I think you would never ever dare to be seen in public like this, anywhere in the world, yet ignore our requests for you NOT to post these indecent images of yourself in public. Why? Do you seriously think this looks good? Honestly? What do you think the reaction would be if you were to ask this question out in public, dressed like this? Also, like I told you the first time you posted yor other filthy images here, what do you think the reaction would be from any children seeing these pictures on our website? Would you show these pictures to children? No...? Then why do you post them in public for the whole world to see? jmc
Ok, I have a mental image here. Please follow me: You have a regular, nondescript guy -- let me call him "Joe Generic" -- who has held a fascination with high heels ever since he discovered what they were. He cannot imagine what it would be like to put his feet into a pair of these wonderful creations and deep down he would like to try. Trouble is, throughout his life he has only seen women wear heels as a viable fashion alternative. The only shoes he ever finds for sale with heels higher than 1/2" are on the women's side of the shoe store and whenever he goes over to look at them he feels like all the eyes in the world are staring at him, and with disapproval. He has seen a handful of guys in heels, but only as a gag at parties, as part of a Halloween costume or as jokes on a TV sitcom. The message is clear: "Heels are for women, a guy in heels is weird." Not wanting to be branded a weirdo, he keeps his thoughts to himself. Then he gets access to the Internet and late one night, on a whim, he types "men in high heels" into a search engine. Seconds later, right there at the top of the page, he has a bunch of links to this HHplace site. He comes here and starts to look around. His eyes open wider and his pulse quickens as he realizes there are a whole lot of men all over the world who love heels, and even wear them on occasion. Some are independent and brave enough to wear them out in public, in broad daylight, in full view of the world! He makes a resolution to obtain a pair of heels for himself. He has become a heeler! He realizes he is not weird, just a little less constrained than most of the world and the realization comes as a relief! -- Now I am going to interject at this point. I would be willing to bet that 90% of our membership can identify with this story up to here. **We have all been there at some point in our lives!** As evidence, peruse the "Hellos. . ." forum, we see parallels to this story all the time. -- Now the final paragraph: In his exploration of this site, Joe Generic finds this thread and s2005kz's pictures . . . and he starts having doubts. The "weirdo" scenario raises itself in his mind again. He wouldn't get caught dead in an alley looking like that and he would be embarrassed to see another man dressed like that. Is that what we want? Have a happy time!
shrimper
Its been my experience that all criticisms and judgments have a self-directed component. Assuming that an idiot has read the intro to the site they would know what to expect and if that offended them they would choose not to participate. Preferences and the expressions thereof vary for each individual. This place was originated with the idea of the members NOT having to worry about being criticized, judged, and called names. If you are offended you are free to hit the back button and go to Disney. Now can we get back to enjoying our fetishes?

HHFanatic, this is not a website where people can just "expose" themselves. You have to show some decency and self control because this is a very public website. We dont want peoples private parts, crotches etc on show. If you wouldnt show it in the street, then dont show it here. Secondly, you show me where a woman has done this and we will deal with it, there isnt 1 law for guys and 1 for girls. We do expect a common level of decency from everybody. So for you, ANYTHING goes, as long as a persons private parts are not "hanging out"? Is that what your saying should be acceptable content on your website? Can you see where that will lead to? Oh, and his last lot of photo's did indeed have his private parts "hanging out", as it seems some have no sense of common decency. Does it mean I can not show those kind of pic`s on this forum? When I saw these pics, I still focused on the persons heels and not on whatever else he was doing or showing. For me the footwear is still in focus. Secondly I beleave Trolldeg came up good enough examples that men and women are treated different on the forum. Amanda
Having read some of the recent above postings, I found myself having to look back at the photographs once more. I didn't remember seeing anything disgusting at all when I first looked and sure enough there wasn't. I really can't understand why you're all making such a fuss. This post is in a forum dedicated to Ultra high heels and fetish things, therefore this is the sort of thing that belongs in it, surely?. It's no worse or even anything near as bad as some pop music videos that can be seen on TV. This guy is trying to express his passion for heels in a place that was designed for just that..... Ok he looks strange in my opinion but not disgusting or filthy. That's my opinion anyway.
