zebra heels Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I love UGGs on girls or on me they are very very comfortable.
Bad_Robot Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I think that Uggs are ok, they serve a very good purpose in providing comfortable footwear, and you can't hold Uggs responsible for the less agreeable copies that have been made and pervade the high street in vast numbers.
Hiline Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 The real ones look ok but the £10 knock offs look like errrr £10 knock offs. But i cant stand those knitted style ones. Wearing shoes that look like some1's gran has knitted them has never really done much for me........
Dawn HH Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Uggs---Hate them. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
devab Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Hate them. Not just because they're flats and we're posting on a high heel themed forum, but they're just plain UGGly. http://www.devab.us
Dawn HH Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I agree. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
HHLover Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Me too. I really hate them. I think they are so unattractive.
5150PLB1 Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Very comfortable and ugly always seems to go hand in hand- or in this case foot in boot.
JeffB Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I also hate 'em, but I wish I had stock in the company that makes 'em because I'd be raking in money hand over fist because of how popular they are. During the height of winter, I'd say that three out of every five females I'd see, either on the street or in malls were wearing the damn things. And I don't think the Ugg fad is going to end anytime soon. I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
benno Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Just be glad people have the choice to wear whatever they want to. Can we please stop moaning about UGGs.
Rockpup Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 They can be ok, but I prefer the old Tecnica Moonboots (formerly known as "JimC")
Booted Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I love them, most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Can't beat them on a cold winter day.
danielp6406 Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Hmmm...I don't have any clue what type of shoes "UGGs" are.... Is "UGGs" a brand name ? Anyone can post a picture or a URL link so I can see ?
Amanda Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Ugh, I wouldn't even let anybody into my house who was wearing them. I think they're almost as bad as Crocs.
JP92 Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Hmmm...I don't have any clue what type of shoes "UGGs" are.... Is "UGGs" a brand name ? Anyone can post a picture or a URL link so I can see ? http://www.uggs-n-rugs.com.au/hi-boot.html
raymond.nl Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Also from UGG, and with a somewhat high heel: http://www.bookofjoe.com/images/2007/11/03/hipij.jpg and http://www.ugg2u.net/images/UGG%20Caroline/Caroline%20cigar.jpg
JohnCinheels Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 i consider myself to be in the so ugly im cute category, kinda like a rottweiler, but i wouldnt be caught dead or a live in boots like uggs. they are tooo ugggggggllllllyyyyyyyy for me life is short, heels are high, live it up!
danielp6406 Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 http://www.uggs-n-rugs.com.au/hi-boot.html Thank you JP92 for the link :-) I saw those boots before but didn't know they were called "UGGs". They look comfortable and warm but I don't like the style at all. (In fact they got no style...Just my opinion) I prefer the boots with heels we see on the link posted by raymond.nl
JP92 Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 I thing you are right, surely warm and comfortable, but not what i prefer, because of the shape, and also because of no heels... I really prefer the boots shown by RAYMOND.NL may be with a little bit higher heels... but they are very nice.
at9 Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Sombody loves them a bit too much. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_yorkshire/8095635.stm
Bubba136 Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 different things amuse different minds. (What can I say except there have been some really "weird" fetishes reported in the newspapers, lately. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
chris100575 Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I hate them. They look foul, especially when the wearer is walking off the side of the sole which seems to happen a lot. I would like to see the world's UGG boots stacked in a heap and set on fire, although I'd want to stand up-wind. Maybe I could use Crocs to light the fire with...
Elegant Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I may dislike them. What is good for a goose, can be good for any gender!
Bluegrassptp Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I would not recomend UGGS to a barefooted eskimo!!!! The CROCS are even worse. I have been Banned for emailing abuse to tech when he tried to help me.
Dawn HH Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Chris100575:-) Lighting a stack of Ugg boots with some Crocs sounds like a great idea to me. I'll provide the matches, by the way. TEE! HEE! Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
danielp6406 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 What is causing less damage to the environment ? Burning them, putting them directly in the trash or recycling ? The croc's are make of plastic so I would choose to recycle them into shopping bags. The UGGs should be recycled into sleeping mats for dogs and cats ... ( I really don't like them isnt-it ? )
Bad_Robot Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Just be glad people have the choice to wear whatever they want to. Can we please stop moaning about UGGs. How can anybody have the spare emotional energy to hate an inanimate object? They are just boots....no need to hate them....just embrace them as part of the diverse range of styles that are constitute footwear. And please....stop moaning on about Uggs
chrisr Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Well I love mine - wear them nearly all the time. Ok, they don't look great, but they are certainly comfy.
PatentHeel Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Like other footwear, with Uggs I think it all depends on what you wear with them. I was never a lover of Uggs really until I saw someone wearing a black pair with some black cropped leggings and a smart and stylish vest dress. I ended up buying a similar black pair. Of course that is just my opinion.
