These are the last 3 pairs that i bought, all fit very well.

I just LOVE the shoes in the first pic. As a recent convert to wedges, those shoes are seriously HOT! Bravo on your purchase!

Steve Maddens. 20$ USD! Brand new from Burlington Coat Factory. US10 They fit really well! Easy to get on and off, dont have to use my hands at all/no bending over!

Brand : Guess. US10. 20$ at the same place ( Burlingtons ). Wore these out to a friends place a week ago. Very comfortable and for having a bow on them, I think they look ' ok ' with what I was wearing ( Harem pants ).

This is the real kicker. The 2 pair of heels were bought for when I was feeling up to going out for a stroll or when Im more mobile. This pair of flats was bought so I would have something simple to walk around in. The problem is..

Posted Image

They are ' scrunchy ' on their backs and I have to use a finger to put them on.. but I cant really reach my feet to well..

They are Aldo ' Jolene ' in US 10 and feel about a quarter size too small. I wasnt there when they were purchased so I cant blame her for the size issue but Im assuming they will eventually stretch.. I believe they were like 30$ USD.

Kinda funny actually.. I can put heels on and have no problems.. cant get on a pair of flats though.. :D

REPEATEDLY ARGUMENTATIVE, INSULTING AND RUDE. BANNED FOR LIFE.

I think I need to take a break from buying shoes for a while... in the last two weeks I bought two pairs of Brash Kosmic pumps from my local Payless... a pair in red and a pair in black. Not sure I have enough inner diva to pull off the silver though...

A few new pairs: bebe karissa 10M; bought at Burlington Coat Factory for about $27. Zigi Soho Kiera 11M; DSW, $11. The rest are Same Edelman Yasmine in 12M (purple suede, black suede and black leather), DSW, $27-35. The 12's are as loose as the size 11M is tight. Any ideas on how to reduce the slippage while wearing?

Nice selection inquisitor, I may get flamed for saying this but my favourites are the second pair, the Zigi Soho Kiera - despite the platform and chunkier heel I think they look very elegant with a funky touch. I once bought a pair of wedges that were slipping a little at the back and my solution was to use gel inserts under the ball of each foot which improved the fit and made them super-comfortable to wear. Some of yours look like they have quite a gap at the back so perhaps heel grip inserts might be better, but I have no experience of those.

If you like it, wear it.

I love the black suede and black leather pumps, both of which look positively dynamic! Bravo on your purchases!

Inquisitor, I think it will spend more time, energy and money trying to find a way to avoid slippage. (out of my own experience). With time and wear the shoes can only do one thing : strech even more. It is going to get worse. My humble advice : return the 12M that do not fit, and forget about them. If you are absolutely fond of this shoes, exchange them for the 11M. Then use wood stretchers or take them to a cobbler for stretching. Don't mind trying them right in the cobbler's store and having strech them more if required.

Picked these up yesterday at a thrift shop. The brand is "Spring". Not sure what model. The heel is chunkier and measures around 4 1/2". They are showing a little wear and tear, but they still have a lot of life left in them. And the best part is they only cost me $12! Can't wait to take them on an outing!

The Pleasers arrived yesterday, I must admit I'm really surprsied by just how different they are to walk around in than the boots. I'm struggling with them, not the narrower and higher heel, I'm finding them painful on the soles of my feet after just a few minutes, whereas with the boots I could wear them all day. I picked up a pair of those gel insoles to try but it wasn't the result I was looking for. Any advice on how to adjust or is it just a matter of persisting?

Great experience in the store; She was very accomodating, an was reassuring in my nervousness (although I don't show nerves like most people); I become more reserved the more nervous I become. She even offered that I try them on (not quite there, guys).

I haven't seen a great pair of shoes that I can wear at thrift store yet...still looking, though. Nice find.

Thanks! They are actually shorter boots though! I posted them in the wrong forum.

I purchased a new pair of heels several weeks ago and just got around to posting some pics. They (almost) match the pair I got for my fiancee'. The only difference is that hers are 5" and mine are 6". The difference in shoe size makes them feel about the same height.
