  1. Ok, so we are similar in size - I can also vary from a 41 up to 43, depending on the heel and fit, and width too (40 would probably be too small!).

Ah yes - the old 'for my sister' line :cheeky:   hope the guys here don't rib you for that one!!

  2. They look really nice, Aleks. Well done on buying your first pair!

They look like quite a small size - what size are you?

And yes - totally use the zip only!!

  3. Welcome @Boots29! Great to have you. sorry for the roller coaster you have been experiencing... I wish you well. Sounds like there might be marriage issues, regardless of the heels, though I can imagine the heels issue might be a big hurdle for your wife. if its important to you (the heeling), and you wife is important - then maybe offer to talk about it, or go to therapy together and see if you can work through it. If only one is important to you - well, then ditch the other :cheeky:

@Tacchi Alti - I totally agree with you that women think we are encroaching their territory. But I also think its related to being out of the "norm", and they might be concerned about what people think about you and as a result - of her. Lets say you wanted to wear skirts or...  a top hat (something not feminine!). sure, its "allowed" and there is no law against it, but your wife might think it very strange. We, on this forum, assume and expect that folks out there should accept our heeling. but lets just say it - that in many cases people will think it strange, and its very unfortunately in the cases where its hard for a spouse to accept this.

  4. Thanks @pebblesf - always good to hear you sound opinion. Totally agree with you on what you described. I can most definitely find a good few pounds to lose as well... I try run regularly, but sometimes that just isn't enough to make up for the junk I eat sometimes.... and indeed my wife and I started walking together (in running shoes... not heels :cheeky: ) once a week, and that's great. hopefully more of that to come!

  5. On this cold and rainy day and wearing my Knee High Wedge boots from Public Desire. I am still surprised how they stocked this classic looking boot - most of their stock is much more trendy and "on the edge" than this style, and I don't find many pairs I like there. Heel is about 3.5" high, and they are quite thin - much thinner than your standard wedge heel (even though you cant really see it in the picture below).

My wife came home from doing some errands in her slip slops!! I don't know how she does it... I showed her that I am wearing much more weather appropriate footwear and she smiled and said she saw.

I love them - they are so cosy!!

  6. Thanks so much for the detailed and encouraging post, @nzfreestyler. You are right about most of it. obviously each case is different. my wife is also quote tall (1.78cm) - so even when she was thinner, wearing heels made her stick out. in her youth she must have been happy with that, but now much less so, especially with the extra weight. I have to try build her confidence, but the change needs to come from within her and she doesn't have that. There are all kinds of other issues right now too, I wont go into them, but they are all parts of the puzzle.

    Thanks as always!

I feel that you hit the nail on the head.  Reading what you wrote was like reading my own story.

Now I wear heels that are HOTTER & higher than my girlfriend.  (She is too conservative and up tight about some issues doesn't know about my heeling .)  When we go shopping and I choose a pair of sexy heels and she answers "Your Kidding" and picks out a pair of granny conservatives, I want to puke.  I don't understand.  Anyway that's life.

Similar here. My wife is amused at my taste - high heels she USED to wear. she has though put on a lot of weight in the recent couple of years and I understand when she says she doesn't want to be a "spectacle". I really do wish she could shake that weight off... for her and me... She still has some fab heels in her closet... and I hope they still get to see the light of day. In the meantime, only my tall ones are!

    Thanks jeremy1986

I am a bit confuse on whether it look good on me or not. The shoes has a nice shape overall, its just that something is a bit off for me. Maybe its the heart metal piece? Im not use to any adornment on top of my pumps but I guess ill get use to it.

Yeah, not sure if I would have chosen with the heart on it - but its cute. you'll enjoy them once you wear them in.

Nice pumps! Love it. Ive seen your gallery and you got really nice pairs that are my favorites.

Thanks @hernaezjames! I like to think of my style as contemporary/classic - and not the latest fashion or fetish-wear.

@Steve63130 - so sorry I never got to respond to your comment. You are totally right. we have been having ups and down in our marriage and are working on it: Not heel-related...
I just wish she would wear her heels more (or  - at all) - it would turn me right on, and I would probably say "yes" to anything :cheeky:   But you are right - I think in general - the more one side pays in, the more they get back. In healthy situations anyway.  That's for the encouragement!

  10. Thanks so much @KneeBooted for the snaps. Your boots look fabulous, and I really like the half zip - makes it a much cosier fit... if you know what I mean? Especially for the cold winter!!

And those matching wedges are really cute!! I doubt anyone noted the wedge - pretty well hidden and I assume your pants covered them.

  11. That's great @KneeBooted

Glad you had the chance to get out in your boots (ankle or knee high?) - and so much more fun to do it with your wife, who is happy to do it with you :) (I think I confused myself there for a sec!). Your boots could probably pass for cowboy (cowgirl!) boots, so I doubt any gawking would be in order.

But you both look amazing, enjoy the new season and hope you both get some good heeling done!
