If your seriously considering your first trip out in ANY of those, you dont need our help, and it shouldnt have taken you this long to make your first trip out in heels if you have the nuts to go out in any of those...

Clearly you have the balls to wear them out on your first trip, so it wont matter what you wear with them....

Hey Glitterheels, I'm with Tech on this - if you're going with any of those options, you dont need our help or advice. Obviously supremely confident ... Good luck and let us know how it goes PS: For what its worth, I like the first option

Ok so I had to chime in on this. If you need are advise as too what to wear with these shoe's then my thought is you are pulling are chain. I myself would never think about wearing any of those shoe's out in public espc. for the first time out. If I wore any of those at all it would be maybe the first pair. It really wont matter much what you wear with those shoe's since they will make more of a statement than the clothing you wear.

From a purely aesthetic point of view, either of the first 2, although I'm partial to the red ones myself. The third ones are just junk - strictly a pole-dancer, stage-walker type of shoe (in my opinion).

It doesn't matter which pair you chose to wear you are bound to attract all kinds of attention wearing any one of the three pair.

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

Well, Glitterheels, if you dare go out with those I'd suggest you match them with hot-pants or a very short mini skirt/dress. My first outing was a pair of 3.5" heel boots under my trousers. But that's just me! Oh, and I live in Argentina... And don't forget to wax your legs!

Nice shoes but maybe not for your first outing in heels ! Unless you want to be noticed for sure... (Normally we try to hide our heels the first time we wear them in public) What about trying a lower cuban heel style or chunky heel on your first outing ? (And forget about the third pair unless it is for a halloween party...) Just my opinion...

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your decision to heel publicly. It is great that you can share your feelings about heeling with your wife. With her input and companionship, she'll be a tremendous help in making this first time public venture in heels a heaven on earth.

Wear which ever you most comfortable with. You are likely to get people looking at them whatever style you choose.

Enjoy the outing.

Can I edit that

//You WILL get people looking at them whatever style you choose.//

You are a braver man than me, plain colours black or deep browns is what most start with and once confident (distance, doing it and style) then goes for the show, subtle to blatant over time as confidence again build up.

Are you taking cheerleader pompoms and a marching band with you?

Seriously good luck and please report your experience.

Agree with just about everyone so far. All of those shoes scream "Hey everyone, check me out!" At least the first pair are somewhat tasteful and the least obnoxious of the three you posted. Anyway, good luck on your outing, you indeed have a pair if you choose to make any of these your first public heels.

None of the above. If this is your first time out wearing high heels, like others have said, choose the outfit you feel most comfortable and try to find a pair of high heels that will coordinate with your outfit. Unless you are very used to walking in very high heels, you might want to consider a pair with three inch heels, give or take. But the bottom line is, what are you most comfortable wearing in public and I would suggest pre-planning your outing. Whatever you decide, good luck.

Of those 3, my pick would be number 1. Subtle, yet sexy. Very feminine. The other 2 would really attract attention. Your first time should be in subtle heels. Then, when you get more daring, that'll be the time to wear one of the other 2.

Black patent, open toed high heels are the best!

I would go with the first one from journeys. I dont thimk it would attract so much attention than the others. But I must admire your braveness I did my first time in strappy black sandels covered almost fully by jeans and at night. But It sure was exciting. Anyway make the most of it.

Alright I thought I'd give an update. I went out yesterday in a different pair then the three i gave as choices. I went out in my 5" pink heels that I am more used to then the others. I wore blacks slacks and a dress shirt. I had a couple of girls come up to me and say nice heels and wow you can walk in those well. It was a fun outing with not very many strange looks.

Here's a pick of them

glitterheels-- Wow!! I actually bought these last year, the only purchase I have ever made at Payless. What attracted me to this shoe was the height of the heel ( afull 6" heel) but the fact it was a wide heel which would go well under a pair of boot cut jeans. If you don't have your toes painted then the shoe would go fairly unnoticed. I have worn mine to some gas stations and out to eat with two friends. Got great comments from our server--amazed they were a Payless product. If you wore these then I think you're ready for--the stiletto street. Wear your heels with pride and walk confidently and the world will respond in kind. HappyinHeels

Well, I am new to this site, but here we go. I have loved wearing heels since I was in the fifth grade (that's as far back as I can remember wearing them). My wife knows that I love heels and she has even bought me some and given me a couple pair of hers (after I stretched them of course). I don't dress in women's clothes, I just love to wear high heels. I have worn my black pumps getting gas many times but have not gotten the nerve to enter a store until last Friday. I went to a nearby donut store that is new and I didn't figure on too much traffic. No one was inside but I still sat in my truck outside for about 5 -10 minutes getting up the courage and then opened the door and just walked right in. The lady behind the counter never noticed my shoes, I was so nervous that someone would come in and say something, but never did. When I was leaving I even tried to walk harder to make more noise and she still never notice. It was very exciting and I will do it again and again until I have some encounters to see what people will have to say.

High Heel.. Welcome to the site, it's a good one. All I can say is to get out in public in your heels and see what the reaction is (on isn't). You will be nervous and scared, but those feelings will go away with time. I have been heeling in public for years, love it - it's fun - but still, depending on the shoe I am wearing and the location, get nervous at times. When folks do react or comment, the positive/friendly comments far outweigh the negative ones. If more guys went out in public in heels it would be less of an issue. In all my years, I have yet to see a guy out in heels, except for me when I look in a mirror - ha ha... Take care and have fun.... sf

"Why should girls have all the fun!!"

Yes, no, and definately not.

Just my two cents.

Those who really care about us don't make a fuss about what we wear. Those who make a fuss about what we wear really don't care about us.

Hi Glitterheels, Ok, you are ready to step out for the FIRST time and you want an opinion on your three choices. After looking at the trio of heels pictured I have to mirror what KIKEPA said; YES, Maybe, and NO. The latter two are definitely for 'FUN" things like a dress-up party or Halloween or something like that. The first ones from Journeys are definitely stylish and would go well with jeans, a knit top, and a leather jacket or perhaps with a skirt/dress if you you're interested in that route. We have no idea what you want to wear. But since this your FIRST trip outside I'd suggest easing into it since YOU, more than the rest of the world, has to get used to the idea of wearing heels in public. What you want to do above all else is have the sense that you belong no matter where you stride. This is what builds all of our confidence and it will help build yours too. Good luck and please share with us whatever choices you make and how that first experience went. HappyinHeels:wavey:

My first question is what are you wearing? Man or women? 1 is ok, 2 maybe and 3 forget it. But thats me, you do what you feel and thats good. :-)
