Bubba136 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Appreciate the pictures, Elegant! Those boots are built on platforms, aren't they? Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

fashionablefun Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 That's kneehighs on the left and me, fashionablefun, on the right. I still read, but don't post much anymore. I just checked though, and my 7-pages of "fashionably fun collection" of photobucket photos (http://www.hhplace.org/guys/5763-fashionably_fun_collection.html) are still linked and working, even though a few internal links don't show. Of course, I've got a whole new collection now.
Maximilian Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 First time I've seen your old post fashionablefun. I LOVE your style. The outfits work so well with the heels. It would be fantastic to see some of your new looks.

Elegant Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 My everyday look: black shearling coat, leather pants & blazer, hat, ankh necklace and some beads, 3" knee-high boots. What is good for a goose, can be good for any gender!
mikeheel Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Elegant... YES YES YES this is a look that works, I think you are doing just the right thing. Thanks for posting your picture in the snow...FANTASTIC M You won't get me wearing flat shoes...I really can't do it.
Elegant Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Thanks. I'll have a "proper" photoshoot soon, so more pics to come. It's good that I'm getting better and better with make-up; I'll show you some of my androgynous ideas. What is good for a goose, can be good for any gender!
kikepa Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Elegan, have you considered changing your avatar... Those who really care about us don't make a fuss about what we wear. Those who make a fuss about what we wear really don't care about us.
Maximilian Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Time for some more photos. "The clubbing outfit". Mind you that I've not worn this outfit in public...yet. What I like most about the look is that it makes you feel super confident and makes you believe that you look great as well. It's meant to be worn for a night out in town (or a heel meet ), not for the daily errands. 1 - Black leather jacket by Alfani (http://www.federated-fds.com/pressroom/macys/private_brands/Alfani/) 2 - Burgundy-wine color dress shirt by Zara (http://www.zara.com/) 3 - Skinny leather jeans by Lip Service (http://www.lip-service.com/) 4 - Black leather thigh high boots with 4 inch heel "St. Tropez" by Jean Gaborit. (http://www.jean-gaborit.com/en/) Photo 1 - Final glance before heading out to a night of fun. Photo 2 - 3 - Ready to go. Photo 4 - Ah, glancing at my lovely boots. Photo 5 - Dancing on the "dance floor", virtually at the moment yet imagining how I would look like to others.
Bubba136 Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Wow, Max......Stunning. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Maximilian Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Here is another clubbing look. The outfit is the same yet the boots are a different pair (except in the first pic). - Black knee high pull on style boots with 4 inch stiletto heels and pointed toes by Giuseppe Zanotti. These are probably my favorite boots because they are so versatile. They look amazing with mini/knee/ankle length skirts, over skinny jeans, under bootcut jeans or dress pants and leather pants of course. These are my idea of a perfect knee high stiletto dress boot. Photo 1 - Still dancing in my Jean Gaborit boots! Someone stop me, yes you, the gorgeous lady who's been smiling and staring at me for the past 2 minutes non stop. Photo 2 - A stoner in stilettos Photo 3 - Portrait for the wall above the fireplace Photo 4 - Thinking about stuff in color and in B/W
danielp6406 Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Here is another clubbing look... Again, very nice boots and leather pants ! Don't remember if someone else already asked this question but who is taking the pictures ? Is-it your GF ? If so, what is her impression of you wearing heels ? Do you go out together in heels ? Next time you go out to a club, you may want to take some pictures and share your outing with us ! Happy heeling
morpho Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Max, .........now we are talking freestyle fashion. well done, very creative. Do you go clubing wearing those boots? anywhere? V. Morpho
Elegant Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 You look excellent. Haven't you thought about a bit of make-up? Some eyeliner and/or mascara would match the look very well. What is good for a goose, can be good for any gender!
Guest Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 way to go max, you are really styling BIGTIME, I love it!!
gimf Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I want to try going out like this: http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j4/cnrward/Style%20and%20Clothing%20pics/MENINHEELS.jpg Love the style. From the original site here. That is so awesome. I would love to dress like that daily, but I am much too shy. I wish the world would hurry up and accept men in heels
JeffB Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Max: You most definitely are DA MAN! Fantastic outfit, even more stunning boots! Brilliant, my friend, absolutely brilliant! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
