I'm sure there's a way to enlarge downloaded photos but I'm not yet at that level.

HappyinHeels:wave:

Looks like you saved the boots thumbnail picture in your hard drive

instead of saving the large picture located on left side of webpage.

You can also provide a link like this > Click here.

I did the above link by selecting the word "here" with my mouse

then clicking on the "insert link" button and pasting the webpage address in the URL field.

See below larger picture of your boots.

Again, very nice boots !

the short boots are Lucky Brand called laureen and the mid calf boots are JS Tylera. 9.5. 4" heel full grain leather. Have worn them both out with longish jeans and carpenter tan jeans, walmart, foodlion, so on. It seems the more you pay for very good quality built boots the longer you can stay out in them, like you forget your in heels at all.Just what ive discovered anyway.

The Laureen's are REALLY nice. Shame they only go up to sz 11. I take a sz 13, can fit in 12W, but would have probably tried these in a 12 if they were available.

For others that like them, here are some links:

This Amazon links shows all 4 colors of them:

This Zappo's link includes a video segment:

To give equal time, these are the Tylera boots:

Curious, on the Laureen boots, what's the noise level on the soles and heels when walking?

Black Boots-

Your boots are exquisite! You'll blend right in fashion-trendy Europe. Those would look good tucked-in or worn with a variety of different outfits.

9inHeels,

Your boots look very much like some I got at Bakers about a month ago called "BONITA" except the platform was a slightly different color of cognac from the rest of the boot. http://www.bakersshoes.com/c3-288-Dress-Boots.aspx#popshop

They are very cumfy and the color goes with a lot of outfits which is always good.

Hey everyone,

Just bought my first pair of military style boots. They don't really have much of a heel (1 inch), but I gotta say I pretty much love them anyways!

Here they are on Zappos (with video description): http://www.zappos.com/ros-hommerson-military-black-tuscon-calf

And here is a picture of me wearing them from my Flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mspookshow/6396256499/in/photostream

So i've been looking for a black ankle boot for a good MINUTE now, damn my feet for being so big!

I've decided to go for these pleaser boots, or a vcariation of style: http://www.amazon.co.uk/PleaserUSA-High-Seduce-460-black-leather/dp/B001U6MJPM/ref=sr_1_20?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1322181443&sr=1-20

I was wondering what peoples experiences are with ether these shoes, or pleaser as a brand? I am a size 12 but I have a wide foot, so would you reccomend I go 13? (All UK sizing!)

Thanks!

Pleaser is a great shoe for the money. It's thanks to companies like Pleaser and Elle that keep the classic styles alive. I find Pleasers reasonably comfortable but I do have a smallish narrow high arched foot.

Shafted, the boots that is! View my gallery here http://www.hhplace.o...afteds-gallery/ or view my heeling thread here http://www.hhplace.org/topic/3850-new-pair-of-boots-starts-me-serious-street-heeling/ - Pm me if you want fashion advice or just need someone to talk to.

Pretty cool, my friend! Kudos to you! Meanwhile, it looks like you're getting a goodly amount of positive vibes on Flickr. Double kudos!

I have never tried any Pleaser boots or shoes so cannot speak from experience. But, given your wide feet and the common need to go up a little in size with high heels, I would suggest you do buy a larger size than 12UK. The problem is that these Pleasers are listed as being equivalent to either 12.5 or 13.5, and true to size. The 12.5 ought to be OK - or you could get the 13.5 and fit an insole if it proved too roomy.

Do let us know how you get on, and which US size is marked on the shoes you get.

I feel a little better then. I have a pair of Naturalizer ankle boots with a little less the 3 1/2" heels, and both the heels and the soles are dead quiet. My previous pair of boots had ridiculously loud heels, so these were an an incredible (and welcome) change.

Macy's sells them, but according to their online store availability page, none are available in any stores. Shame, would have like to see them in person.

Here is my latest purchase from Aldo

I like the "riding boots" style with a wedge heel.

Very sharp! I like those boots! Bravo on a darn good choice!

Very nice boots, I like them too. I also purchased this month 2 pairs with the same type of wedge, they look high but are surprisingly stable and comfortable.

As a plus, they are on fashion this winter and I hope this trend will last as I am fond of wedges.

Everything was on sale and I had some extra cash so I bought 4 pairs from Nine West!

9 West,

Well done. I've a pair of the ankle high wedge boots you've bought but I stay away from Nine West's tall boots. I've found the shafts to be much too wide, almost as if designed for elephants. Hopefully your luck is better than mine.

These arrived this morning! I have been after a sensible pair of platform boots for a while now and saw these in the wide section of New looks website.

They are a size 9uk wide fit.I usually take a size 10uk but I find it difficult to get non fetish styles to fit me so I thought I would risk it!

They fit very well so hopefully that opens another avenue for my heel buying.

I am going to wear them out later for a little stroll with some long jeans I have. Happy Days:smile:

Recently bought a pair of these for my partner as an early Xmas present. The DM shop didn't have them in her size so by sheer luck we got a real bargain from another shop in the Covent Garden area for under £90. (DM price is £130)

http://store.drmartens.co.uk/p-5539-dr-martens-bellissa-boot.aspx

I was sort of thinking about asking if they also had them in UK9 for me but decided against. I already have a pair of DM clogs with the same basic heel/sole unit. They are very comfortable.

DSW - Yesterday. Size 10 (US), VERY comfortable. Sensible heel for walking. These might be my first "real" (I have been to gas stations, etc.) heeling experience. I plan to have dinner out in these next week........

Those boots look like a great choice for going public!
