JeffB Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Daisuki: Color me suitably impressed! Those are some absolutely dynamic looking pumps! I am envious of you! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
yellow19821 Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Two and counting! Hello again friends, its been a while since my last post, several months actually but to tell you the truth I couldn't top that last pair, till now. The official count is now two as I just secured at a steal of a price another pair of Christian Louboutin, Ron Ron 100s in the richest black patent known to man. Absolute perfection in the style and cut with the nice addition of new sizing. It can be difficult to determine a consistent fit from style to style along with the tendency for the shoes to run small, but it seems that this latest release of the Ron Ron is very true to size. As usual, the shoe features a beautiful plunging vamp for the all important toe cleavage, ultra feminine round toe box and towering but manageable 4.25" heel height. The contrast of the red sole against the black patent is hypnotic and alluring. I'm curious if Mr Louboutin realizes that along with the millions of female followers he has, there are many male customers who eagerly seek out and wear his masterpieces. Thanks for allowing me to share and as always, feel free to ask any questions! those shoes are quite possibly the most beautiful pair of black patent pumps i have ever seen! Gorgeous.....I want a pair!
SleekHeels Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Great heels Daisuki, I like the classic patent courts but I like the platforms even more, they look very elegant and fun. Enjoy them. If you like it, wear it.
Stilletto2004 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 You know what the problem with this thread is, don't you? All it does it make me want to go shoe shopping! Mike
AZShoeNut Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 The shoes are really nice in both posts, Daisuki. Life is short... Wear the bleeping shoes!
gallux Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Hey everyone; It's been a while since I last checked in. Thought I'd show my latest additions to my collection. 1st Pair I forget the brand but I got them @ DSW 2nd & 3rd pairs are from Shoedazzle.com 4th Pair are Nine West rx Wow, these shoes from shoedazzle.com are amazing. I'm gonna take a look
Curt Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Its nice to see a girl post in this section. It doesn't happen nearly enough. Btw, I love the 5" pumps. But they look hard to walk in, I have high arches also
stw8 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Here are some pics of the 2nd pair I bought. These are very classic looking Nine West Flax pumps. (yeah, Nine West is my favorite brand ) The heels are just slightly under 4" measured (3.5" listed). These are only a size 10 (half size smaller than the ones above). There is a small gap at the heel, but this will likely close in time. They feel like a very good fit, otherwise. The only drawbacks are minimal arch support (I have very high arches as might be evident from the pics) and, after wearing 5" platforms and my 4.5" wedges (not yet uploaded here), 4" feels like flats! Nice heels. I have quite a few of Nine West heels as well.
rxrenesis Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Hey, great to see you posting again. We thought you went behind the moon! Welcome back. Nice shoes, all! Steve Thanks Steve. Oh I have a few more purchases to show as soon as I can shoot them. If the shoe fits BUY IT http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a145/rxrenesis/Shoe%20Shots/
Daisuki Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 To complete the set of my recent purchases, here are a couple pics of my Nine West To The Flo 4.5" wedges. Thank you for all the kind comments on the others. The platforms are getting the most wear right now. These wedges have the highest actual heel of the 3 (not considering the platform) so they are good trainers. These wedges were the first of the 3 pairs that I bought after not wearing heels at all for quite a while. It took some time to re-adjust to the heels (especially going straight to 4.5"). However, I am wearing these and the platforms without getting the usual pain afterwards (after taking off the heels) that I would get in the past. For additional training, I have been wearing these wedges to bed most every night. Soreness has also been at a minimum, so perhaps there's something to be said for platforms, wedges and comfort!
Shafted Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I'm not a fan of wedges, but somehow I really like those. Maybe it's just the way they accentuate your legs. Awesome legs BTW. Shafted, the boots that is! Steve63130 Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I'm with you, Shafted. Not a fan of wedges at all, but those look very respectable. Steve
JSLS Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Bought a few pairs of shoes... Black heels with a silver, shiny heel/bottom of the platform. So comfortable I've worn them for most of a day, indoors, with no discomfort. I ordered them online, something like 80% off, and free delivery, and took a shot at a UK8. Fit like a glove...sock...you know what I mean! Blue Inc - £11!! These are heels my partner chose for me in a shop called Deichmann. They were on sale at £9, and she said they're too good to not get them. Tried them on in store. She actually tried on a pair first, then decided they would look better on me, and came back with a size that would fit (amazingly, a UK7! In New Look, I'm a UK8). Which made fitting into these even more shocking : These are shoes my partner bought for herself. I love them. When we got back, I thought I'd try them on (I do so with all of her new shoes!) and surprisingly they fit (UK6, different brand, I think). Extremely comfortable, and lucky me, she's happy to share. Even better, they were in the same sale as the shoes above, and she got them for £12.50.