at9
I've been following this thread and wondering what the fuss was about. I was hesitant to say anything but now Amanda has written with good sense I've looked back too and have to agree with her. I can't say I actually like those kind of OTT TV pictures but equally I can't see anything to frighten the horses. Unlike some blatant examples that I've had the misfortune to see before the mods got to them. I'm glad to say that somebody who recently posted some very explicit pictures was banned PDQ. Perhaps the OP has posted some dubious pictures previously that have needed attention from the mods and these are being conflated with the ones in this thread? Tech, For me both the picture on the links and the person showing off in this thread is within what I call acceptable in a forum like this That people do not like this kind of pics is for me understandable, but I dont understand why the feedback has to be this rude. And for me that is what is its all about, not if anyone like or dont like the pics. I also feel that people give all the all the help there is and we just give out our point of view. So I dont understand why you call it bitching about things, the bitching is the replays coming in return... As a final, I just want to ask for respect for eachother, and this forum has always been very good in that. I sure hope that will continue into the future :-)
Stilettoscot
ON a personal level, the pics aren't "my thing" in terms of style. I love the shoes, and like most, I concentrated on the shoes instead of the entire photo. Saying that, I can see both points brought up. While it is borderline in what the rules do say, and certainly not really in line of what the forum seems to be about for most, I'm not sure I see it crossing the line so to speak. I, also, am not privvy to some of his previous pics, either, so there could be a history of rule bending. If there is to be a place for these pics, this is the right section. I would hope that "regular Joe" described by JMC (to which I am) would recognise this at a seperate section designed for tastes that may not parallel his/her own. Rules are rules, however, and we all have to read and stick by them. From what I see, even though I did not linger on anything but his shoes, I don't see these particular pics "breaking" them. Just my 2c. Walking in ultra-highs because it's exciting...and it is!!
Britana
When I opened the thread, I saw the links and Amanda's "look strange" comment below, so when I looked at the pictures I had that thought in my mind. With the utmost respect to Amanda, it didn't really look strange to me. I wouldn't put myself out there like that, and would certainly see something like that on the street as "unusual," but really didn't find it odd for the forum. I also looked again after reading the thread and still reached the same conclusion. As far as kids go, I'd not want my kids anywhere on this site, and most certainly not looking at QoH or most of the pictures out here. It has nothing to do with them being offensive to mature adults, but rather that there are strong sexual connotations with many of them. There are A LOT of things I don't want my kids exposed to until they reach a more mature age, and I don’t think anyone can seriously argue that this forum is appropriate for children? I think this is like pornography; You’ll know it when you see it! There’s a clear difference of opinion across the members on these photos and, if for nothing else than the dialog, I found the post helpful. I also was glad to see the mods/admins step in and comment. As always, the folks here moved professionally and self-regulated it seems. That’s what makes this place work - for me. jo
If a whole load of inappropriate pictures have been deleted, then add a caption to the offending post itself, something like 5 images containing nudity have been deleted, then all becomes clear. It has nothing to do with them being offensive to mature adults, but rather that there are strong sexual connotations with many of them. There are A LOT of things I don't want my kids exposed to until they reach a more mature age, and I don’t think anyone can seriously argue that this forum is appropriate for children? This forum exists for the purpose of discussing shoes with high heels. Shoes are shoes, pieces of clothing just like the other stuff people hang on their bodies. There are plenty of fashion sites, and they do not constantly veer into this area of "I don't want my kids anywhere near this site". I think this is unfortunate. If people have whatever connotation, they ought to keep that stuff for themselves and not mix it in on the mainstream sites like this one. It's no secret that plenty of people come here to get their juices flowing, and I am all fine with that, but if that requires them to post things that they don't want kids to see, they should establish something with restricted access and age verification. Also, it is not fair that those with an interest in high heeled shoes and boots for the sake of looks and fashion have to keep their guard on all the time. How is it that I can go out with my kids to a shoe store and not have to worry about being exposed to stuff unsuitable for their young eyes and that here, which is an equally public place also about shoes, that becomes a problem? How come you don't see people in public getting heroin shots or having a go at it like a herd of rabbits? People have some self regulation ability. People who are supporting the posting things on a public site that they don't want their own kids to see, are more than a little short sighted. Anonymity apparently robs some of their own sense of judgement. What's all the fuss about?
