If they were the court shoe shape of the stiletto heels in my avatar I'd consider them as long as they were comfy, but not the squidoos portrayed. The squidoos are too chunky and clumpy for my taste.

I might wear them is they were court shoes with a stiletto heel. But I don't like the style in the original picture.

 No thanks, at least heels same (black, red, ...) color than shoes, but as for me, best is with different complementary color: say black heels with red sole (italian) or bright metal heels on colored shoes (Pleaser). this way, you increase nice looking of heels by contrasting them whith soles.

Not my thing, I wouldn't wear them except for fancy-dress parties, festivals, performances or other occassions where I'd practice some hardcore fashion experimenting. I like something classy and stylish, especially if it looks androgynous.

What is good for a goose, can be good for any gender!

Well, I like their look and I would wear them if they had a little platform. I Saw once similar once on ebay.de but from a seller in Poland. Did anybody see them too?

I'm going with a no in general.

But for Histiletto voila: http://www.orientvisual.com/6inchforever/shoepage.php?querytype=id&searchstring=CINDERELLA

A clear stiletto pump. No idea on how comfy.

I'm wondering if the stiletto heels and the soles could also be made out of a hard clear plastic to get that totally smooth glass transparent look. I think these high heels are closer to what Walt Disney had in mind when the animated movie "Cinderella" was inspired. Just think! Transparent heels like these could be known as chameleons because they would almost be invisible as they blend into their surroundings, except for some refractions of light waves.

On a clear dance floor, the wearer would appear to be prancing around only on their toe joints. They would be a novelty, that is for sure. You could even have fun with the Cinderella or is that Cinderfella idea. Problem is though, you'd have to be home by the last stroke of mid-night.

I really prefer some color but did wear my Sunset Strip clear platform sandals with a 7" in. stiletto heel and a turquoise minidress to a private party (only a dozen people) but we were encouraged to show heels as the host was a shoe store owner. I wouldn't choose a clear platform to go clubbing or out to eat, see a movie, etc. I'd choose something to either blend in like a nice wedge with jeans or something stylish but edgy like a platform peep-toe pump or a gladiator sandal with a tall stiletto heel. Clear heels usually don't do the wearer any favors! HappyinHeels

My favorite pair of heels have clear platforms and heels. I like the stripper connotations as those women wear heels many hours a day, and I'd like to think that's the level of heeling I'm approaching. Also, I probably have a skewed version of the profession since a former GF worked as one and enjoyed the work immensely, and I see incredible pole dance fitness classes at my gym. -MJ

clear pumps are not atractive if the weara has bunions or hammered toes, most of us woman with such feet would never wear them, but i emagine nice looking feet in them would be nice.

I voted no. I prefer a more structured look in general. Regardless of heel type or height, I prefer something more solid looking -- more masculine than feminine. For me it should be made of leather and wood and metal (not satin, not strappy, and most mostly NOT plastic). But to each his own. Enjoy what you wear.

When Vicki LaMotta appeared in Playboy back in 1981 she was wearing clear stiletto pumps which, at the time, were available from the likes as Stuart Weitzman. I don't know anyone currently who makes/sells totally clear pumps.

Not my style. I once had a pair , they seemed to "stick" to feet. They went to Goodwill. However I do like the looks of them with a platform and stiletto heel on other people.

I love Clears :)

Me to I really want some like in your pic and one day a nice wedge pair :) . Along time ago i had some pretty smart clear boots with silver heels/platforms.

I said maybe. I think they wouldn't breathe, and would make your feet sweat. I tend to like black shoes, but I did like the looks of the Cinderella pumps. I think that besides red nails a french pedicure would look nice! I wasn't able to see the first pair.

And how about these. Transparent with no or little platform sandals:

I have the first 3 and they are very comfortable and look very nice with jeans and a dressy shirt. Though those that have all transparent plastic straps you get a little sweaty sometimes under those and over the toes, not too bad though. I agree with BCBG on the french pedi with these heels. Maybe even very light pink and french tips.

Dark Blue jean, dressy shirt.

Will get some pictures up in a couple of days.

They are for people who want dollar bills shoved into their underwear.

As I don't have either a pole or platform and my dance skills are as poor as a hamster's, I ain't going to earn much!

No I will leave these with the dancers and may admire them that way but not for me.

Well made clear shoes have vent holes in them. Any non-porous material will cause your feet to sweat.