inquisitor Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 A few new pairs from me: Cheap Burlington fine: Dollhouse $19.99 Size 11: Nine West Outlet - $24.99 Size 11: Nine West Outlet - $24.99 (50% off) Size 11: DSW - Steve Madden P-Gloria - $39.94 (Clearance), Size 11: I'll update the post with style names later on. tpryor Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 My latest (for now - new ones coming tomorrow). Steve Madden - Leather - maybe the most comfortable pair of heels I own.
Daisuki Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I'm not a fan of wedges, but somehow I really like those. Maybe it's just the way they accentuate your legs. Awesome legs BTW. I think these wedges are better than most as the heel is elegantly shaped forward. Most wedges have almost straight and hence less elegant heels. When these are worn with long pants though, it looks like they are a size 5! Thank you for your comments. I inherited my Mom's legs and feet, instead of my Dad's, thankfully. I'm almost 6'2" and wear size 10-11 Women's. Those old blue leggings aren't the best though. I like the new black ones (seen on a few photos I've posted of the other heels) much more. My latest (for now - new ones coming tomorrow). Steve Madden - Leather - maybe the most comfortable pair of heels I own. These are very nice looking platforms. Thanks for the pics! It makes me think I should invest in additional pairs such as these, especially if they are that comfortable! Which style are they and how high is the hidden platform? Looks like maybe 1.5" vs. the usual 1".

xraynt8 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I always wanted to have some oxfords and now i finally got a pair for 10€ (deichmann.de, size EU43). And i also got some wedge booties a while ago at New Yorker, i already went out with these to travel by train and walk over the campus at my university since they are not that high and very quiet i think nobody realy noticed me walking in heels only one guy on the subway looked a bit funky at me , Normally i take a EU 43/44 but i noticed at New Yorker i fit in a EU42 perfectly fine. Seems like the sizes above 40 tend to run a little biger (thankfully). http://hhplace.org/gallery/image/2018-/ http://hhplace.org/gallery/image/2019-/ http://hhplace.org/gallery/image/2020-/ http://hhplace.org/gallery/image/2021-/ http://hhplace.org/gallery/image/2022-/
Black_Boots Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 My latest (for now - new ones coming tomorrow). Steve Madden - Leather - maybe the most comfortable pair of heels I own. Very nice pair! I love them! What is the size??
tpryor Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Thanks for the comments. Details are: Steve Madden DEJAVU 6 inch heel, 2 inch platform, leather, Womens US Size 10 http://www.stevemadd....aspx?gid=17659
SleekHeels Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 JSLS, I like the black courts, and I love the boots, too good to share if you can find another pair at that price. fpryor, I saw the first photo and wasn't so sure about them, then I saw the other photos and they look fantastic! It just goes to show that the beauty of heels is when they're being worn. If you like it, wear it.
davemcwish Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Given the problems I have with sizing I am feeling very smug in getting these which fit wonderfully and with a £30 discount
Sparky088 Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Thanks for the comments. Details are: Steve Madden DEJAVU 6 inch heel, 2 inch platform, leather, Womens US Size 10 http://www.stevemadd....aspx?gid=17659 Envious all over the palce..... Wish I could squezz into a 10, oh well. Have written Steve Madden many times asking why they do not have more large sizes.....never get answer.....
Daisuki Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Steve Madden DEJAVU 6 inch heel, 2 inch platform, leather, Womens US Size 10 Great, thanks! They also have a nice video on the link. Unfortunately, 10's are normally too tight for me, unless they run large. That uncommon size, 10.5, usually works best for me and I'm glad Nine West makes the size. Still, 10 might be worth a try with these!
jdmonto Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Platforms are really popular in my country right now, and when I saw these I just loved the color, so now I have to get used to the height, they're not uncomfortable but feel really different from my other heels.
Cl0setheels Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Sale everywhere so i've been on quite a shopping spree! Good thing the new forum can handle more pics in one post. I attached a selection of shoes i've bought over the past couple of weeks. I've went completely mad and bought about every pair I saw cheap and loved. The blue pair I also bought in black. Got quite a few pairs to break in over the coming weeks. 1
HenriHH Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I wish I had your shoe budget. Between the Boots and the shoes above; you are making me very jealous. I think I need to go shoe shopping. Good Luck with all of them. Henri
