@hhboots inspired me with his pictures. Together with my wife we decided to buy Aldo Franchette (UK 7 and UK 9). And so here there is a picture of these beauties :smile:

That's a beautiful tangle of legs in high heels, you both look very pretty in your shoes.

If you like it, wear it.

As @luxxyheels quoted, these are Aldo Franchette. Unfortunately not in offer anymore. They are around 13.5 cm high. We also have got thigh high boots from Germany, 13.5 cm high but my wife has got red eco-leather while I've got grey faux(?). I'll make a picture the next time we're wearing them together. Till then I have to make some pics of my 7" OTK boots from Leatherworks and 8" OTK from Pleaser :smile:

ALL,

Just wanted to let you all know that, after hearing many positive posts about Nordstrom Rack, I landed in one today! They are far and few between and they have no stores in Wisconsin but I was in downtown Chicago today and found discount shoe heaven!!!! I thought DSW had a big discount area but Nordstrom Rack packs thousands of shoes from 5-12 on their shelves. Find something you like, TRY IT ON, then go to the "Shoe Mate" counter and they go get the one that goes with it. Go back downstairs and pay. Upon checkout I told the girl it was first time I had gone inside a Nordstrom Rack and she replied by saying with a smile "and you bought women's shoes." She said she noticed a small spot on the right shoe but I said since it was a blush or nude colored shoe that makeup rubbed over it would blend it away and she was quite impressed with that. Here's the link and picture of what I got;

I highly recommend anyone looking for size 11 and 12 try out this store!!

While going to one of the local malls to pay my cell phone bill, I came upon another pair of Baby Phat Chance pumps in a size 11 in a grey. The price was so good at $27 and with discount at the register and tax the pumps came to $26 !!!!! I did not pass them up.

I would like a pair like that in a UK8 but the postage here to us is horendous. I wish there was a way of getting them here to me at a lower postage tariff.

You must enjoy them and think of me I am so envious.

Even better, we have two near me that put both pairs of shoes out in the box. You don't have to go to the Shoe Mate and you don't have to stand in line for the registers holding a pair of high heels. Best of all, the racks are not just a heap of shoes the way they are when they have just one shoe of a pair out loose.

There is not a lot of selection in size 14, but they have them. They have the Me Too slingback pumps in many colors right now.

Those are some very pretty high heels. I noticed the hole near the front didn't really make them a peep-toe, but it is unique. Congratulations on your find.

From the side view, I thought that opening was 'small spot'. Glad I was wrong!

I love the pleasers. I have a pair of Indulge 543 5.5" platforms and they are so comfortable. I did wear them at home when I got home last night. Are you going to wear the out in public?

Hi All,

I had bought a suede miniskirt that is like a burnt orange along with a ruffled sleeve floral top and then saw these cute sandals at Bakers which match the color to an amazing degree. I'm told this color is hard to match but I guess I got lucky.

http://www.bakersshoes.com/p-204945-KAY.aspx?c=296

These shoes now come in turquoise (really a bright blue, fuschia, black, and the burnt orange I got. They actually had them in size 11 in the store from the start. About $76 out the door with my discount card.

I hope to some day. My girl friend is very accepting and encourages me to buy more heels! So it is just a matter of time. Also forgot to add that I purchased these as well.

kfsteve391, Thanks. I'll be out West next month and will have some time to shop and relax and will pass through the Phoenix area about mid month. I'd love to meet someone from this forum and hit a few stores. HappyinHeels

Have a super weekend.

I do have a pair of Pleasers (http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/snaz75_2149_146968992) that I have had for years and wear them out to the car and while driving. It is not easy driving a manual transmission in them but I can do it. :smile:

Regretfully those that you like are a size 9.5 in UK Womens. I do wear shoes anywhere from US size 10 ~ 12 depending on the shoe

Well then, as expected the Dune Jelly Wedges turned out to be too small; though really didn't look good at all in the flesh - the overall design just wasn't sorted enough; a bit too clunky - shame really as they looked good in the photo.

The closed wedges are plenty long enough but needed a little stretching across the width of the ball of the foot but are now absolutely great; disappear rather well under my jeans, especially whilst wearing black nylons.

The stars of the show however are the Melissa wedges; as hoped the thong is far enough up the shoe that my toes are perfectly positioned on the soles but equally my heels don't hang off the backs. Although a foam base they are still firm and equally disappear under my jeans - obviously wearing thong sandals but not obvious i'm in heels; have used as my "slippers" around the house from getting up first thing in the morning to last thing at night and have definitely been feeling a change in my leg muscles and posture - just a shame I wear flat to work all day but at least the combination keeps me rather flexible as I want to be able to go from boys flats to extreme heels without too much trouble.....and seems to be working :smile:

Further the last round of purchases, I have a gift card from last year totalling £80 for Kurt Geiger, where I had bought the shoes you see in my avatar but returned them as they were just too small and wasn't prepared to have to stretch a pair of shoes that cost so much. Anyway Kurt Geiger have a mid season sale on again and have seen these, which I have been hankering after for a while; http://www.kurtgeiger.com/online-shop/165937-kg-apple which then leaves me with £30 to spend on another pair, possibly these; http://www.kurtgeiger.com/online-shop/169966-kg-menezes

However I REALLY like the look of these but as stated before my feet don't look good in peep toes - certainly not the current styles with a larger opening; http://www.kurtgeiger.com/online-shop/190206-french-connection-jairosfam5

Quite like the look of these too but would wipe out the credit in one go;http://www.kurtgeiger.com/online-shop/200431-carvela-audit

Anyway, here are the thumbnails;

morning all

still tapping away at 2am; maybe the rich chocolate cake at 11:30 wasn't such a good idea......

Anyway, now that spring has sprung, thoughts turn to some warmer weather footwear. Have had some thoughts, as mentioned before, about getting some wedges for use as house shoes to force me to wear a heel as much as possible (and maybe jellies that I could even use in the shower), so after a little searching came up with the following;

Dune Jelly wedge sandals in coral; http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_56308+54478_-1?breadcrumb=Home~Sale~Shoes~txtdune%2C+wedge

Then saw these

http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_050010409863_-1?breadcrumb=Home~Sale~Shoes~txtred+herring%2C+sirus for some fairly incognito wear.

Melissa Aquarius thong wedges in brown; http://www.asos.com/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=944450 although £55 here, have picked up off ebay for £27.50 after a bit of hunting

the sandals may be a little too short for my size 9s but will have to see; not a great fan of my feet in womens open toe shoes, maybe need to paint my nails; have thought emerald green as a contrast to the coral - please post any subtle suitable and colour suggestions.

The Melissa wedges are exactly what i was thinking of; with being a thong style, hopefully that will keep my feet higher up the shoes so that my toes don't over hang the front.

The Melissas look like they should be fine getting wet but the Dunes look like they might have a foam centred foot bed which may be prove to absorb water; will have to see.

see pics below for when sales links are broken

Will post again once received.
