jetheelsfan
http://www.usatoday.com/experience/weekend/lifestyle/whats-behind-shoe-obsessions/19731341/ Little late in the week to read last Sunday's paper but the cover on the weekend feature magazine grabbed my interest. Surprised no one else noticed at this later date. Just read the atical after posting - the "typical" information that tells one that some women really like shoes ans some are not that interested in them - still what I call the "shoe gene" - whether it is female or not; but I think both can be carriers of it. The shoe quiz as "interesting" but not overthe top. Just a bit higher to to delight - low enough for healthy foot comfort and great beginning. Thighbootguy
OMG I came up as sneakers. I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
Bikergoth
Haha! 31% Boots, 26% Sandals - (which is slightly worrying...), 24% High heels, 13% Sneakers & 4% flats Apparently I'm sturdy & dependable but still have enough sass to know when to make a big investment. That was fun!
Pumped
Sandals? I hate sandals! High heels 2%? I would wear stiletto pumps until my feet fell off! Stupid quiz!!

Histiletto
The quiz didn't even come close to depicting the footwear I want to be known by. Too many variables had to be assumed from the choices presented and the author of the quiz didn't define each selection from their perspective. For all I know this quiz was to find out what the cereal called "Grape Nuts" by Post Foods taste like.By the way, is there really any difference between an obsession and a fetish for high heels, other than the fact men supposedly can't be obsessive over them and women usually don't have to exercise their shoe fetishism because they already wear them? Heelster
Well that survey wasn't much use. If I could have said "none of the above" maybe I could have been a bit honest. Came up BOOTS - - - go figure.
Shafted
I never even considered such surveys even worth my time. They are like most magazine surveys, total BS. Shafted, the boots that is! SleekHeels
The quiz scored me 35% boots and 3% heels. If I'm honest I think that does reflect my mostly "sturdy and dependable" character, but it does overlook the fact that people who enjoy wearing heels aren't all completely outrageous extrovert party-animals caught in a hedonistic whirlwind of moral abandon! A lot of people wear heels to add a spark of excitement, glamour and style to an otherwise more moderate lifetyle. If you like it, wear it. inquisitor
Said I was sneakers. 11% high heels 5% flats 2% sandals 37% boots 44% sneakers Would be fine, except the results are pretty much the inverse of my shoe collection: 44% are heels, 37% are flats, 11% are boots, 5% are sneakers, and 2% are sandals. DPO
Came up as boots 28% with high heels 26% as a very close second. Flats came up as 20%. Fairly accurate for myself. It was fun.
