jeremy1986
They look great - I love heels with sippers in the back. and that platform must make them very comfy to wear. They look especially good with the skinny jeans - good job! 1
Sydheel
I did mention that I got a few pairs of shoes So here is the 2nd new purchase Steve Madden black suede ankle boots 14cm heel, 3cm platform, size 11, The outer is black suede whilst the heel and platform are both gloss black creating a nice look. They are the very first pair I have by Steve Madden and the size 11 fits nicely, good length and wider then most other 11s in the toe area. Even my slightly wider left foot is comfy. The heel height takes a bit of getting used to, but is very solid, with no wobble in the heel. 5 Regards James

jeremy1986
These are great booties, James. The finish looks top quality, and as you say, the contrast between the suede and the shiney heel definitely add extra interest. Glad they are such a great fit! How much did you pay for these babies? Cali
Nice booties. Interesting, I wonder if Steve Madden will carry them this fall in the USA. I wonder if we see the same shoes.

Hi @Cali I got them from an auction site and would guess they are 4-5 years old, so unlikely that you will see them On 6/1/2018 at 5:38 PM, jeremy1986 said: These are great booties, James. Sydheel
Went into WANTED shoes yesterday and tried on the SIREN 'posse' boots in black leather. They have an interesting flat type heel that is 9cm. I have been tossing up whether to get this in the black (which is after all a little more wearable day to day) or the Red patent. Theyre both on special at moment from $249 to $120 Edited June 6, 2018 by Sydheel 2 Regards James
nzfreestyler
Nice boots! Definitely black I think. More versatile - and red patent in a boot is pretty out there....
Cali
Try bargaining for two for $200. It sometimes works.

As for the colour black is a safe and goes along with everything. The red patent is bit much, if the red colour was like the one pictured below matte finish would be a good fashion bootie. I like the white bootie myself stands out trendy colour for the much of the year. Paired with black leggings the booties would stand out. Bowie chalk kid look appealing but size 10 is way to small for metal heel stiletto for me if they came in larger size i would buy them. Pointed toe metal heel can only imagine the fashion possiblities i would style with... Edited June 6, 2018 by MackyHeels

If you wanted to wear a bold red ankle boot I would suggest it would be best with fitted pants/denim skinnies - and these would be best with a pointy toe boot. If you want a bright shoe - I would suggest a pump because they are more versatile as can be worn as you do in these pics as well as on their own (an ankle boot can be very hard to coordinate because it bold cuts a line at the wearers ankles - it shortens the leg. Regardless - that is a nice looking ankle boot - I just fear a bright pair could be hard to coordinate and get the maximum pleasure from wearing them.

Sydheel
finally my last new pair of boots, second hand actually, as I bought them on ebay. Country Road brand which is a high end brand making top quality clothing and shoes. This pair of boots has a block heel 9.5cm and is all leather inside and out, elastic sides, in a mid grey and like most Country Road shoes, slightly wider than the norm so they fit beautifully. They were an expensive purchase at $30, but these boots were likely $300-350 when new so Im really happy 7 Regards James
Shyheels
Very nice boots indeed. I am familiar with Country Road from many years ago - I didn't know they did boots. Those are really quite classy. And what a bargain! How nice it must be to be able to find boots like that in your size.

Sydheel
Just out for a coffee and snack in Kings Cross Cafe strip Wearing my NineWest ankle boots and jeggings. Over time I have become far more adept at these heels. I had 3-4 pairs of heels that were in the 11-12 cm range which was right on the limit, but over time I can wear them and walk in them much better. My ankle must be improving its range slightly. Have a great day 6 Regards James

Sydheel
Hi all Even though its mid winter here (not really cold compared to some parts of the world) My toe was hurting so I decided to spend the day in open toe sandals and leggings The shoes are a platform sandal from one of the cheap imported makers (Pied A Tierre) here in Aus, but surprisingly well made and robust. 13cm heel, 2.5 cm platform in a nude synthetic leggings / jeggings from MYER Have a great day 5 Regards James

I dropped in there today on the last day of trade and everything is silly prices New shoes and boots 5 pair for $100, or $30 each I found both the Siren Posse boots in black leather and Ruby Patent in my size, so instead of $249 each about 4 weeks ago. I got them both for $30 each I am calling that a bargain !! 4 Regards James
Cali
Great work there James. Its always nice to find great shoes at reasonable prices. But another 3 pairs was only $40 more.
