Rockbass19 Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I have those in BOTH brown and black...love 'em!!!!
Steve63130 Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 One of my friends bought this pair in 13w from Avenue: http://www.avenue.co...=1&StyleNo=0235 When she got them, she realized that with her recent weight loss, she dropped a shoe size! So.....she asked if I wanted to buy them off her. I bought those and a pair of wing-tip platform pumps that she got from Torrid as well! I absolutely love my new boots and can't wait to rock them out and about! Very sharp looking boots!! Steve
hon62 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I was sick! I purchased the LSB's on ebay from a lady in NY. It came time to ship them and she can't seem to locate them from her recent move. We had to cancel the deal till she can locate them. So I treated myself to a NEW pair of 1969 Italia-Boutique BLACK Extreme Platform Thigh-highs to ease the pain......They arrived yesterday and they're AWESOME and easy to walk in! Posted two pics of them in my gallery!
ilikekicks Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Hon62.. You have some HUGE boobs! REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.

Curt Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I want boobs like that! Awesome. Love the boots. Leather is the only way to go for comfort. Ashley.
ilikekicks Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I want boobs like that! Awesome. Love the boots. Leather is the only way to go for comfort. Ashley. I should post a pic of ' My Boobs ' to make everyone envious ( Including the women on this site! ) REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
Curt Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I've got boobs the size of kate hudsons' pair. Its no wonder I don't need a bra.
ilikekicks Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Ok, I am curious! Fine! Check out the size of these bad boys! Tape measure is in inches, not that crazy canadian centi-meters stuff! REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
Shafted Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Love those boots ILK. I could definitely do them. Shafted, the boots that is! ilikekicks Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Love those boots ILK. I could definitely do them. Those are vintage ' Fredelle ' bought from a store called ' Merry-go-round ' in the very early 80's. They are all leather with suede leopard print put ontop. The heel is VERY solid. They are another prize from my mother-in-law for working on her home . I havent worn them outside of trying them on and talking a small walk in the house due to me not owning anything that would work as an outfit with them. The wifes closet however.. REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.
Shafted Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Go for darker neutral colors and then let the boots speak for themselves. They are definitely screaming to be seen. Would look good with slim fit or skinny jeans. They are dare to be worn boots. Shafted, the boots that is! JeffB Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Fine! Check out the size of these bad boys! Tape measure is in inches, not that crazy canadian centi-meters stuff! Hmm! Most interesting! Those boots look like something a Kardashian might wear! HA! Big props to you, my friend! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
Jimnj3 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Well, that explains everything! Those are some great looking boots. I remember the Merry Go Round stores. You should give them a road test soon! Jim
LuvyourShoes Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Red goes exceptionally well with leopard ILK. try a red shirt or cardigan over a black v neck with a nice pair of skinny jeans or tights.

Doing jobs for heels! Could I do that for louboutins? Ashley.
Rob Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Very nice! Fluevog Prince George by any chance? http://www.fluevog.com/code/?w%5B0%5D=gender%3Amen&pp=1&view=detail&p=62&colourID=3323&commentpage=1#comments
bionicbabe Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 yeah they are wore them downtown and noone cared few girls said awesome
Curt Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I bought a new pair of boots yesterday. Fluevog Discovery boots. 3.75 " heels. No platform. Ilk and Shafted should be pleased, as they don't like plats too much. I like plats because there is more cushion for the ball of the foot. Anyway, I love these, the shafts are a little high. I might chop them 2 or 3 ".
crotchhiguy Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Leave the shafts alone.....the boots look excellent the way they are! Just my opinion.
Shafted Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I could rock a pair of boots like that. They would work well with skinny jeans, even if they are not stilettos. At this point, I don't know if platforms have fashion longevity or if it's just a fad. single sole heels have proven it time and time again that they do have fashion longevity. The classics all seem to be single sole. Aesthetically I am very much against any shoe that adds bulk to the foot as small feet seem to be considered sexy. I think that small feet are sexy. Here's something that it seems not too many know. Platforms actually create an optical illusion of having short legs. Something like the wearers legs are too short to reach the floor. JeffB Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Small feet are considered sexy, eh, Shafted? Seeing I wear a 13 wide, I guess I have no hope! But yeah, I like pumpcat's new boots too, simple but stylish, I could easily wear them with skinny jeans tucked into them. I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
Shafted Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Small feet are considered sexy, eh, Shafted? Yes, and that is the illusion created by high heels no matter what size you are. That was after all, part of their design. Shafted, the boots that is! Guest Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 yeah, leave the shafts alone-the total design looks awsome!
Jimnj3 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Aghh. Don't do anything to those great looking boots!!! Head on out with so skinny jeans tucked in! What a great look!
NewfieGuyInHeels Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Ordered a new pair of boots, thinking of wearring them under skinnies. http://www.callitspring.com/ca-eng/clearance/womens-boots/mid-boots/90516843-howles/12 http://s77.photobucket.com/albums/j78/darthraze/
Rockpup Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Found a pair of Hunter Champery boots at the local Neiman Marcus outlet for $28. The right boot is missing the insole, but the stock ones are not great anyways so no big loss. Been looking for a black pair, now I need to find Lonny's Another day, another Nieman Marcus outlet, another pair of boots 80% off. Ash Zenith boots. The pair with dark laces I have worn all over the place for the last several months. I was hoping to find a pair in black, but a second pair in dark purple is fine too for the cost. They will get plenty of use (formerly known as "JimC")
today Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Bought two pair of the Xhilaration Keava Boot in Orange for Halloween a couple of years ago for wife and myself. Found them at Target 1/2 price. We wore them to a party, and even though I'm not a regular high heel wearer, I had no problems. I was thinking of buying some in Gray, but I can't find them at Target website now, appears they have dropped this style.
