HeelD Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Hey all! Here's what I wore Saturday night into Soho, Central London: (The heelmeet never ended until Sunday as me, Kneehighs and Heeluis hung out until Sunday evening) And this is what I wore on Sunday when we looked around Camden and I showed KH and Heeluis some London sights: Unfortunately the pictures are crap, but the outfits looked great IMO! A full testimony will be posted in the Heel Meet thread ASAP! Heel-D - Freestyling since 2005
flavio Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 This is not a real freestyle but a brazilian reporter that wrote for the brazilian magazine "TPM" about his mom in heels and what women do for fashion regardless of pain. He said in the text that he tried those 9cm heeled sandals (very low considering that his feet are US women's 13) in front of his gf and she laughed. When he tried to reach the streets he said that the pain he felt was not in his feet but his masculinity. The only person he found was in a grocery and he quickly said "it's for an article in my magazine" and got back home. The initial mission was to wear those sandals during a complete day and write his feelings. He had no courage and wrote the article saying about his mom's feet that hurted a lot in a party and her pain was to not be seen without heels. My conclusion: this article is absolutely pathetic. iloveboots Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Just came across this post KneeHighs....awesome look. The Boots over the black pants is classic. Love to have you post some of your pics on my Boot Fashion groups, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/welovebootsfashion http://groups.yahoo.com/group/welovebootsfashion1 Cheers, david Okay, here is probably the edgiest outfit I've thrown together: Calvin Klein green tunic distressed t-shirt INC skinny black pants pointy boots And one more of me in stiletto pumps. I think if I can get the wrinkles in the pants to concentrate around my ankles, then the outfit would look more pulled together and edgy. IMO. "Dress For Your Own Pleasure"
Dawn HH Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Kneehighs:-) I think the pointy toed, stiletto heeled boots and shoes look good on you with that outfit. But, of course I'm a boot fan. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
dr1819 Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Finally, something from Dansko other than their ubiquitous 1-3/4" heel: Makes me wish it came in black in my size!
dr1819 Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 And how about this one? Man! I'd wear this baby anywhere!
kneehighs Posted May 23, 2006 Author Posted May 23, 2006 iloveboots Thanks for the compliments. HeelD Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 kneehighs - Love it man! Did you get any comments regarding your outfit? This is what I wore around my girlfriends home town on Saturday: With Jacket: Shoes were my Irene Scala Brown Courts - 3 inch heel. I've had some good responses on the Fashion Spot - both complementing my sweater! So, the shoes have worked, they don't stand out, they've blended with the rest to make a great outfit I will wear again. If you wanna know, I only had a couple of stares - one from a guy sat on ground at a bus stop and another from a woman in her car (my girlfriend spotted that one!). Fun! Heel-D - Freestyling since 2005
kneehighs Posted May 24, 2006 Author Posted May 24, 2006 Heel-D--nice oufit in pic 2. The sweater is indeed nice...thanks for the compliments. No comments were made on my outfit, cept in one case which I'll explain later....some girl from London actually! I'm starting to explore using some jewelry to spice up my outfits too. A plain necklace to start, not gold, not pearls, but some type of distressed and vintage bronze or silver... Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game.
HeelD Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 As promised, I finally have a picture of me in my bargain blazer! Basically, I conjured up this today: With Blazer: Without Blazer: Black Blazer. Black Sweater Charcoal DKNY Jeans Nine West chunky heeled Courts. I like it. I'm going to where this out in Paris next week. Heel-D - Freestyling since 2005

kneehighs Posted May 26, 2006 Author Posted May 26, 2006 Outstanding Heel-D, you'll fit right into the popular Parisian mold of dress...blazers are very popular there...love how your blazer elongates past your front pockets. Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game.
Dawn HH Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Very nice outfit, Heel-D. It looks good on you. Well co-ordinated with the shoes. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
canadianbeaver17 Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 dr1819: Nice shoes...but why are Dansko shoes so expensize? I always see them when I'm searching on eBay and the prices are up there. kneehighs: Where are all the people in your Paris Club picture? lol And who took it? Who do you go clubbin with? Heel-D: Nice outfits, man! I dress similar to what you had on. I love the fitted blazer look with flare jeans and pumps myself. Now that it is warmer out, I'll have to try it again with my strappy heels.
kneehighs Posted May 29, 2006 Author Posted May 29, 2006 ....kneehighs: Where are all the people in your Paris Club picture? lol And who took it? Who do you go clubbin with?... Lets see here. Im a traveling foreigner from ny in paris...so I started by going out alone. How else? I did make some new "friends" from Australia, London, Geneva, and Paris though--as I always chat up strangers wherever I find myself. A doctor from Paris that I mentioned in another thread chatted me up by complimenting my American accent, which he claimed was easier to understand than a British one. From there, we talked with similar interests about careers, life, women and clubbing. Soon, he asked me to join him on his weekend escapade around Paris, leading me to some of the most presigious clubs in Paris. I was dressed in stiletto pumps, blazer, and seven jeans the whole time. As far as who took the pic, I asked some girl who was sitting in a VIP Booth to take that pic. Speaking of pics, where are your pics, lol? Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game.
HeelD Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 I thought it was after the club was closing. The floor looks messy. Heel-D - Freestyling since 2005
kneehighs Posted May 29, 2006 Author Posted May 29, 2006 I thought it was after the club was closing. The floor looks messy. Yes, it was taken at closing time. My priority was not taking pics of myself in public, but just to have a good time. Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game.

