  1. King is a canadian TV show staring Amy Price-Francis as Jessica King, a Toronto Police officer. It's just your average, (not great, but rather good) police TV drama, but the main character shows a strong taste for high heel designer shoes. I watched the first 3 episode from the first season, and, as far as heels are concerned, this show is on verge of blatant fetishism. Available now in France on Catch-up TV (M6.fr). http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1804880/
  2. Jessica Chastain is one of the most gifted young actresses of these recent years. She has apparently a strong taste for very high heels.
  3. In some shots, she (or her stunt double) wore some wedges with painted on heels; quite a neat trick:
  4. The backward curved heel, AFAIK, has been around since 1959, when it was first designed by Roger Vivier ("Talon choc"/"Shock Heel"). Vivier was one of the of the most original and influential shoe designer, so, modern designers tend to sort of pay hommage to him from time to time. The result is not always very convincing.
  5. I don't think they are dead. Unless dead can answer emails... It seems they only do made-to-order now. Apart from that, good luck with your project. As you can tell from my avatar, I'm a huge fan of these vintage styles.
  6. Anne Hathaway as Catwoman is wearing nice thigh-high platform boots with weaponized stiletto heels in the last Batman. You can go watch the movie for the action, which is pretty spectacular, but don't expect enjoying much clear sights of the heels, though. Here is the clearest view I could find, and a picture of the boots on display.
  7. Laura Pausine had often had her outfits designed by Roberto Cavalli. This one might be by this designer, though I was unable to find this exact style style in Cavalli collections. But if you look at the sandal style from summer 2011 in the following picture, you'll notice it could be the ankle height version of the same design.
  8. I've thought my new avatar could fit in the Celebrities in High Heels category:
  9. Since Jean-Paul Gaultier has been mentioned: Saw this one today on a bus stop. If you look closely, you'll see that it's not exactly a case of man in high heels...
  10. These are Giuseppe Zanotti wedges. They have been around since 2010 (at least), and they can be yours (in a glitter version) for $ 695: http://www.giuseppezanottidesign.com/item/store/GIUSEPPE+ZANOTTI+DESIGN/tskay/96745C45/gender/D/season/secondary/rr/1/cod10/44358099LF/areaid//sts/
  11. I think these are Chanel. As a matter of fact, the whole outfit is Chanel, and the picture is a still from Devil Wears Prada movie.
  12. Among the new pretty faces of Hollywood, Olivia Wilde is certainly one of the most promising (Tron, In Time, etc.). She has also shown a great taste for high heels, as the following pictures prove:
  13. I think I recognize the Charlotte Olympia logo under the sole.
  14. Thanks for the explanations. I'll sure check this Company movie.
