I tried to ID some designers Charlize seems to favor: Below, pic 1 and 2 are Tom Ford, n°3 Louboutin, n°4 Versace, n°5 Dior. A fine collection of heels.

Next: Elizabeth Hurley When you put on a pair of 12 cm Jimmy Choo booties for an air trip, you really deserve to be regarded as an high heel icon (pic 1-2-3). Note she has two pairs of the same model, one in nude color, the other in dark blue. The arch on the silver sandals (pic 4) is quite impressive too, and I'm sure the lady staring in the background of the picture would agree.

Thanks, there are a few more ladies whom I wish to pay tribute to. Today's choice: Kate Beckinsale. Though the Manolo Blahnik's in the last picture are not as high, by far than most of the other heels shown on this forum, they are extremely elegant.

The pair in the first pic is really sky high (at least, more than the usual we are used to see) or is just an effect caused by the shot angle?

Can you see the real me, preacher? Can you see the real me, doctor? Can you see the real me, mother? Can you see the real me?

These are Jimmy Choo's Esam platform pumps, with 5 3/4" / 14,5 cm heels with 1 1/2" / 4 cm platform. So, indeed, the heel is higher than usual, but the angle of the shot makes them look even higher.

Here is a picture of the same model in black suede:

They are about 1400€:wave::smile:

Kate Beckinsale.

She is so pretty and an under-rated actress, in my opinion. Thank you for the photos.

Today's pictures: Jennifer Garner.

No matter how hard they try to make her look glamorous, Jennifer Garner (aka Mrs. Ben Afleck) always displays a natural beauty and looks like the "girl next door."

Indeed, though I'd be delighted if the girl next my door actually looked like miss Garner  Today's choice: Kate Winslet (a few more installments and I'll be done)

Today's celeb: Neve Campbell:

Nice selection there. You don;t see a lot of photos with Neve in heels.I love the business suit look with the strappy heels.

Final choice for 2011: Sarah Michelle Gellar

Watch the CW TV show "Ringer" and you will see her in many different pairs of high heels on every episode.

Kinda funny you should say that. A few years back when these pics mostly were taken she wore heels quite often. She's a trained ballerina after all so has both the flexibility and the foot strength to make heels a complete no-hassle. She can really do the famous toe-stand (legendarily faked in "Titanic") where she supports her whole weight on the tips of her bare feet toes - I've seen it.

She stopped dancing due to injuries before she got known for her acting (about a year before "Party of Five") but resumed training when she got positive feedback for her semi-autobiographical script entitled "Red Shoes". A few years later she was ready and Robert Altman directed the re-titled "The Company" with Neve as the female lead. As opposed to Natalie Portman in "Black Swan" who used a dance double extensively, Neve did all her own dancing. But the cost was high and new injuries caused Neve to take it extremely easy and that meant little or no heels. Unfortunately that habit stuck and now she rarely wears heels.

(I know all this because I've known Neve personally for almost two decades now, from way before she became really famous. I'm a friend of the family and have stayed privately with both Neve's older brother Christian, Neve's mother Marnie and of course Neve herself)

Did anyone see Madonna on Graham Norton show this last weekend? (still on iPlayer for those in the UK). Fishnets and black patent platform peep toe CL's... though I don't know exactly which shoe. Couldn't find a good picture on line but video on the below:

Among the new pretty faces of Hollywood, Olivia Wilde is certainly one of the most promising (Tron, In Time, etc.). She has also shown a great taste for high heels, as the following pictures prove:
