There was another sighting yesterday (friday) around lunchtime at that same mall that I keep hanging out. I was going to the men's section at a department store when I heard that distinct sound of stiletto heels on a hard floor. A beautiful woman, in her early 20's, was wearing a black knee length skirt, black fishnet stockings, and black 4.5" stiletto heel pumps. There was an exit by the men's section, she left and I admired her from a large picture window. She walked down the sidewalk, jaywalked across the street. and entered the employee's entrance of an upscale department store, Nordstroms. Nordstroms is the northwest U.S. version of Saks, Macy's, and Bloomingdales. Dan

Took another trip up to the Brmingham Bizarre Bazaar yesterday. Not as many there as normal, being the east weekend, but still any number of 4" stilettos on show. Most notable were the organisers wife, wearing a playboy bunny outfit with white stockings and 5.5" white stiletto courts, one woman wandering around in a pair of 6" thigh high lace up boots (she was about a size 5) and another who had on a pair of Jante red strap sandals with an 8" heel and 3" platform. Noticable that the shoe stall there had as many men visitors trying on shoes as woman.

I'd feel very uncomfortable if a complete stranger was taking sneaky photographs of my legs or feet for their own personal gain. It feels kinda creepy that there are people out there doing that sort of thing

Where in the UK do you take your photos, streetheels? Maybe Becky will feel less unnerved if she knows you don't take photos near her! SH

I wonder what people do with your picture that you've posted in your profile (on spin)??????

There's a big difference between posting a pic in a profile and wondering if there's a complete stranger just a few feet away from you taking a photograph of your legs and feet with a digital camera. No on know's where I am on the internet, but the above is too real for me!! Maybe there are men out there who don't know where the line is drawn and could step over it by taking their fetish further - and that is a scary thought. Put yourself in a woman's position - you're at a bus stop all alone except for someone lurking a few feet behind you secretly fumbling with a camera. Being a woman walking alone can be scary on times without the thought of this. Maybe you guys should try dressing as a woman and walking alone down a road or waiting by yourself at a bus stop - then tell me what you think.

Don't be too paranoid, The difference between a camera, a gun or knife is still pretty obvious and the man only makes pictures of feet and shoes, the rest remains hidden so I don't think privacy breach is a problem. PS: As a man living on heels (sometimes even in drag mode), I know what exposure and vulnarability means and I think I'm even more a target as any real girl or women.

Hey Becks, I'm with you! But, vulnerability is vulnerability. As they say, be careful, it's a zoo out there! Yesteday, while I was shopping at a nearby Lowe's garden center, I learned that, just before I got there, a young lady had been acosted in the parking lot by a couple of nasty thugs that hijacked her car. She got away by tossing her keys at the guys and running back into the store when they stopped to pick them up. (The police caught the guys, by the way).

Highluc - please don't patronise me by saying "Don't be too paranoid, the difference between a camera, a gun or knife is still pretty obvious and the man only makes pictures of feet and shoes, the rest remains hidden so I don't think privacy breach is a problem". I'm well aware of the 'obvious' differences between a camera, gun or knife - are you aware that when you take a photograph of someone the copyright of that photograph belongs to that person? You cannot defend or condone people who stalk women who wear high heeled shoes and skirts in public so that they can take photographs for their personal gain. What do you expect women to do Highluc - wear higher heels and shorter skirts, and just put up with it so that these people can feed their obsession? Second thoughts - don't answer it!!

Hmm, I saw recently that someone got a loong time in jail for having a hidden camera in a holdall, and taking pictures up womens skirts in supermarkets and such places. To an outsider, photographing peoples shoes without their knowledge isn't too far removed from that. A jury would find the explanation of just photographing the shoes, a minor detail, and may just assume that you were actually trying to do the former. I'd say that doing this stuff is taking quite a risk. It could go horribly wrong.

I never even took pictures of stranger's shoes but can't defend myself against the jury anymore because I was silenced in the discussion.

Pictures of shoes Vs pictures up the skirt of panties/none at all? Hmmmmmm... I think if you just do the shoes, there is no way that you can be convicted. When it comes to taking pictures on somebody’s exterior looks. They have very little right to privacy in public "except in a changing room or a bathroom, something like that" But up the skirt? Yea I would convict the person. I am quite sure it might happen that it ends up in court, but come on!! You might walk pass a hundred security cameras in a day with out knowing it. Who said no security guard has not focused on somebody’s shoes? I doubt they got fired for it. He might have been looking for a “stiletto” tucked in a pair of knee high boots!!!

Why not just ask the girl/lady in question if you can take the picture? The worst she can do is say "Hell NO! What are you some kind of Pervert?" at the top of her voice.

I had an American woman ask to take my picture a couple of months ago. Since she was polite and didn't appear to be a gutter press paparazzo, I was quite happy to oblige.

There are a lot of sites on the internet that post pictures of women wearing high heels. Wonder why anyone wants to surreptitiously take pictures of shoes in the first place?

My g.friend was wearing her 6 inchers today and was stopped in the middle of our walk together by a tourist who asked to take a picture of her. When he focused his lense, he took nothing but pictures of her feet and shoes. I was shocked. They are lovely shoes and she looks great. What a thing to happen. Anyone else ever had anything like it happen?

