DanielP6406:-) A very nice pair of boots. I like the ruched look and the buckles on top. A great look for you. Any chance of a pic with you in them when they arrive? Cheers--- Dawn HH

DanielP6406, I purchased the same style last October in an Aldo store and wore them out of the store. I bought the Arns in cognac and they are one of my most comfortable and enjoyable boots to wear. I also had a fun time trying them on in the store with the store manager.:) Best to you on your new purchase, Gary.

I know: I said that I would not buy any more boots this year...

Ah, don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Nice boots!

Thank you all for the replies !

Dawn HH :-)

I don't understand the "ruched look" expression: Can you please explain ?

I will post a picture wearing them for sure.

InKHBoots :-)

Thank you for your positive review on the Aldo's Arns boots and welcome to this forum !

Now I can't wait to see if they are as comfortable as you say they are.

I will wear them out of the store for sure.

They have style and, providing they aren't too narrow, you should be able to walk all day in them. Good choice. Xa

I also wore them out of the store over my jeans. (Same as picture below)

This time I got many heads turns :)

DanielP6406:-) The wrinkled slouched design down the shafts of the boot is sometimes known as the rusched look. InKHboots:-) Welcome to the HH Place Form. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Thanks for the pic, Diablo! Nice looking boots. The cuff at the top makes them attractive for wearing over your trousers or with a short skirt. :)

I bought a pair of unlisted boots that look like a guys pair of wing tips but have a stilletto heel on them.

Diablo:-) Thats a great pair of boots for you. I prefer the turned down buccaneer style top. It also reminds me of the tall boots that the 3 Mussciteers, (spelling) wore. "All for one and one for all". Sounds like the members of HH Place. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Got some new boots I want to try and go heeling in!

Recently I got something rather similar. They are quite comfortable.

I use them around the house though. They are very friendly for the neighbors

because they don't make much noise.

Y.

Raise your voice. Put on some heels.

I only got them a couple of days ago, and poped out in them once, they are nice and quite, and look kinda like guys shoes with a long pair of jeans.

I'm thinking of going for a quick walk tonight once it gets a little quite.

Hi all, Just received my first pair of Leather thigh high boots. They are Red Leather Pleaser 8899's from Beston Shoes. The feel great on my legs and fit like a glove. I also love the colour. Considering I only paid around $70, I was pleasantly surprised at the leather quality. Beston shoes (Ebay Store) were brilliant! I ordered them and received them within a week. Pretty damn quick for US to Australia shipping. Hope you like the pics!

Well, I sure did! Most impressive boots there, my friend!

I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!

Wow!! What great boots. Talk about eye catching -- red does it every time. You'll have every dingo dog for miles around howling "I want a pair" if you wear them in public :P:sad: Please let us know what reaction you get when you walk into your local pub. :)

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Yeah Bubba the red sure does stand out. I'm usually into more subtle colours but I was feeling daring and decided to buy the red. One thing I have found is that they are really comfortable to walk in as they have a thin padded innersole. Since I love taking pics and clips of my boots I've decided to set up a flickr site to show them off. Initially it will have friends access only and I will only post the link in the personal members website section on this forum to make sure that people who want to see them are fellow heel lovers.
