link to them on their US website: http://us.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=40&viewAllFlag=false&catalogId=33060&storeId=13052&categoryId=210022&parent_category_rn=208695&productId=1892308&langId=-1

Hi Bootlovers,

Here I am posting about a new knee boot purchase which is a rarity since I only have two others! I got these at Macy's in Milwaukee two weeks ago and wore them with my jeans up to my land in far northern Wisconsin. Mine are not velvet finish but leather and have a 5" heel in size 11. Put on your kneehighs and slip into these and feel great!!

http://www1.macys.com/catalog/index.ognc?CategoryID=25122&PageID=107900460777271&CURRENT_PAGE=18

Sorry, I wasn't ale to download a photo of them for some reason so I included the link. Boots are definitely cool and we are now entering boot season even though cold weather has been slow to arrive her in Wisconsin but we all know the longest season is knocking on the door.
