  1. A warm welcome to you!

I am in a similar position, though my wife does know that I love and wear heels. But because of work and kids, I generally land up wearing at night, when I am able. Also means I have to try not make a noise :cheeky:  so often opt for more silent wedge heels, which I love regardless!

I love that first pair of yours - very sexy.

I always liked to look at high heels even as a kid. I can remember looking at the Sears catalogues and admiring the high heels. I never actually owned my first pair of heels until after my divorce from my first wife who never knew about my admiration for heels. Being by myself I decided to buy my first pair and see what it finally felt like to wear a pair of heels. They were a closed toe sandle, black with a heel cup and ankle strap. They were about 4.5" with a 1/2" platform. They felt fabulous and definitely thrilled me. My collection grew until I felt awkward and shameful, thus the collection was purged. I am very glad that I was honest and upfront with my present wife. Now we both have marvelous heel collections and we enjoy shoe shopping.

So happy the story has a happy end :-)

Nice boots, I did try them on in a size 5, fit really well and felt comfortable but a bit too similar to another pair I've already got so didn't buy

    Wow, @maninboots - size 5? Lucky you!!

    Morning all

Another day, scooter into work, stop at my Fave cafe for a coffee. Wearing my INC Bellona Suede booties sz 11. I bought these on ebay from that huge seller apparelsave.

12cm stiletto heel, 1cm platform. Very solid feel, easy to walk in despite the height, They are a bit snug still but theyre loosening up with each wear, and I can wear them all day now.

    Have a great day.

The latest pair of thrift store boots are nine west.  The quality of leather is great, and they are easy to walk in as well...

We recently picked up a pair of flat leather boots for my wife at an outlet. They were a great price (for Nine West, that is), seem very good quality  and they fit her like a glove. I have tried them on too - they fit well, though I still prefer heels :cheeky:

@pebblesf Thanks for your comment ! Yes but now I have the as many heels as flat men shoes and I don't wear heels out for the moment (afraid of public view and to cross people I know)

I know exactly what you mean... I now have 15+ pairs of heels (boots, sandals and pumps), whereas my daily men selection is about 5-6 too...
I always feels I need to justify the heel buying, but I love it.. and I usually buy on sale too (Don't you just love those New Look sales!!!)
My issue now is finding space to store the heels ...

Here are a few pics of the Musse-Cloud. And yes, they are good for smaller feet. I am a sized 9 men's USA and like I said earlier, they are on the tight side, but I am betting they will stretch just a bit and fit the way I like.

These boots look great - could easily pass as men's cowboy boots - that is until you see they are ankle height :cheeky:
    Enjoy them!

Everybody thinks he lives in a very conservative community. The truth is, however, that the demons are in your head and it's just an excuse. I know because I used to think that, too. Then I slowly climbed out of my shell and tested things, with block heeled boots covered by long jeans, with bootcut jeans, with other shoes that were more daring, with sandals that revealed my painted toenails, and so on. It's been a fun journey, but with baby steps all the way to keep my wife happy as she gained confidence that I was still the same guy she married, only happier. So take your baby steps, start small and safely. Go to big malls and places with lots of people who are too busy to notice. Don't go to dark alleys and unsafe neighborhoods alone; you will invite trouble. Read of the outings posted here so you gain confidence, and keep pushing the envelope! Good luck on your journey.

    Steve

Steve, I hear what you are saying. Thanks for the encouragement. I will take it slow and easy...
I tend to be careful with my wife too -  she knows about my love of HH's, and puts up with it to a certain degree - half annoyed I think, but half amused too. But the last thing I would want to do is make her think that I am more fem than her :cheeky:  She wanted a husband, right?  Do you guys ever have those thoughts?

My most recently added wedge boots.

Very simple and effective. I like how they look on me.

Please don't notice my shirt getting out on the second picture!

These wedge boots look great on you! How high are they?
I LOVE wedges, and if they are on boots - even better :cheeky:
Are they silent steps, or do they click-clack? My wife has a pair of low wedges, probably have a hollow heel, as they make a click-clack as she steps...  Mine however are relatively silent...

This pair I never even wore out of the house. I received them from Victoria's Secret online back when they sold shoes. They are Colin Stuart brand, black patent leather. I love the wedge, but ended up deciding against them as I didn't like the wood look heel contrast.

    I will be selling these.

These look great - love the wedge heel. How high are they?

I hope this situation changes for you sometime in the near future....I know how frustrating it is to own such amazing boots and not be able to "show them off" publicly....I hope you will go ahead with your plans of taking your booties for a car ride..Start slowly and enjoy your boots publicly...

Thank you. If I get my heel time at home, I do not really seek much more. My wife puts up with it on some level, but not sure how much more I want. As you say - easy does it.

Those boots look great under your pant leg but they look fantastic over it.  Are they for out and about wear?  They are great boots and you should show them off.  With a heel that narrow, watch out for any walking surface imperfection (sidewalk crack).

    :wavey:

    Thanks for your comments!

Sadly, they are not for outside wear. We live in a very conservative community - I would never even consider it... though I dream of it sometimes :cheeky:
The furthest I have been is been out with a pair of flat boots once, to take out the garbage! The other day I considered taking a pair of booties in the car with me for a short errand.. but landed up not going....
Anyway - its solely an inside adventure for me (pun intended!)

Something like 3 months ago, my mother-in-law was home and I showed her I was wearing my brown boots. At this time, she first said something regarding my sexuality. However, less than 5 minutes later, she came by and apologized. She had never seen a man in heels before. Since then, however, she has seen me several times in heels or boots (always at home), and complimented me.

Yesterday, my mother-in-law came by, after doing some shopping with my gf. Like very often, i'm in heels, this time my newest steve madden booties (which I love : I plan to go out while wearing them, in the coming months), with my jeans.

Before having dinner, I notice a box on the fridge. She says "i wanted to give you a gift. you are dear to me". So she says : go on, open it!

So i open the box and see these beautiful knee high faux-leather boots. Wow!

It's the first time ever i've been given heels. And they fit perfectly, as they were made for me. It shook me and I feel really good since then.

I mean, for the little story, we are to move in a house, my gf, me and her mom, so my love can take good care of her mother (instead of sending her in a '"old' folks' home)... I sometimes wondered how it would go about my heeling around, with my mother-in-law living with us. No longer!

Sorry the pics aren't good quality, my gf and I are to take new pics soon. :)

Oh my - you are so lucky! The boots look fabulous!
    Enjoy the ride!
