post-1036-0-17900500-1346093267_thumb.jp here is one I taken last week, one of the first days to wear my knee highs out side my boots. i didnt quite like the over all look in so much as the trousers tend to bulk up above the knees post-1036-0-54245400-1346093427_thumb.jp The next pic was taken a week later, but i bought a pair of jeans which were a tighter fit, it was a nice spring day so better light. does the second pic look a bit like mutton dressed as lamb? at 60 yo one needs to be a wee bit careful

I like the boots. I agree with you that the second photo, with tighter fit jeans, is more fashionable. You're just a youngster at 60. Wait till you get to be my age. I'm 63. HA HA. Steve

I always like wearing pantyhose and 5 inch heels with short-shorts, or with a short skirt. I think it's because I really look good from the waist down, but really can't pass from the waist up. Wish I could, though.

Blacksheep, I think the second outfit looks very coordinated and complete, not at all mutton dressed as lamb, actually rather stylish and showing off the boots nicely. That's really one of the best blendings of "masculine/feminine" styles I've ever seen, bravo to you! The first outfit seems more of a contrast of styles, maybe because the black trousers are very baggy. An alternative might be black leggings or perhaps dark-coloured leggings and a matching wool scarf if you wanted to add a hint of colour (I'm thinking burgundy or a dark turquoise) and a slightly longer black coat (to mid-thigh) if you feel the leggings reveal too much figure around the hips.

An outfit I did with the boots in my avatar. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j78/darthraze/IMG_0490.jpg Better look at the boots http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j78/darthraze/145691365_o.jpg Also I picked up a pair of those leather look leggings. Not sure how to wear them but this is prolly my best shot so far, I'd love tips or examples. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j78/darthraze/IMG_0500.jpg

Like the look with the leggings. Try an oversized sweater with them. It is a very cozy combination that looks great on most people. Cozy is just the thing in your neck of the woods. Are those thigh high boots scrunched down? Nice! Good to see you're still with us.

Shafted, the boots that is! View my gallery here http://www.hhplace.o...afteds-gallery/ or view my heeling thread here http://www.hhplace.org/topic/3850-new-pair-of-boots-starts-me-serious-street-heeling/ - Pm me if you want fashion advice or just need someone to talk to.

well it is breast cancer awareness month

Nice pink heels, look great with your fishnet hose. That's the same color combination that I wore last Friday night on my trip to Kay's Jewelers, that I reported in my thread" Heeling with bluejay".

Once again I love that look!

Happy Heeling,

Been shopping for pink heels. Either they are sold out everywhere, or nobody stocked any. Have seen a couple pair with some pink trim, but that's it.

Just got these at Payless, they are so comfortable. I have been wearing them to work all week!

Agreed, they've fast become my favorite day to day shoe.
