I like the thread idea, think I'll add to it as well.

Helen looks good, really like blue on blue, but surprised she's wearing platforms. Thought for reason she was a single sole lady.

All of my early heel adventures involved jeans or slacks of one sort or another. Lately I have been on a skirt kick, before the colder weather kicks in. Soon enough it will be back to jeans again...

That was a decade ago, when she had some platforms. Today there are only 2 or 3 pairs left. But platforms could be another thread.

Oddly enough, although I wear heels and jeans a lot, I don't have a lot of photos of me in heels and jeans. Perhaps this is because if I bother to take a picture, which is not that often, I am either more dressed up, or I'm in shorts. That could be another subject for later.

I’d argue those are knee high and not thigh high

Fresh and clean white jeans. Put them on and you have 30 seconds until they are filthy again .....

It’s like that with bicycle handlebar tape - much as I like the nice clean look that lasts precisely one ride. Same with white or cream tyres…

I've been traumatized with white jeans ever since that time I was walking in the streets of Tehran and suddenly had a surprise attack of Montezuma's Revenge. Try walking back to your hotel with some dignity and a brown bottom.
