saudade Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Ugly shoes! http://www.theguardian.com/fashion/2014/mar/16/ugly-shoes-stomp-competition-must-have-footwear
JeffB Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Not a fan. URGH! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
ilikekicks Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Those ' things ' make Jackstands look great! REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
Heelster Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Those ' things ' make Jackstands look great!Coming from you - - that says something. I do believe those fall into a catagory known as "" fugly ""!
5150PLB1 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Crocs and Birkenstocks just got some competition in the ugly department.
SF Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 A mi no likeee.... "Why should girls have all the fun!!"
jetheelsfan Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 ...little news on Low Street.... sad excuse for fashon --- flip/flops with extra straps. Amazing what some will buy into as "fashionable footware." Just a bit higher to to delight - low enough for healthy foot comfort and great beginning.
Shafted Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 The designer will be laughing at those that actually buy these, all the way to the bank. Shafted, the boots that is! Bubba136 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) Some people go for comfort over fashion. I would think thes sandals would be at the top of the "comfort/functional list. Edited March 17, 2014 by Bubba136 Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
JeffB Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Some people go for comfort over fashion. I would think thes sandals would be at the top of the "comfort/functional list. Which is exactly what keeps women buying Uggs and Crocs. Those horrors will zoom right to the top of that short list I suspect. I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
hoverfly Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 This trend is going to be flat. Hello, my name is Hoverfly. I’m a high heel addict…. Weeeeeeeeeee! 👠1998 to 2022!
bluejay Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Which is exactly what keeps women buying Uggs and Crocs. Those horrors will zoom right to the top of that short list I suspect.JeffB, Don't put all UGGS shoes and boots in the ugly category. Last summer and fall I bought UGGS, "Tawnie" wedge heel sandals. I liked them so much that I bought every color available. They are fantastic looking wedge heel sandals. UGGS, make a lot of stylish looking shoes and boots, but they are pricey, unless you get them on sale. Go to the WalkingCompany.com and look at the many great looking UGG, shoes and boots, on that site. Happy Heeling, bluejay
LovesHiHeels Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Uggs and Crocs have a place in the market and so have flat sandals. Now if your after a comfortable shoe which you can wear all day you still can and still be fashionable but there is no need to buy ugly shoes. Now as for the first photo, that is an ugly shoe. A comfortable shoe does not need to be ugly.
chrisinkilts Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Crocs does make some heels and wedges, probably not high enough for the crowd here, but they look pretty nice. http://www.crocs.com/womens-heels-and-wedges/women-footwear-heelsWedges,default,sc.html
CassieJ Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. Cassie - http://www.fetishforhighheels.com
hh_pe Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 In an attempt to put a positive spin on the style, at least you will be able to show off your painted toe nails....... OK, now back to reality, they are ugly. I wouldn't let my daughters wear those.
