tightlevisandhhboots
I just got these custom made boots made. They are a 4 1/8 inch heel and the base of the heel is roughly 2 1/8 by 2 inch. They are very comfortable, and very unique. I would appreciate any comments, and I can take some more close-ups if any one is interested. It took the maker in Mexico about 2 months to make, and all from just e-mails and jpgs of parts of other boots. http://www.hhplace.org/album.php?albumid=142&pictureid=2574 http://www.hhplace.org/album.php?albumid=142&pictureid=2578 http://www.hhplace.org/album.php?albumid=142&pictureid=2577 http://www.hhplace.org/album.php?albumid=142&pictureid=2579 http://www.hhplace.org/album.php?albumid=142&pictureid=2573 http://www.hhplace.org/album.php?albumid=142&pictureid=2567 http://www.hhplace.org/album.php?albumid=142&pictureid=2568 Thanks Tightlevisandhhboots
Iamme
I fell in love with this pair of heels the moment I saw them. I should get them in the mail somewhere in the upcoming next 2-3 weeks! http://www.endless.com/Funtasma-Pleaser-Womens-Gangster-15-Platform/dp/B002LCEN26 I really love the unique look of those heels. Then again, I've always loved the 'alternate' look. Normal heels won't cut if for me- I need to have unique and special ones. Even if that means they'll draw attention if I'm ever going to wear them in public.

Tosca
Hi all, I bought these from Pricesless last Friday. Already worn them for work (with a new skirt from M&S) last Sunday. Really comfortable, UK11, almost 4 inch heel but realy easy to walk in and wear. And ONLY £20.00! http://www.pricelessshoes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product1_11051_-1_115104_11051 Pity about this icy weather. I wanted to wear them today, for the last day at work, and then hit the pub this afternoon, but it's just too risky on these pavements in heels. Tosca
Hi, I'm going to get into town early tomorrow, avoid the bound-to-be-awful crowds, and buy these: http://www.pricelessshoes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product1_11051_-1_127071_11051 I really like the square too (can't bear pointy toes), and they come in a round toe version too: http://www.pricelessshoes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product1_11051_-1_119557_11051 Crazy prices, too good to miss. Looks like, from the reviews, these have been appealing to guys (anyone here?) like me/us, and I can't wait to wear them to work in the New Year. Speaking of square toe platform heels, I been eyeing these from Next for a while, but they only go up to 43, which even in their wide-fit I find too small. Such a shame, I love the colours! How I wish Next would raise their sizes to 44. And ONLY £20.00! http://www.pricelessshoes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product1_11051_-1_115104_11051 Interesting, Tosca. I saw these advertised and doubted the claimed heel height of 12cm – your clarification is therefore helpful. What size do you normally wear, please? Do your 11s run true to size in length and width? These boots are also available up to size 11 from Priceless and its sister companies: http://www.bigshoeboutique.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=14051&catalogId=14052&productId=114119&langId=-1 The reviews on BSB include this interesting one from a bloke with size 12 feet: My first boots and they fit perfectly "Bought these for a fancy dress do, not fully expecting them to fit (am 6' tall and big, with size 12 feet) but they fit perfectly, can even get my jeans inside them. Still looking for an excuse to wear them out, but the missus seems happy for me to wear them about the house, although they take a bit of getting used to!" Anyone interested in these or other products from Priceless/Barratts/BSB is recommended to look at all the sites as price/availability does seem to vary between them, as do any discounts (online shopping only) or free delivery options. These codes appear to be current: 1. Barratts: The code WINTERDISCB entitles you to 10% off your order including reduced items (and also free delivery, I think). Valid until 31st January 2010. Free Delivery on web orders over £50, Voucher Code DELAWB Expires on: 31/12/2013 2. BSB: 10% discount with code WINTERDISCBSB until 31.1.10 Free Delivery on orders over £40, Voucher Code DELAWS or MOV4B Expires on: 31/12/2013 3. Priceless: 10% discount with code WINTERDISCP until 31.1.10 Free Delivery on Orders Over £30, Voucher Code DELAWP or FREEDLP Expires on: 31/12/2013 Happy shopping and season’s greetings to all! tightlevisandhhboots
Darn Nice Pair of Boots You Got There. Does the maker have a web site that you can refer us to? See this Thread about this boot maker on e-bay. http://www.hhplace.org/guys/14888-new_high_heel_cowboy_boot_maker.html I really like my latest pair, though the black patent came out a true patent, vice the more of a high glose leather like the toe, so If I were to do it again, ia would ask for "shiney leather" vice "patent". But he did them basically just like I aske hime to, other than the heel coming out just a little shorter than I had hoped. TLAHHB

heelguy
i haven't bought them yet, but i fell in love with the hottest heels ive seen in a while, they were rather tall too.. electric blue in colour, small open toe, 1/2cm platform with i'd say atleast a 6inch heel, cut straight and flat towards the inner of the shoe and moulded to the shape of the curve of the rear of the shoe towards the back (if that makes ANY sense at all :S) only thing is they were $140 :/ but i will get them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i must!!!!!!! It took the maker in Mexico about 2 months to make, and all from just e-mails and jpgs of parts of other boots. Although i'm not a fan of cowboy style, i like these a lot. jwhite44
I just bought a pair of the Skye platform ankle boots in brown from Avenue.com for $25 on sale - couldn't pass 'em up, and they'll look great with my jeans! SCORE! Lucky you! I tried about 8 stores in my area trying to find a pair in my size (13), but no luck. A few weeks too late I'm afraid. I'm sure the 30%, then 40% off everything sales didn't help to keep them in stock. I've never worn a pair of high boots (have a few pair of ankle boots), and figure between that and the 4" heel (most other Avenue shoes seem to top out at 3"), it was a perfect pair to try. Maybe next year! (guessing they're clearing out the winter shoes & boots). ps - I think they're actually the "Star Platform Boot"

Dawn HH
I liked the round toe platforms better than the squared off ones.
