Shafted
New theater trip. This picture is from the theater. Nice outfit pumps. It would also look great with slacks instead of jeans. JeffB
New theater trip. This picture is from the theater. Nice pic there. Casual but stylish. Good job, my friend! A question, was that a clutch bag you were holding? I'm curious to know about that. I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman! HappyFeat
Pumps, what a great outfit! The jacket fits you perfectly and I love the hosiery and the modest heel pumps. Great freestyle look. Style is built from the ground up!

Upon further review, you might be right. Time to have my eyes checked. Still, HappyFeat is dead on right, a clutch would've been perfect for that outfit. Makes me wanna go and buy one for myself! JeffB
I agree about a clutch but it is so small ! You can't fit too much stuff in it ! True, but I'm sure that if you look hard enough, you can find a large clutch that can successfully carry much of what you want to carry around with you on an outing. HappyFeat
With the right clutch, it really isn't about what you can fit into it as much as it is about the fashion statement. Besides, unless it is tiny, you can get keys, cell phone, ID, maybe a credit card and some cash...what more do you really need for the theater? Style is built from the ground up! I own a few shoulder bags and I wear them without any problem. I think they look kind of "unisex". But I'm not sure about a clutch. Maybe too "girly" looking ? Now after reading your post, you make me wonder if I could find one that I would like... Even if I do, I don't think I have any outfit that would go with a clutch Update: Maybe I would consider this clutch ?

Even if I do, I don't think I have any outfit that would go with a clutch Well, speaking as someone who regularly wears skirts in public, the dead last thing I worry about is looking "girly". As for your little problem, just build an outfit around a clutch, say a dressy blazer and slacks with a pair of heels. See? That wasn't too hard! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!

Gudulitooo
Sure, if you want everybody to take the piss out of you AND have to carry something that doesnt hold anything useful! I agree with HappyFeat I usually take everything I need (and no more) in my pockets to go out. A clutch would be larger than what I need.
Shafted
I do have a small cosmetics bag that I use as a clutch, but only if I'm not wearing a coat or jacket with the outfit. I only use pants pocket for small items like keys. I really dislike carrying a wallet in my pants pocket and usually keep in an interior coat pocket. I too take only what I need. Steve63130
With a shoulder bag I have both arms free; with a clutch, I'd have to clutch it. No thanks. A clutch is for klutzes. I like a shoulder bag, so I can stuff everything including the kitchen sink in it, although the weight sometimes drains me. I hate stuff in my pants pockets. It make me look fatter and it's uncomfortable. Besides, women's jeans have smaller pockets. Steve

hhboots
Lots of talk about a clutch, handbag, shoulderbag, etc, in the last two pages. As much as I love many of the fashion choices women have and quite often more than 50% of the outfit I am wearing at any given moment would be considered feminine. I am not sure I would ever find the desire or need for clutch or shoulder bag. That's just carrying things a bit too far for me. Even if what I am wearing has no pockets or tiny inadequate pockets that will not carry anything, I would find a way to carry what I need by using a jacket, or I would carry as little as possible and find a way to make it work. Otherwise, I just don't ever see why I would ever in my life want carry a clutch or purse. I guess to each his own.

LiveAndLearn
I have a clutch bag. It's black suede just like my ankle boots. And I wore them on and outing before. There was no such "piss taking", and it was very obvious that I had it. And I could fit a lot into it! Link to bag! I got it from River Island, and it cost me around £15. It is very cute and I love it, only downside is I use it for nights out, and when drinks are being split by girls who have one drink and can't handle thier heels, it can be a problem! I have to say im a bit shocked at some of the suttle judgement that is comming off from some of these posts, with the whole "I guess thats okay but I mean why would you want to femanise yourself?" kind of thing. ilikekicks
Those red boots just SCREAM! I should get a pair of those instead of being my subtle self. REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.

Those red boots look great over jeans. I have a pair of the same color red, but they have a 3" block heel. I have worn them under, dark denim jeans a couple times out heeling and also with red jeans, they are saying to the public " look at my boots ". I have received only positive comments when wearing my bright red boots! Happy Heeling, bluejay

StockingTop
Yeah, but those headphones He wore were really goofy looking. No style at all. Bet they sound way better than any of those in-ear types most folk use. Look like a decent pair of Sennheisers or something of similar quality.
