Who has bought some new shoes

Hi Steve63130. I wrote a review (see Super Sexy) on their site. I figured the more males that post reviews, the better. There have been at least 12 people who said my review was helpful. I've got to figure it was other guys, or maybe ladies who like the idea of guys in heels. Who know these days.

I submitted a review to Payless.com on the Molly platform sandal today and it should be up around Tuesday. And yes, I did state in the review that I'm a guy. Look for "FlashJB".

I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!

Mine arrived on Friday. In silver. This after I said, "I'm not going to buy any more heels that I won't feel comfortable wearing publicly." So either I have to wear them publicly, or I am a hypocrite. Sigh. Guess I'm going to go with publicly then.

While doing some online gift shopping I noticed these but my size wasn't available.

Went to complete my order today and noticed that now they are, in fact, available in size 13. I had a 25% off coupon code and it's free shipping over $30 so I decided the heck with it and ordered them. Pretty darn femme for me as that's really usually not my personal heel preference (I tend to wear classic office type pumps), and I'll probably never wear them out, but I figured they'd be fun for a night in with my girlfriend. :)

My first non-black pair of heels. I love them, think they look great and I've named them my 'Red Jezzabels' None of my other shoes have names. Yes, they are Pleasers and yes they have huge platforms. I find the Pleasers quite comfortable and Platforms are definitely my thing.

Very nice heels. They look very nice on you. I like red too, as I have a few pairs of red heels and boots. I do have a pair of red platform pumps, but your red patent color, I love.

Thanks for posting.

Hello again friends! Its been a while since my last post however these little beauties were waiting in the mail today and I couldn't wait to share them. Purchased at an absolute steal of a price on eBay, the very formal, feminine Sophia by Bourne. Beautifully simple cut with an almond toe box and upper of rich black satin, leather lining and sole. The heel is breathtaking featuring jewel detailing and manageable yet sexy 4.5" height. Overall an elegant shoe of great construction and an instant favorite of mine! Thanks for letting me share! I picked up this pair in the Next online sale, in a size UK 9 wide, for £12.

Unfortunately they seem to be just a little too small, so I may have to return them in a few days. I'll try them on a couple more times before I decide for sure.

Too bad the fit was off - I always liked the look and feel of multi-strap Mary-Jane styles. That looked like a winner.

Just a bit higher to to delight - low enough for healthy foot comfort and great beginning.

I LOVE the look of satin! Those are a pair I would consider for myself. No jackstands, quite classy. They look they have solid construction.

REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.

I agree fumikaheels. These are some classy shoes. Well done.

By no jackstands you mean no platforms? Love it, lol! Yes, I agree and its just personal preference and not knocking those styles, I'm just a single sole person. Thanks for your kind comment kicks, I only wish I could strut stilettos like you as part of my everyday dress. I can imagine you pairing these sparkling beauties with some skinny jeans on stage and looking awesome!

Thank you luvnheels for your encouraging input as well!

well I can fit into male size 9uk and also a 8. but for heels I think size 10uk is a bit to big for me. EU size for me is 42 or 43. tell me if I am right.

Hi guys I'm thinking about buying these shoes ( http://m.newlook.com...002&name=Womens ) on a week Thursday, any advice/tips about how to approach the clerks about buying them etc.

Thanks in advance, Reece! :-)

A girl in my class wears those almost every day, so I bet they're real comfortable!

I see on the site that you can order the shoes and have them delivered to your house. Why don't you do that? It's what I do.

I could walk on sunshine, but I chose heels instead.

New Look are self service so just pick them off the rack and try them on. If you can't find your size then a simple "Excuse me, do you have these in a size X please?" will be fine. Just be friendly and respectful, in my experience the sales assistants and other customers are pretty cool. Anyone who's in the heels section is there because they love heels.

If you like it, wear it.

I have brought shoes and boots in New Look. Just find your size, try them on if you can. Then go and pay for them. If you can't try them on in the shop you could try them at home and take them back if they don't fit (with the receipt)

inquisitor, that's a NICE collection! I don't like every single pair of them, but I would do a lot for the 3rd ones and that pair of wedge sneakers! Were they really that cheap?

Here is my latest purchase. The brand is ingersole. The heel measures around 4 1/2". They are made out of some rubber like material. They are super comfy to wear. They were purchased new in box from Value Village, for those that live in Canada. And the best part is they were only $15! Here is a couple pics.

We have stores in the US called Value Village, but I'm not sure we're talking about the same store. Not big on those types, but I like these.

Fioni Night Lolita sandals finally arrived from Payless.com. I wore them around the apartment for a couple hours, doing some cleaning and whatnot, to get a feel for them. These are going to take some time to get used to as it's been years since I've been in anything like this. I can tell these are going to be pretty gnarly on my outer toes until they soften up a bit. It'll be nice once it warms up and I can shed my ankle tan!

I don't know if I should mention these shoes here as I've already posted them in the hidden heels thread. I'll just do it anyways, since they're new shoes. A pair of wedge sneakers with well hidden heels. They look really masculine and I think they won't attract any attention at all. I was home alone for about half an hour, so I walked around my garden for some minutes, as I didn't want to be away when my parents would come home. I won't have them worry about my outdoor heeling, they might not yet be ready for it. Walking around for longer distances than inside of the house felt great, and I'm looking forward to the real heeling! See you all later!

I was out on a sales call this morning and in no rush to get back to the office. I saw a Payless and thought I'd stop in to try on the beige Kosmic platform pumps I want this spring. The manager was great. Here's roughly how it went.... Mgr: Good morning, can I help? Me: Just looking. Mgr: Is there anything in particular? Me: I'll know when I see it. (Trying to avoid saying that I was there to look at ladies heels) I always go to the men's aisle and it leads to the end of the ladies large sizes. Trying not to be too obvious. As I turn down the ladies aisle, she says. Mgr: We have lots of styles in wide widths and the platforms are very popular. She was a mind reader. I saw the pumps, asked if I could try them on, she said no problem, and walked away. I tried them on, walked around for several minutes and decided I would buy them, but not today. Mgr: How were they. Me: Great I'll be back. Here was my chance for a conversation. Me: Do you get many men buying women's shoes? Mgr: Yes. I work in 2 other stores and many men come in and buy. I could tell as soon as you went down the aisle that that was what you were here for. Those platforms are very comfortable and many men have bought them. Men who come in during the early morning are usually shopping for women's shoes. Me: Thank you, you have made this very comfortable and I appreciate it. Mgr: Come in any time. Off I went feeling very good and I will be back to buy those platform pumps. Inquisitor paid $11.00. They are On Sale in Canada for $39.00 plus 13% tax!!!

post-79-0-82891100-1364835705_thumb.jpgPicked these up from Lane Bryant the other day. First time shopping tehre for shoes. All their shoes come in wide width, and believe me, it is a very generous wide. I chose a size 11 wide and they are actually a bit loose on me, and I can't say I've ever had that experience before. I know they are not the highest of heels (about 3 3/4" in soze 11) but they are comfortable and walkable. And the in-store experience was good as well - the staff had no porblem at all with me try on shoes. Not for everyone, I know, but they do have a few other styles inlcuding one small platform with a higher heel.
