Robert Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Saw these in the Bootshop for Women at Nordstrom's Boots, fascinating footwear http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i103/Boots_1956/
raccoon Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Saw these in the Bootshop for Women at Nordstrom's <pic of ugly boot> You can tell by the string this must be a "one size fits all" model!
JeffB Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Good Lord! Who in their right mind, regardless of their gender would wear such hideous looking things on the street? Or on the moon for that matter? And I'll bet the damn things probably cost a fortune to boot! YUCK!!! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
Robert Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 They cost ++drumroll++ $135.00 Boots, fascinating footwear http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i103/Boots_1956/
JeffB Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 They cost ++drumroll++ $135.00 Yoiks! And I'm sure there's some knuckleheads out there with more money than sense who'll actually buy a pair of those things! P.T. barnum was right, there IS a sucker born every minute! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
BobHH Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Look like they were left over from the Apollo moon program. Maybe NASA wants to rake in a few dollars?
nhoj62 Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 urgh... yuck.... nasty.. i feel sick... hides under table... is it over yet?, i can`t take much more!, they are just too ugly! nhoj62 (feeling abit ill after reading thread) the higher the boot, the higher the heel, the better the feeling!
Bubba136 Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 They look like avalanche boots to me. The type of boots you want to be wearing when they dig you out from being burried by an avalanche. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Rob Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 I hate to bring this thread back, but I saw these on the Pleaser link given in the other thread: :x
ShockQueen Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 I hate to bring this thread back, but I saw these on the Pleaser link given in the other thread: :x This is a 70's vision of 21st century fashion. Someone should have told the designer that :drinking: SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
JeffB Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 This is a 70's vision of 21st century fashion. Someone should have told the designer that :drinking: Are you kidding? Someone should've thrown said designer into the nearest gulag and thrown away the key!!! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
TXT-1 Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 forget the gulag, stick him in an Iron Maiden (apart from being one of the world's best Heavy Metal Bands!, an "Iron Maiden is a coffin with spike mounted on the inside of the lid and the lid is hinged so that when the door is closed the victim is impaled on the spikes ouch! ) seriously though folks this was post was a history lesson so no putting anyone in an iron maiden ok! later, TXT-1
chris100575 Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Where do you think the band got their name? Those shoes are pretty nasty, but I think the iron maiden should be reserved for some of the other designers whose works have appeared. I recommend a couple of hours in Skevington's daughter to think about what they've done! Chris
tightlevisandhhboots Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Those shoes definitely do NOTHING for me... tightlevisandhhboots
sscotty727 Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Ok, not sure these are "ugly" shoes, but they are definitely "different". On sale at Ebay here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=63889&item=5340440413&rd=1
Nova Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Ohhh, no... those are definitely ugly. If all the world's a stage, I want to operate the trap door.
Bubba136 Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 they remind me of the pony hoofs that someone posted a few months back. However, I found these on ebay. They are also "different. " Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
ShockQueen Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 " OMG! It's the crossdresser ELF SHOE! BWAAAHHHH!!!! SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
TXT-1 Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 looks like Santa had a brain fart of astronimical proportions.... agree with you there ShockQueen! if we show anymore ugly shoe pics people will want to sergically remove their eyes! later, TXT-1
BobHH Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 I don't know that these are particularly awful, but they sure are different. From ForPlay.
Guest Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 ^are those suction cups on the bottom? I don't know what's going on with these shoes...
jo Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 See also: http://www.villagevoice.com/issues/0047/taormino.php Those shoes by John Fleuvog are actually quite nice. I regularly used to see a lady wearing something similar while out shopping. The heels were very high. I gotta feeling they were not a closed shoe that she had, but can't remember if it was mules or boots. It is 4 or 5 years ago perhaps.
Guest Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 eBay seller Jenniewren4you... she sells some nice shoes in larger sizes link to her store She's got sandals, pumps, platforms... something for everybody in her store, then she manages to somehow sneak these monstrosities in: HELLLLLLLP!!!
gary0618 Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 These Boots are actually available on Amazon.com I guess Halloween is Closer than I thought. http://www.amazon.com/371-JOY-Faux-Suede-Knee-Green/dp/B000SQRN0G/ref=sr_1_461/102-9785623-6180939?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1186006330&sr=1-461 FLAT SHOES, LIKE FLAT DRINKS, ARE FOR FLAT PEOPLE
gary0618 Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I like a lot of boots. But these ????????? FLAT SHOES, LIKE FLAT DRINKS, ARE FOR FLAT PEOPLE
jmc Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I like a lot of boots. But these ????????? I like the heels but the toes look like orthopedic build-ups. Yep, they're bad! Have a happy time!
JeffB Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I like a lot of boots. But these ????????? Regarding those boots, I can only ask one question: WTF???? Seriously butt-ugly!!! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
ShockQueen Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Uhhhh........I like the style of the heel, but that's about it. The front is trying to hide the platform too much, making a really UGG-ly style. SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
ChipsHH Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Well, I guess I'm the one bringing this back. But....anyone else care to show some new ugly, terrible shoes? I think some have arisen over the months. I just don't know which ones. Formally "HHDude"
