Thighbootguy Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 iibb – Very nice collection! My favorites are the red thigh boots then the black lace ups. The black thigh boots with the blade heel look interesting but the heel looks very high, although that may be the camera angle. How high are they? I’ve never been a platform fan but I’ll put a pair of red boots on my wish list. I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
quio05 Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Hi,, a couple of pics... in my red TH Boots.. I love your red Thigh high boots.
jsphcass Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 iibb : i agree with all the previous posts, really nice overall collection of boots you have! I cast my favorite votes for the red thighboots and black ones with the blade heel .
Dawn HH Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 iibb:-) I also vote for the red thighboots and the black ones with the blade heel. Quio05:-) Welcome to the HH Place. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
roniheels Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 iibb ... Fantastic boots. I have just ordered a pair of lace-up thigh boots similar tothe ones in you picture. I will let the site now how much AI enjoy them. Thanks for sharing your photos with us.
iibb Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Thanks for all the +++ comments.. The Platform thigh hights have 20 cm Heel and 10 cm Platform (+- 8 inch) i'ts very easy to walk in there. Here other pics of my red Boots
Thighbootguy Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 iibb - I really like the contrast of the red boots with blue jeans but if you want to really make them pop, try white slacks. Does the combination of leather slacks and thigh boots, picture #2, work for you? I’ve always found the combination very warm. I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
Thighbootguy Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 iibb - Be sure to take care of those boots you wore out in the snow and be very cautious about wearing the suede ones out in the salt. The salt would ruin a great looking pair of boots. I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
iibb Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Hi Thighbootguy,, sorry for my english, this place is not salted, here is only snow
iibb Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Hi Thigtbootguy , what is white slacks?(my english is no so good sorry..)
marhil711 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Hi Thigtbootguy , what is white slacks?(my english is no so good sorry..) That's "witte broek" in Dutch or "pantalon blanc" in French. Whatever you prefer. Hope to be of some assistance.
Danke nochmal marhill711 .. iibb, as far as I remember the rules in this forum, all text should be in English, so that everybody can read it. Since the two mayor languages in Belgium are Dutch and French I thought I post both. But assuming from your German reply, do you come from the small german speaking part in eastern Belgium?
muddypaws Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 The best way is to look at my avatar. I am wearing White Slacks" Muddypaws
muddypaws Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I think we sshould not be too heavy on a member for saying thank you, even if it is in a different language! Merci! Muddypaws
marhil711 Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I didn't mean to be any "heavy" on iibb, I just know that others have been taunted for posting in another language. This was merely meant as a friendly reminder. I surely appreciate his "thank you" reply in my mother tounge, no doubt about it.
NewfieGuyInHeels Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Another outfit of mine for this winter season. Over the knee flat boots from Sirens, Black Utilikilt, and a read sweater from Old Navy. As always, love your opinions! http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j78/darthraze/Me221.jpg http://s77.photobucket.com/albums/j78/darthraze/
HappyFeat Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 I actually wasn't going to post these, but I decided what to anyway. The reason I wasn't going to put them up was mainly because they I really didn't care for the way they cam out, but after reviewing them further, I decided they were fun and not as bad as I thought in the first place. The pictures are five more shots in the dress that I bought a few weeks ago. Since I have been pretty busy, I still haven't gotten around to trying some of the suggested looks from my first two batches, but I do plan on doing that when time permits. So here they are: #11 - Limited dress, black slim Ann Taylor Loft jeans, Steve Madden black patent Mary Jane pumps #12 - Limited dress, "denim" Aldo leggings, red Nine West Ankle boots #13 - Limited dress, gray Ann Taylor Loft slim jeans, red Nine West pumps #14 - Limited dress, white Banana Republic matchstick jeans, black Nine West D'Orsay pumps #15 - Limited dress, red Calvin Klien jeans, black Steve Madden knee boots I really didn't accessorize that much with these pictures, so they are all kind of boring but the outfits really show that this dress offers a lot of options. I love how one item can really add a lot to the wardrobe. Style is built from the ground up!
Dawn HH Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Happyfeat:-) With the right accessories any one of those outfits could be a knock-out on you. It just goes to show that even though you don't have the time to have an outing, you can still experiment wth things once in a while. Thanks for sharing. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
roniheels Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Wow! Those are five lovely high heels and I like the way you have coordinated them with your outfits. You do have a nice eye for style with all of your outfits and high heels. Thank you for sharing with us.
tallguyinheels Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Well done Happyfeat... I really like the last one, you need a wide red belt to match the leggings, though. Here is today's outfit, the slightly tailored black skirt I mentioned a post or two back, coupled with patent 5" seduce boots and a patent belt along with a blue/black plaid XXTall shirt I wear.
Dawn HH Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Tallguyineels:-) A very elegant look I''d say. Thanks for sharing. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
muddypaws Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 You really do have style. I love the look of the red ones. Magic! Muddypaws
HappyFeat Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Recently, I bought this long top while consignment shopping. When I tired it on, I thought it was a dress, but it is just a tad too short. I loved it and figured that it would be nice to wear with leggings, but think it can be a little more versatile. It is nylon and the label is Chicos. I have thrown together a few outfits with it, but would love some ideas on how to accessorize or make the best use of it. Thanks. #1 - Top with black leggings and calf length black boots #2 - Top with black leggings and tall black boots #3 - Top with black stirrup pants (yes, I know) and black pumps #4 - Top with brown leggings and brown pumps #5 - Top with boot cut jeans and caramel slingbacks Style is built from the ground up!
Mr. X Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 They all look good Happy but I think I like the jeans one the best.
Bubba136 Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 how about adding a belt on a couple and a nice scarf around your neck? I like the pumps with the pants. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

Favourite for me has to bee No. 3, but then the last one with the jeans and brown heels and little built in platform.
RonC Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I think the jeans look best. Second would be the lggings without stirrups.
Henri Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I think #4 is the best suited. I love the pumps with the brown leggings. #3 and #5 are too shabby either. Henri If you haven't learned something new today; you have wasted the day.
