euchrid Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Another 'celeb' wearing stupid boots. Or maybe you will like them too. Whatever... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1063083/Beckham-mania-Poshs-gravity-defying-thigh-high-PVC-boots-stop-traffic-New-York.html Always High-Heel Responsibly
secondtake20 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 I would like to try them at home but not in public.
highheeltrained Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 if they had stiletto heels they would have been sexier but she looks hot in them and she makes them look sexy
hoverfly Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Cool, I want a pair. Hello,  my name is Hoverfly. I’m a high heel addict…. Weeeeeeeeeee!  👠1998 to 2022!
Amanda Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 His wardrobe manager is taking the mickey surely?. Even I wouldn't be mean enough to make him look like that.
Trolldeg Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Is it that hard for the reporter to see that the boots are not PVC but latex?
LovesHiHeels Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Like those boots. If Posh can walk in them well, then why not wear them.
JeffB Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Damndest things I've ever seen. Whoever designed those boots must've been high as a kite on some narcotic. I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
Bubba136 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 There popularity will increase 200% because she was photographed wearing them. There will be a "run" on them because of that. The boots themselves are nice looking. It's only the pony style heels that make them look strange. Don't like them, myself, though. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Zinkhink Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 If anyone want a pair, the boots are made by Antoni Berardi http://www.antonioberardi.com and they are probably NOT cheap.
roniheels Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 I'm sorry folks. I don't like them . The "heel" is the key to wearing high heels in my opinion. That's just my opinion.
crotchboots-m Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 good for her...she should wear whatever floats her boat
r1g0r Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 i could only hope that this kind of publicity would make them popular enough that they start appearing at lower price ranges. i was born a poor white boy society has decided that men will be confined to certain items of clothing, and certain modes of presentation. until we rebel PERSONALLY against this, we are diminished!
aussieheels1 Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 the heels (or the non-heels) ar alright... but I have to say... Posh is looking mighty fine with her new hair style.... (1000% better than the previous look)
Jarl Ayari Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 His entire winter 08-09 collection and runway were in those boots... Models walked just fine in them. The show is on Antoniios site... Andi Smile and the whole world smiles with you, Fart and your on your own!!!
barney15c Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 I don't like them and Victoria Beckham wearing them does nothing to enhance that My 2p's worth. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king!!!
roz Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Not my style, but good on Victoria daring to be different. It will be interesting to see how many other celebs begin wearing these boots or similar shoes.
barney15c Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 It will be interesting to see how many other celebs begin wearing these boots or similar shoes. Bound to. You have only got to look at Jo-Lo (High Heeled Timberlands) Jessica Simpson (Platform and round toe pumps) etc etc Because of the construction I wouldn't expect cheap knock offs to appear in the shops though ie Payless.....but who knows??? In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king!!!
heelma Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Another 'celeb' wearing stupid boots. Or maybe you will like them too. Whatever... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1063083/Beckham-mania-Poshs-gravity-defying-thigh-high-PVC-boots-stop-traffic-New-York.html Very interesting! Can anyone tell me if there is any back support whatsoever on these? Just thinking of those pony boots, which in my opinion are similar in the way that they don't have a heel. (Obviously, the front looks completely different!) Pony boots have this little metal piece sticking out on the back of the front part that I believe gives some more stability. I don't see anything like that on these boots she wears. Does that mean she was just on her toes all of the time?
las Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 I would like to try them at home but not in public. Totally agree - but the price means they're not even viable for that either, hehe.
cheyenne Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 I'd donate a kidney for a pair of those boots.
heelma Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Here is a movie of that event. She doesn't seem to have any issues whatsoever to walk with those boots. You can't see much of them in this video, unfortunately, but at least you can see how she walks.
bladerunner Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 ah what the hell i'd go for a pair if money were no object! would be fun to at least try them out! I just love those suede heels!!!!!
vector Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Same here. As noticed before, she seems to have no problem walking in them.
flavio Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 She looks preety good in them, she can wear whatever she wants, anyone can wear whatever wants too. I would buy a pair for me, but not with those price tags. Actually, for me, a stilleto heel would look better. Flavio - Brazilian heel lover, now in France.
latexboobs Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 ah what the hell i'd go for a pair if money were no object! would be fun to at least try them out! If I had the money, I'd have a pair as fast as I could get them, then I would probably never take them off. I love these boots more than any other I have ever seen. I used to draw pictures of a boot very similar to these, but not as sexy. From what I've read, they want you to go in for a "fitting," which will add to the cost as well. Something tells me that even if there are "knock-offs," they will not be as well engineered.
highheelslov Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 those are awsome would luv to have a pair for the wife
Dawn HH Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Someone said that they would trade a kidney to have a pair of boots like them. I disagree. I think that I will forgo the boots and keep both of my kidneys, as old as they are. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
jo Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 The designer says they are made out of rubber/latex, but almost every newspaper changed the headline to say PVC when they wrote up the story. Can't rely on journos to get anything right.