canadianbeaver17 Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 I use to follow his posts, but he says that he's toned down his style a bit.
cuarenta18 Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 hello kneehighs, do you have other pics of alejandro in hh ? thx
fashionablefun Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Over the last year and half, I’ve been slowly shooting photos of my footwear collection. Inasmuch as I’m interested in the total look, I’ve shot photos that show how each shoe or boot coordinates with the rest of the outfit. It seemed logical to post them in this thread. I’ve got over 20 that I’ve shot and actively wearing. I haven’t got them all ready to post, but I’ll do a few at a time. Some I’ve mentioned some of them before on the board and I’ll try to link back to my original posts, if I can find them. I’ve worn everything you see in public many times, although these aren’t necessarily everyday attire. I mix these up with everything from Pumas or Converse ‘Chucks’ to the Franco Sarto 'Bocca' Loafer and the Edie Bauer pointy, low-heeled boot that I first learned about here. Here’s a few, in no particular order: Nine West ankle boot, blood red, size 10.5, bought about 1.5 years ago. I mentioned the purchase in this post: http://www.hhplace.org/hhboard/viewtopic.php?p=74451#74451 Also talked about these same boots in a post about shopping for jeans: http://www.hhplace.org/hhboard/viewtopic.php?p=74731#74731 Here’s my attempt at walking ‘catwalk style’. I don’t quite have it down: Antonio Melani (Dillard’s house brand) tall boot, tan, size 10, 2 years old. I posted an interesting exchange about these boots when I visited my dry cleaner here: http://www.hhplace.org/hhboard/viewtopic.php?p=85659#85659 Also mentioned these same boots in a post about eating out in a fast-food restaurant: http://www.hhplace.org/hhboard/viewtopic.php?p=72897#72897 Here’s something I anywhere, with anybody. Others, I’m more discrete. Banana Republic ankle boot, black, size 10, about 3 years old
kneehighs Posted June 1, 2006 Author Posted June 1, 2006 cuarenta18 I do know where to find a couple of other pics of Ale, but that requires some digging. fashionablefun So glad to see that you are still around, seriously! I like outfits two and three the best. You must be wearing Seven's in number 2, no? The crease they manufacture down the middle is a trait of theirs. And your jacket in pic three is awesome. Love it! I was having a tough time trying to figure out which outfit I liked best, since I like both two and three. But the outfit in pic three seems to be the winner...the pinstriped jacket dressed down with your undershirts and jeans looks edgier in my book. BRAVO! Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game.
Elegant Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 All of them look very nice. Congrats! What is good for a goose, can be good for any gender!
fashionablefun Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Kneehighs: Thanks for the compliments and of course, I've always been around, I'm just a lazy poster. You're right, the jeans are Sevens. The center crease is a dead giveaway. CB17: Yea, I've always loved red too. Those aren't the first, nor probably the last, pair of red footwear for me.
Anton Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 This one is my favorite outfit Definetely very nice, nice clothes (that jacket looks terrific!) and nice heels! that's totally my kind of style! well done fashionablefun, it would be great to see more like these!, thanks for sharing! salutes, Anton ...
dr1819 Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 I'm with you, Anton. Excellent coordination in the photo immediately above! I think Alexandro's style as depicted in the last two pics of him herein is quite acceptable, as it's very stylish. While it may border on a gender-(vulger), it does so in a very fashionable style, and it's clear there wasn't a lot of makeup, wigs, whatever to make him look more feminine. Some men just have a look about them that's more feminine than masculine, just as some women could cut their hair, go without makeup, and most people would assume they're male. I say accentuate what you have!
HeelD Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Well here's what I wore around Paris last week... This one was taken up the Tour Montparnasse on Thursday: This one was taken up the Eiffel Tower on Friday (I had socks on because it was windy and cold): This one was taken outside our hotel later that day. I took my socks off after the Eiffel Tower (it had warmed up quite nicely!): I also wore the blazer outfit I posted above out to dinner with my girlfriend on the Thursday night. Heel-D - Freestyling since 2005
kneehighs Posted June 4, 2006 Author Posted June 4, 2006 Heel-D Ahh yessss, the relaxing ambiance of Parisian memories are enfolding my very being right now. fashionablefun Looking forward to more pics when you get the chance. Good job on your outfits. I was looking at pic 3 and it looks like your ballerina shoes have bows, but I can't be sure. Either way, good job my friend. Here is today's outfit for me: --Hugo Boss t-shirt bought in Paris --Women's Zara oxford underneath--its fit is tighter, allowing me to layer form fitting tshirts over it. --Zara bootcut pants bought in Buenos Aires --Nine West 4" courts/pumps And a close up of how I daily do my hair. It's a tiny bit "cool" as I brush the sides forwards--from back to front and use a bit of gel. Click HERE for pic Originally I was going to wear blue jeans, but then I would have looked tooo Red, White, and Blue if you get my drift. kneehighs Posted June 5, 2006 Author Posted June 5, 2006 There is a somewhat famed blogger from the Phillipines who posts at The Fashion Spot sometimes. His name is bryanboy. Sometimes he incorporates heels into his outfits. If you read his pages, you'll see alot of his fans send in pics of themselves holding a bag/purse out in the air with one arm, which is bryanboy's "signature" stance. Here is a pic of what I think is one of his fans from his flickr page: Feminine Style . Masculine Soul. Skin In The Game.
