Bubba136 Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 hello friends i,m have no view men in Boot,s ohter Highheels in my Country. I am the only men in my country were go in Boot,s and Highheels. I don't believe that you are the only man in Germany that wears high heels. I can think of several others that are members of this forum, Micha for one. He has posted that he lives in the Frankfurt area. And, there are the guys at LaPizza shoes. They all wear high heels when working at their store. And, then there is Joak and Chris007. both wear heels in public in Germany. I'm sure there are others..Even, I bet our "sweet Gina" knows about some other guys in Gemany that wear them, too. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

A great guy that I hope to see again in the future.
Bubba136 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 That's a guy? Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
gary0618 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 That's a guy? Exactly what i was gonna ask ! ! But then Again, It Was New York City. FLAT SHOES, LIKE FLAT DRINKS, ARE FOR FLAT PEOPLE
Tech Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Definately doesnt look like a guy... KH: Whats with the copyright? Turns an amusing post into one a bit cold dont ya' think? Can a "Non-entity" actually claim a copyright? (By that I mean can a nickname on a website own anything - Correct copyright requires an actual real name and/or business identity surely?) johnieheel Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Could be a guy. Don't think I ever saw a girl or woman that age with absoultly NO boobs. real men wear heels
Bernheels Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Gary 0618: i love the story! I ride a Harley too and love to wear high heel cowboy boots at times. I purchased a pair of 4 inch custom cowboy boots that I will wear when I am in the mood. I have gotten a few looks but who is going to mess with a guy on a Harley:) Bernheels
Elegant Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 That's a nice pic. A fine example of blurring gender boundaries. What is good for a goose, can be good for any gender!
JNR Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Kneehighs, did you tell the guy that you were going to post his picture here? (He appears that he would be a fun person to know.)
HeelD Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 I'd say guy number two is a guy. When I look at him I think of Richard Simmons. Out of the two pictures posted by KH, I'd say the first guy looks a lot sharper. Heel-D - Freestyling since 2005
Heelfan Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 Hi Folks, Thanks to all who have posted in the last ten months since I started this thread in January 2007. A most fascinating and heartening response so far. Thanks also for your complimentary comments on this thread. The one and only criticism came from Micha who didn't like me asking for reports of men streetheeling because he felt that I was asking other people to do the work instead. In fact, the reverse is true because I got the ball rolling with reports of my own, and topped it up with others since, totalling as much as anybody! Personally, I'm confident that it is a valuable thread because the growing knowledge that male street-heeling is being observed increasingly in various nations can only give confidence to those shyguys that were too nervous to step out in heels because they thought they were the only one in the world. So again, great reports this year, and keep 'em coming in!!! Cheers, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
lotsofheels Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Only a couple, but I live in a conservative area in upstate NY. Last year, I say I guy standing outside the bank with a pair of womens boots that had about 2 1/2 inch narrow heels. He was about 45 years old and was very nonchalant and looked great. His wife came out of the bank and joined him and they walked merrily off hand in hand. What a great sight. This year, I was out in a restaurant with my wife and a guy was sitting at the table next to us with a pair of heels that looked about 3 inches. My wife was very happy that my heels outdid his by about 1 1/2 inches as she would hate for either of us to be shown up by someone else with higher heels than ours.
Heelfan Posted October 14, 2007 Author Posted October 14, 2007 Thanks to lotsofheels - another good report! Also, I must congratulate Kneehighs on his two real-live shots of guys spotted streetheeling! Great stuff Kneehighs - these photos must be a world first!!! Cheers, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!

No you're not! We have at least two that come to our heelmeets on occassion. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
JeffB Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that's a guy in the sunglasses. I dunno, something about the cheekbones and the overall shape on the face says "man" to me. Of course, I could be wrong, but that's my two cents worth. I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
highheellover Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 nice heels anyhow. Girls and heels rock.
Dr. Shoe Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I'd say it's a very scrawny, anorexic girl. The feet look like they're around size 3... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
on heels Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I have only seen one guy in heels and that was two years ago. It was at supermarket checkout [near HeathrowAirport]. He was about 40ish wearing a shirt, jeans and black 2inch heel loafers. As for me, I was wearing ballerina style flats!
billyb Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Bernheels I too ride a harley; most days to work thats my bike in my avatar. On weekends when out rideing I wear knee high cowboy boots with a 3" rideing heel. Come to think of it I have been heeling longer than I give my self credit for because they are cowboy boots. But wearing ladies heels just the last few months.
billyb Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Here is a question, in your daily outings how often have you seen guys in heels wearing typical male clothing? The reason I ask is that out here in the southwest U.S. I have never seen any other men in heels and believe me I am always looking. In the El Paso, TX Juarez MX region we have a population of 3.5 million and yet in the shopping malls, restaurants, movie theaters I have never seen a guy in heels. I feel a little lonely.
Firefox Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Loads of times in London. I have told by those in the know that areas like Texas are not very good areas for this kind of thing. They are are populated by many rednecks, republican voters, and a lot of inward looking people. You'd probably need to go somewhere more free thinking like California, Florida, or New York.
johnieheel Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Ohio is becoming pretty much free thinking. Have yet to see another guy in heels, but people look at me like it's perfectly normal 99% of the time. real men wear heels

I saw colegue when he tryed my shoes . But that was for fun. Also i had friend who is transvestite and sometimes he put on heels with outfit in men's style. But he is transvestite, so it's not the same.
radiodave Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I'm not far from Johnieheel, and I haven't seen any either. Only time I saw a guy wearing heels was around Halloween at the mall, and he was in drag. Nobody seemed to be reacting badly to it or paying lots of attention to it. I thought he actually dressed nicely, and not in some loud outfit that seemed out of place or screamed "drag queen". He was with some guy friends who weren't in drag, and had I not noticed his nice stiletto sandals I probably wouldn't have glanced up and realized that the nice legs belonged to a guy and not a girl.
tallguyinheels Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 firefox... Shame on you - in the political continuum here in the US you have the religious right, that may contain the bible belt - which pretty much is North of Texas and south of Minnesota. They can be democrats or republicans. Also in the republican party you have Reagan conservatives - Wanting less government in all forms, and libertarians that want even less government. Then there is the McCain/Bush end of the Republican party that still think Government offers the best solutions for the people. Democrats also have various shades start near the McCain/Bush moderates and moving toward the socialist agendas of Obama/Kennedy. I'm a very conservative - almost libertarian Republican. My Credo: Let me live my life respecting the rights others and others should do the same toward me. If I am successful, don't penalize me by taking away the rewards of my efforts. If I am religious, I will let it be shown by the way I live my life, not by my forcing it upon you and certainly I'll oppose efforts to have government force religion upon me. If you threaten my family's life, my life or the property I own, I reserve the right to protect it my any means available - whether "you" are and individual or a representative of government. I will however respect the laws of of government, and make a steadfast effort to lobby government to change the laws I do not agree with, recognizing there are God given rights to any man or woman: life, free will, and liberty that should not be taken away unless that man or woman has exercised those rights away from others. Oh, BTW. never seen any other guy in womens heels 'cept at Copenhagen heel meet.

I nearly stood up and saluted you, when I read the words above. And I haven't seen any men wearing heels either. However, I'm starting to think the only way I might know, would be if I were watching a man (or woman) walk in heels. Long straight trousers can hide any heel, and the current style is to wear trousers long. I've used this to great effect, and I'm quite proud of the holes stiletto heels have made in my jeans.
SF Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Firefox don't no what he talking about... too bad.... Out here in the Bay Area (California) I have yet to see another guy in heels. Too bad.
