JeffB Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Two words----HELL NO!! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
Charlie Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I'm with Jeff. I barely spend that on a car. LOL They are nice looking though.. Charlie Everything I say is a lie!.......I'm lying
Waisted_Giraffe Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 christ!, you must be joking; nothing special in the design even if they are crocodile and only 20 made - the pattern could be used elsewhere so can't be THAT exclusive. You could have a fox fur gilet from the same vendor, originally worth...........£12K ! for crying out loud. Foxes are almost seen as vermin here; can be caught without damaging the skin for 50 quid........ there is something seriously wrong with the world....... R
spikesmike Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 gary0618 Boy, what temptation. Sure glad they are not my size and not my heel height. HA-HA. Mike
sendra45 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I like them and will be bidding on them later tonight, what a pair of boots! The angels have the phonebox.
FreshinHeels Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I'll have to sell my right leg to buy them... not much point then really In the process of becoming the person I always was...but didn't dare to let her come out
Waisted_Giraffe Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I like them and will be bidding on them later tonight, what a pair of boots! seriously? are you mad? and with all due respect, what on earth do you do to earn enough money to able to simply justify anywhere near that amount? Gucci or not, there is absolutely no need on god's green earth to spend that much money on clothes, footwear etc. sorry, I just don't understand. However I will honestly wish you good luck none the less; it's your money after all and I truly hope they are worth it. R

Phoenix Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 If I was making $2 to $3 million a year, which I am absolutely not, I'd make a run at them sure.
Snoots Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 I already have a pair. I'm also a compulsive liar.... ahem
crotchboots-m Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 sorry, but i work hard for my money. i love boots, but i can have just as much fun with pair of 60 dollar pleasers as those overpriced things.
miltboot Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I'm a boot lover, but I can honestly say, I don't love boots THAT much. 8 grand? Give me a break.
Maximilian Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 8000?! lol. I wouldn't spend 8 dollars on them. Ugly boots in my opinion.
DProud2700 Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I am also a boot lover. I have looked at the boots of Jimmy Choo, Gucci and the alike and have one word on the price. No Way in Hell!!!!

R Well, I may have been a bit of an optimist, as it happens I didnt win the lottery like I thought I would, hence no bid. ah well, here is to the mid week draw! The angels have the phonebox.
Charlie Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 So which am I to believe? Read my signature quote for more clarity.. LOL Charlie Everything I say is a lie!.......I'm lying
ShockQueen Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I could buy a TON of shoes/boots for the cost of one of those pairs. Holy cow, that's a huge dip to pay for just ONE pair. SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
hhboots Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Even if I could burn money like that, I wouldn't spend that much on any pair of shoes, much less those ugly things. Heck, it took me weeks to get over the fact that I once spent $150 on a pair of shoes. I can easily afford spending $150 no problem, but still don't like spending that much on a pair of shoes, I'm too much of a tightwad.
77stiletto Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 yeah, i agree, they are pretty bloody ugly!!!!! if i had $8k for boots, im sure i could do a lot better than that. where can i get those GML with the metal heel. i REALLY need some of them! there is just nothing hotter!!!
roniheels Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Those are very pretty boots. They would be a nice addition to anyone's collection. But even if I could afford to spend that kind of money on something like that, no, I would not spend $8,000 on a pair of footwear. That would be a very nice down-payment on a very nice vehicle.
Waisted_Giraffe Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Well, I may have been a bit of an optimist, as it happens I didnt win the lottery like I thought I would, hence no bid. ah well, here is to the mid week draw! ah, of course, that would do it! indeed, here's to the mid week. R
Kittyinboots Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Definitely not practical, there are better things for spending your money. Even a few millionaires and billionaires would say that price tag is outrageous, which is how some people stay wealthy, not spending on status symbols. Having said that, let's just dream a little bit. If those boots were some magical, futuristic pair where you could go heeling in public without negative stares or comments, adjustable heel height, shaft, toe, shape, color, style, etc., and it was indestructible in every way with an anti-theft feature built in. Throw in some futuristic comfort shock absorbers for all day walking, and a lifetime guarantee. Then for $8000 I would say I would start saving up for it, and open up my piggy bank.
loswabs Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Sod's law says the stiletto is absolutely guaranteed to get stuck between two paving slabs and get snapped off. Imagine how gutted you'd be then!!!! It's my opinion, no more, no less
Steve63130 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Maybe you could get a quantity discount! HA HA HA Steve
DProud2700 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 I am also a model railroader as well as a heeler. I use to get nervous about model trains that cost over $500. Now with some models costing almost $5000! That is why I do the same thing for the model trains that I do on heels, I look for the bargins.

MySpikes Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Like many others, I have no interest in these. I could never imagine paying anywhere near $8000 for any article of clothing, no matter how exotic or rare.

(Robin Williams as "Mork from Ork", "Mork and Mindy" -- for those readers who, for whatever reason, weren't paying attention in the 70's). But I'm gonna have to jump a whole lot of tax brackets before I can even consider 8 Grand for a pair of boots -- gorgeous though they may be. Have a happy time!
