bailey Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 I have been noticing more and more of these style boots showing up on websites and stores. It is only my opinion and personal taste but do these styles look odd. When I see a knee high or over the knee boot I am more inclined to picture a closed toe. It may because I am climatized to colder temperatures in the fall and winter so to see toes peeking out of a pair of boots just does not seem appealing. I must say some have great styling but then lose it at the toes. I have a number of pairs of boots but I do not think there will be any of them with this style in my collection. Your thoughts?
Jkrenzer Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Women's heel fashion is not about practicality hence why I love all my non traditional footwear. Example, the loafers I recently posted with 5 inch heels. Love to look at and wear non practical footwear.
Steve63130 Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 I agree. When it comes to fashion, quit looking for logic! Steve 1

I thought so to, but now that I have a couple of pairs of peep toes, im looking for a pair of knee high platform peep toe boots A year ago I was 100% agreeing with you, now ive moved the other way Weird !! Shyheels Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 I always felt that boots are meant to be boots - I just can't see the sense or logic in exposed toes on boots.
jeremy1986 Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Agree with you @bnchmrk - I think they look downright ugly!
TKHeels Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 I would like to get some knee-high boots at some point, and I too would prefer closed-toe, however, I could see myself getting some open-toe ones as well just for the styling of it.
Cali Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 I've looked at these (went shoes shopping yesterday) but not interested in them. I wear boots when I can't wear open toe shoes, rain etc. so I don't see me buying this style.
Pierre1961 Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 I agree. Peep toe boots is a stupid idea. It makes no sense. If you add that toes are not always so nice by themselves. Pierre
RonC Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 I've never understood that style either - just looks bad. Yet it has been around for a long number of seasons now. Time to let it go!
