My 1,000th post...

My 1,000^th post.  Wow, it only took 15 ½ years.. 

When I “stumbled” across this site in 2002, I was elated to find someplace where like-minded folks could gather and exchange ideas.  And it has been a wonderful experience.  I am a straight, married guy with kids who, for my entire life, has always liked ladies shoes and sandals.  And to this day, I still do not know why, but I just do.  I knew that there had to be at least one other guy out “there” that felt as I do, and the discovery of this site allowed me to realize that I was not alone. 

As a teen and young man I wore gals flats, but in 1996 I “jumped the shark” and got hooked on high heels.  Being out in public in ladies high heels was, to say the least nerve wracking, but with the support of an understanding and loving wife, coupled with the interaction at this site has made my venture into high heels an enjoyable experience. 

Looking back, I hope some of my posts expressing my experiences, frustrations and successes in wearing high heels has been helpful, and maybe even entertaining to some. 

I don’t claim to be an expert; and I certainly don’t have all the answers, but I am very happy that I have found this site and been allowed to contribute over all these years!  Thank you...

This certainly is a friendly and inclusive site and I know I have certainly enjoyed participating here, and benefitted from it, although I’ve not been involved nearly as long as you have. 

Your posts are always interesting. Nice that there are 1000 of them now!

Congratulations on the 1000. If you joined in 2002 that must make you one of the earliest members.

I've been here since 2006 and have a few hundred posts.

Congrats on the milestone. I've certainly enjoyed your posts, and I hope you'll go for 2000! No reason to stop now!

Our tastes are similar and I usually admire the shoes you wear. One of these days I hope we can meet in person. And keep your wife happy!

Wow! 1,000 posts! That means you are obligated to take at least 1,000 steps per day in high heels, right? Congratulations!

Congrats on your milestone!  I know I haven’t participated as much as I use to in this board, but when I see posts like this, it makes me feel like I need to pull my weight (or is it height? Lol).  Anyways, congrats again!

I also joined in 2002, but took several years' 'holiday' from the site. Sadly some of the most inspiring people, of both sexes, have gone, but there's plenty of fresh blood.

You made me check where I stood.  Joined in January 2002 and I have 902 posts to date.  Maybe by my 20th year, I'll hit 1,000 as well!

You can do it