Well, this is quite a discussion that I have missed. I'd just like to say the following... I only take images of shoes. The whole taking upskirt pictures is severly crossing the line. Rest assured that you will never see images like that from me. You'll notice that nearly all my images are taken in public places with lots of people around. I don't want to unerve some lady who's out by herself. My entire approach is to not to be noticed at all so loitering around lone women is not acceptable to me. Before I put the site up I did do some research into the content I had planned for it. If you take a picture of a person in the street the copywright does not belong to the person who appears in the image. It is the persons who took the image. The only way this could be challenged by the person in the image is if the featured person has copywrighted their likeness. Only big league celebs tend to do this. Now to be honest this is beside the point as I ensure anyone in the image (featured person or people in the background) are made unrecognisable. In the event of someone seeing an image they are featured in recognise themselves, then if they are not happy then I would remove the image and apologise. My wife knows of the site as she was the first person I showed the first pages and images to. I did this as I needed to know how she as a woman would react. If she had said that it was wrong or unacceptable the site would not be there now. As it turned out she was fine with it. The main point for her being okay with it was that I had protected the peoples identities in the images. As a further test of a womens reactions, the images ped104.jpg and ped105.jpg are of a friend of mine. It took me several attempts to convince her that it was her in the images. When she accepted it she was pretty cool about it as she was not recognisable. To be honest she was well impressed at the fact that she was on the WWW as she put it. To answer some questions that have been raised in the forum. Azraelle says why don't I ask the womenif I can take the image and clearly points out with the line "Hell NO! What are you some kind of Pervert?" that some ladies would not be happy about this. Now imagine if I did ask and it freaked the person out. It could cause them to become paranoid about something that they had never even thought about. By doing what I'm doing they don't know and in the image they are not recognisible so no harm done. Bubba136 asks why would I want to take images of ladies shoes whn there's lots on the web already. To be honest I don't find the pre setup images of ladies wearing high heels very appealing. Most of the images are tied in with pornography which is not what I'm after. I like high heeled shoes and none of my images contain nudity and I prefer it that way. As I mention on the site I find it more appealing that the people in the images on my site choose to wear high heels as their own preference. Becky has some good points. She is not comfortable of the idea of someone taking images secretly of her shoes nor does she like the idea of someone lurking around her taking pictures. As I mentioned earlier I only take images in public places with lots of people around. I appreciate that there are people who would not be happy about a stranger taking pictures in secret but If you are not aware that they are being taken then no harm has been done. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying the not knowing that they are being taken does not make it all right. I accept that some people would not be happy at all and if this results in me getting a smack or an angry boyfriend/husband after me then that's fine. I can expect no less. I know I've been going on for quite a while but I wanted to get my views across and hopefully I have eased some concerns. If you have any queries then please ask away. To be honest, of all the feedback I've received, this is the first negative feedback and it's very welcome. It's the entire reason why I posted the site into the forum. Anyways that's me for now. streetheels

I agree that most of the pictures on the Web are related to pornography. Nothing wrong with pornography if that's what you want, but I find pictures of shoes/heels much more attractive if in a more realistic or normal setting, particularly outdoors, on the street, etc. You can concentrate on the shoes themselves, plus the common combining with pornography tends to give a bad rep to the "exotic dancer" styles. See, they are even described that way.

Interesting one Streetheels - maybe it was you who stopped my g.friend the other day then? Who ever it was spent a good 3-4 minutes snapping away with their camera. It felt a little awkward. She could not just walk away. If anyone sees those pictures, let me know - she was wearing her white 6 inch heels (you cannot miss them) - they are similar to the super-arch heels currently being sold in Archenemys. She is blonde, slim and tall and we were standing infront of a bookshop called Waterstones (UK based). Let me know if anyone sees those pics. You never know???

Here's a sighting, and I know the lady. I took the day off and my friend Dottie (she considers me to be a "butch" girlfriend) dropped in for coffee after lunch. In spite of the warm weather she had on a beautiful pair of knee-high leather boots with slender 3 1/2 inch heels. There were 2 inch wide buckled straps at the tops. I had a perfectly normal and very obvious "male reaction". Dottie said "Shame on you, what would Kathy think?" I replied that I am Kathy's exclusive "property" now, but I am still very much a man!

Well, OK, I'm not a woman, but I think I'd be quite flattered that someone had taken a flattering picture of my shoes! I was complemented on my shoes once, and that was a major boost to the ego (not that my ego needs boosting, mind  )!

At the moment I'm working on some additional galleries for streetheels part of which is a Guest gallery. This will include images taken by other fans of high heels in the street. I have had a few submissions already that are really cool and I would like to ask if anyone else would like to submit any pictures. There are however some restrictions. These are... No pornography. No images of upskirts etc. Images of adults only. Persons within the images are to be made unrecognisable. Basically the Guest gallery will feature of images from around the world. For more info visit streetheels.co.uk and check out the news page. Now, as I am requesting images from visitors from High heel meeting place I feel it is only fair that I include a link to this website. Thanks streetheels

I have a camera phone, so if I get any photos I'll send them over. All I need to do now is work out how to turn the stupid sound off

I've got a camera phone too, as far as I can see the sound can't be turned off. Prolly so users can't take sneaky snaps without people knowing. I've got a GD87 by the way.

Mine's a nokia. I know it can be done, because my brother has the same phone and he's managed it. Perhaps I'll have to (shudder) read the manual  !

Saw a women with great boots in the Boston airport last week. She was on the same flight to DC as I was. She was wearing boots with a thin blade heel, the kind that narrows down on the bottom, almost like a stilleto. Must have been 5 inch. The boots looked like they were the jeans fabric, which I am usually not crazy about, but these looked great on her. I could not keep my eyes of her ... Yum yum
