Whiskey Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Hey there, Does anyone know where to get size 14 heels from? all I can find a pleaser heels, nothing wrong with them however they are basically stripper heels and I'm looking for some other brands of heels in size 14. Can anyone help me your help is appreciated.
dahool Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 That would be very difficult, mate. All you can find is either Pleaser, Highest Heel/Ellie. All of them like cheap hooker shoes
Mechanic Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Barefoot Tess has some at times. Solestruck has the Litas in the men's section up to size 13. Look under "the damned".
gallux Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I'm sorry for you, friend... I am a US12 and already have a lot of difficult to find nice quality pairs, so I can imagine your situation... the bigger the shoes are, the worse they look... I owned a Pleaser pair (my first pair btw), they are fine, but that's about it... "fine"... and they are somewhat wider than "real" women shoes (maybe because they want to target "another" audience too?). My feet are narrow, so they looked and felt really crappy on me. I lost interest quickly and sold them. One suggestion, if you like vintage looking pumps - www.classicpumps.com - they sell handmade shoes in leather in larger sizes, upon request. A bit expensive, but the quality is worth every penny. I owned a white patent pair of pumps (there are some pics in my gallery). If you want the real thing, go for it.
Whiskey Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 Thanks for all your help guys. I'm trying for a pair of boots currently and would love a pair of lita's (trying to avoid pleaser's if I can) but idk if they where ever made in size 14 :-( if not i'll be most likely buying pleaser boots in the near future Thanks mechanic I just checked out solestuck. They have the litas in size 12 mens :-):-):-):-):-) once I have the money I will definitely be ordering a pair :-) thanks again :-)

Whiskey Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 barney15c thanks all the info i really appreciate it I've found a great pair of litas with a wood heel for about the same price so i'm going with those thanks again for the links and advice
Mechanic Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I am really enjoying my Lita's. Love the look and I feel comfortable going out wearing them.
Whiskey Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 How are your lita's to walk in for long periods of time? i'm planning my first outing once i get my own pair
Mechanic Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 They're fine so far. Need a little more breaking in though. Have a museum trip next Friday to the Frist in Nashville for the Art Deco car show. That will be the big test.
Chorlini Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 fabulously fetish, burlesque blue, skyscrapers.com all sell size 14 US size shoes. Be it that they use UK sizes. Which means you should go 2 sizes smaller to a size 12 UK. 6inchheelsforever in Canada also offers size 14 US. And width selection. Which is cool as I wish this was a more common option. All fetish shoes though, as those who make more every day wear kind of shoes seem to be consider us large sizes to be too small a market or just don't care. I've purchased a lot of heeld over the years and oddly enough I found the Pleaser Domina and Dagger shoes and boots to be quite comfortable to wear. More so then shoes 2 or 3 times as expensive. So I wouldn't just diss them for being cheap Chinese made crap out of hand. Like with everything in life price is not always the best gauge to check for quality. There's no substitute for actual trial and error unfortunately.
tallguyinheels Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Occasionally Nordstrom Rack has size 14 heels - and a good selection of size 13.
bluesman Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I got a great pair of all leather Franco Sarto Tess knee high boots at Nordstrom Rack in size 13 last fall for less than $80. I regularly check the Rack stores when I'm in a city that has them, and they do have quite a selection up to size 13. "It's just a flesh wound"
RonC Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 While limited to only one style, Classic Pumps carries a very nice plain pump with 4" heel in sizes up to 15. The style is the same as shown in my avatar.
gallux Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 RonC, just as I mentioned above - these Pepe Jimenez pumps are of top quality... I had one pair of "Rossi" in 3" heels, and really enjoyed them. You won't find that quality any cheaper than that (and it is actually cheaper than the Italian Heels brand), I think the price is reasonable for what you get.
Whiskey Posted June 30, 2013 Author Posted June 30, 2013 hey does anyone know a good brand of platform boots that go to size 14? i would love a pair but not having much luck on my searches
Jkrenzer Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 That about italian highheels, try google I have a few pair from Italian Heels. They are amazingly sexy and fit very well but there is a downside in my oppinion. The leather soles are very soft and wear very rapidly, too fast for the price. They are lovely but I will need to have a sole added by a cobbler to protect my investment.
Curt Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 hi whiskey! i think pleaser have sizes up to 16 women. they have awesome boots, check them out. ashley
Gudulitooo Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 You can try Solestruck for men shoes (ask them to tell you when your size is available), and I recently found this blog I don't remember where for more stylish things.
cbrown Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 That about italian highheels, try google I've been trying to find something bigger (size 15? Still not sure...). I like what I see on their site, but may have to order something custom. Has anybody tried custom ordering from them?
clothesguy1 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 https://www.kathrynkerrigan.com/index.asp also carries larger sizes in shoes, and has good customer service.
Bubba136 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Try Sexyshoes.com. They carry sizes up to 16. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Chorlini Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Try Sexyshoes.com. They carry sizes up to 16. Seems like the same Pleaser/Ellie shoes you can basically find everywhere.
Bubba136 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 (edited) They probably are. But, when you get in to "supersized" woman's shoes, pickings are mighty slim, as they say down south. I guess the only answer to your Dilemma is to go the "custom made to measure" route which is mighty expensive. Perhaps one of our other members, Trolldeg, can offer a couple of links since he is, perhaps, one of the more knowledgable individuals on the subject of high heels. barney15c Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 These are all Mens 14 or 15 medium.... i think the LD Ava's are particulary nice. http://allheelsformen.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=AHFM&Category_Code=SSS The avas are $35 cheaper here ($110 as opposed to $145) http://pleasemeshoes.com/index.php?cPath=113_115_159 In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king!!!
Thighbootguy Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 This site appears to be collection of sellers from China. http://www.aliexpress.com Search for womens boots and the site presents a number of selection options on the left including size 14. I have no experience with any of these vendors. I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
5.5heels Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I've ordered several things from Aliexpress.com and found the suppliers to be reliable and honest with reliable (if long) shipping times... but I have found...Their sizes tend to be always on the small size. Where USA and European suppliers actual sizes can vary by a size or two, I find the asian sizes always tend to be on the smaller end of the scale and would always have to go for a size or two larger than their sizes tell me. I would always order a size, or maybe two, larger than I would from a USA or UK site. Study their size chart and actual foot length in inches or cm carefully if they list one. I find their foot lengths are generally short compared to their sizes compared to USA / UK measurements I can't guarantee the above info is correct in all cases but so far, this has been my experience - every time over several orders. Go large if in doubt. But they can be cheap and good quality when you choose wisely so I will use them again.
AZShoeNut Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Howdy, I am not sure if it has been mentioned in this thread yet or not, however, check out http://www.shoesofprey.com. You get to "design" your own shoes based upon a couple basic designs. They go up to US size 15. They are a little too pricey for me to purchase from however I find their gig to be interesting. Best,Larry Life is short... Wear the bleeping shoes!
