CAT Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Home Depot,,,, me too. Service is always better then when I'm in my daily work boots 8
Jkrenzer Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 I've had plenty of compliments there over the years, but I think now it's been just common enough to not surprise them anymore. 1
bluejay Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 I wore my new Nine West "Krayzie" black leather knee boots, with 3-1/2" heels, with black fleece lined footed tights and a women's parka, last week to Lowe's to get some supplies. It was definitely a feminine look, especially carrying my cross body bag. I did get some stares, even a nice compliment from the check-out clerk, that said, "nice boots". Happy Heeling, bluejay 2
pebblesf Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Love that outfit, confident and looks great buddy!

The two female clerks were very out going. I can only guess it was the shoes, as normally its, hello and light pleasantries. Today both greeted me when I was still 50 feet way as I approached. State Trooper in the bathroom fixture aisle where I was was involved with a salesrep, not sure they noticed but I didn't act or do anything to draw attention. My pants did walk up the heel as in the picture. Great outfit buddy, very powerful indeed. The jeans go great with the boots, and the jersey looks great as well. Wish I had your confidence, or a bootbud to hit home depot in boots with! Edited January 12, 2018 by Tech Do not quote the actual images themselves. 1

Jkrenzer Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 The boots are pretty worn and typical casual for me. I wear heels in a general non formal way. No different than women in jeans either. 1

I have seen many women in dress slacks and heels but I don't recall seeing a woman in casual jeans and heels, skinny jeans yes, but not the style you were wearing. I view this as a fashion failing on the women's part. I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.

Oh - - Haven't seen anyone wearing heels since.
Rockpup Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Out for lunch on Miami's South Beach. Tourist season is always too crowded with tourists, took a while to get a pic. 5 (formerly known as "JimC")
Jkrenzer Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 (edited) Great shot, weather looks nice if not a bit windy. Also, hope your not too casual for heels as seem to usuallybe. Edited February 2, 2017 by Jkrenzer Added text
Thighbootguy Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 (edited) Great heels. Watch out for the cracks in the concrete. Be a real shame to mess up those heels. Edited February 2, 2017 by Thighbootguy I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.

Rockpup Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Not jeans, same Volcom pants as this pic. Cell phones stink for getting color balance right. (formerly known as "JimC")
Popular Post Jkrenzer Posted February 18, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 18, 2017 Just had a nice little comment from a young female clerk at the local grocery store on the shoes pictured. She said "your walking around in heels even I can't walk in". I told it's because I like them. She had a very warm smile on her face. Just prior at a gas station several Latino men in a van took in the image in a different manner, but they kept their comments to themselves, I just smiled back at them. A span of 15 minutes, two polar opposite reactions, but that's OK because I enjoy myself in my heels. 14
Thighbootguy Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Nice comments are always nice to get, and other comments just keep the universe in balance. Those are nice heels, but is that snow on the ground in the picture? Seems a little brisk for those heels. I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.

Thighbootguy Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Great boots and great look. Is this an out and about outfit? I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.

I have ventured out to a few shorter outings in my outfit. So far I went to get a sandwich at Subway late night and another night I went in for a drink at an empty and remote bar, late night as well. Tried out this look at an adult social club that I visit regularly. Early this morning I went off to Starbucks and gas station. Mostly I look for less crowded, safe and accepting places since this is my most daring look.

Daring indeed. Going to accepting places is a good idea, but you might be surprised how many of them there are. It takes a while to get used to presenting yourself that way but once you get used to doing it, it gets a lot easier. You don't need my confidence lecture but getting used to presenting yourself is the next step past the "having confidence" step. These are still places I don't go in a skirt or dress but hardly anywhere I won't go wearing boots. Another thing to remember, and I have to keep reminding myself of this, is that no matter what you're wearing the world looks the same to you, but you look "different" to the rest of the world. I sometimes really forget what I'm wearing and am surprised when I notice or get a reaction for someone. It really is a great look so enjoy it (and I really do love the boots). 1 I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
KneeBooted Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 So talking with a female coworker who is out of state yesterday, I made the joke that they should make heels with safety toes and EH safe. Granted, it'd be hard to do my job in heels, but I put my black boots on with my current work pants, fleece lined women's pants from Eddie Bauer, and thought it looked good... 5

hernaezjames Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 I dont have a full body picture of what i wear but its just black long tee and denim skinny jeans when I bought these pretty strappy heels. Got a lot of odd looks and giggles but i just walk straight to the mall parking to my car and ignore them. (Thats the only time i got the chance to take these pictures. In addition i got the mary jane flats right before i got the strappy heels. 4
Henri1942 Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 I am going to the Restaurant and Lounge tonight at Hilton Inn. Here is my outfit with new Steve Madden heels. 7
Thighbootguy Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Looks good. Did you try having the blouse tucked in? I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
