5150PLB1 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Awful thought on this. Santa Claus in fur trimmed short shorts, fishnet hose, black knee high stiletto boots, and don't forget the dark sunglasses.
Shyheels Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Pretty nasty. I prefer the traditional jolly Coca-Cola version myself...
Cali Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 (edited) You haven't lived until you have had a Hawaiian Christmas and seen I'm Dreaming of White Christmas performed in hula in beautiful Hana. mele kalikimaka Local schools Christmas Pageant for parents and a very few lucky visitors. Shyheels Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Or in Australia where it'll be a sweltering 40C on Christmas Day and Christmas cards show Santa's sleigh being pulled by flying kangaroos....
Cali Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Dolphins pulling santa through the waves on a surfboard.

Shyheels Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 But it sure gave Qantas a good idea for their logo!
Steve63130 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 But kangaroos don't like to fly Qantas. It makes them jumpy. LOL Steve 1 1 2
Rockpup Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 I thought their logo was a drop bear. (formerly known as "JimC")
Shyheels Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 I have actually flown on Emu Airlines - an airline named for a flightless bird.
HappyinHeels Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 I am a flightless bird since I have no wings. I have sat in planes for many hours while looking at wings and later wondered how I went this great distance. Maybe it was the liquor or maybe I wound up in a Delorean going 88 mph. The joys of time travel! HappyinHeels
Shyheels Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 I too have sat for many hours in planes that proved to be flightless.... 1
Rockpup Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Wedge's would have been more practical, just saying.... http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/uk/high-heel-hiker-walking-on-air-after-ben-nevis-expedition-35899943.html (formerly known as "JimC")
Jkrenzer Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Honestly surprised you didn't hurt his knees. I once spent an outdoor Weekend concert in heels and my knees hurt for weeks afterwards due to the soft ground in the heels not really placed well, always twisting in odd ways on rain soaked soft ground. People did love my spiked heels though.
Shyheels Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 (edited) The silly man was damned lucky he didn’t twist or break an ankle and have to get carried down the mountain - at much expense and great annoyance to those who would have had to do the rescuing Edited October 31, 2017 by Shyheels
Steve63130 Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 If he fell off the trail and died, he'd certainly win the coveted Darwin Award. Steve
Shyheels Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 (edited) Indeed. There ought to be some kind of award for effort. The foolishness was certainly there Edited November 1, 2017 by Shyheels
kneehighs Posted November 12, 2017 Author Posted November 12, 2017 Interesting video from Vogue https://www.vogue.com/article/5-times-pharrell-borrowed-from-girls?mbid=social_facebook Doesn't include heels. Interesting how Vogue US has a pattern of supporting men wearing women's clothes though. Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game.
Heelster Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Interesting. To bad most men don't support it. Then again, most men I know have no fashion beyond Camo. 1
Gudulitooo Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 A new initiative, as a crowd funded project I suppose. Nicely put I find https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIK1Rzt_nL8 https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cross-sword/cross-sword-hand-crafted-luxury-high-heels-for-men?lang=fr 3

Nice to see people financially speculating on heels for men. I sincerely wish him the best. The videos were really well done, imho. Sad but not surprised to see such little market demand for heels for men. Doesn't look like they will meet their fundraising goal by November 28th. Puffer Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 I don't think either the style of shoe produced by Cross Sword or the price will appeal to many men. Taking a boring brogue and adding a modest tapered heel with a novelty logo insert at the back seems a weird match to me and ends up looking like neither fish nor fowl. OK, some wealthy and adventurous men might be tempted but not enough to make the project viable. The 'George' boot from Syro is surely a more realistic step in the right direction (no pun intended), and somewhat more affordable: 4

Nonetheless, I applaud the fellow for having the courage to take on such a risky style venture for sure! I do hope he finds some success, then can venture out to some different (better looking) styles.... 1
SF Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 The Cross Sword shoes looked nice, but they sure are expensive. I wonder if they have plans to market in the United States.. sf "Why should girls have all the fun!!"
