Mr. X

2006 I joined. Just outside the time frame for me. But still can't believe it's been nearly 20 years. Time flies, but my love of heels remains stronger than ever.

Here are my latest acquisition. I got these for less than $20 in a thrift store. The brand is Fashion Nova, And they go up to just above the knee. They are an almost half black, and half grey, suede like material. and they have a 4" block heel.

I am usually around the hundred mark myself. When I do an inventory it is pretty similar to yours, Except, I don't do anything with heel height. I just separate them by shoe or boot type. and count each group. then I post the results, Then my last number is the total number of shoes and boots I own.

My size is almost identical to yours. And yes, It is weird that women's waist size for pants is less than our actual waist size. But then again, women's natural waists are higher up than a mans. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Here, up north in Canada, we have been beyond cold! Overnight, it has been any where from -30 C to -40 C with the windchill. And it ain't stopping till we hit February. So another week of this cold for us.

Nothing against it. But not my cup of tea either.

I'll raise my hand on that one. I was too young to do it back then. But I'm making up for lost time now. You think people are too fat in general for that to come back? I challenge you to go to any popular beach in the summer, and check out some of the women that wear bikinis. If we are fat, then they must be morbidly obese. Anything seems possible these days.

Fashions definitely come and go. Some stick, and some don't. And everything seems to come back at some point. What's old is new again, is what they usually say. I forgot that in the 70's men wore short shorts. When is that coming back?

I am a guitar player and lover of music. I also play a little bass, and electronic drums. I could not see my world without it. Music in the car is a must for me. Music at work is a must. And I can also sit in front of my stereo and do nothing but listen to music. And just in case anyone ever doubts my love of music. I just show them pictures of all my guitars and instruments. And if that still doesn't work, I just show them pictures of my roughly 1500 CD's. And then I top that off with pictures of my roughly 300 or so records. So yeah, It's in my blood.

Here is a type of heel I can't stand. You see it alot on Steve Madden shoes. They look oddly out of place. And I don't like shape either. They remind me of that springy door stop you find on the wall.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun, even though you came up empty handed.

Mine were always dried inside on a drying rack

Washer Dryer combos always take forever. I had one before in my old apartment. And yes, the drying is the time consuming part. Because the system has to get all the water out first before it can dry your clothes. It always felt like it was faster if I hung my clothes to dry.

Those are tall and steep looking. They remind me of Go Go boots.
