fastfreddy2 Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 If you were (very) quick, you may have seen me walking around Luton Arndale this afternoon, around 3.45pm. The walk was quite short, and went off without a hitch. Unusually, I wasn't escorted either. I think my skin tone was damson for the 10 minutes of my little walk, and you could have struck a match on my tongue, my mouth was so dry. These Nine West wedges, are wonderful ....
roniheels Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Yeaterday at Wal-mart, I saw a young man in the parking lot, maybe mid to late 20's, with thick, (dyed) strawbeey blond hair, very muscular, some tatoos, and his gait was one of "don''t get in my way, don't mess with me!" I looked down at his feet and he was wearing boots with a semi-pointed toe and at least 3, maybe 4 inch stacked heel. They looked like women's boots, but it was hard to tell. I walked up to him and said, "nice boots." He gave a curious look and said thanks. Then, not moments later in the store, I saw a man about my age wearing a pair of snake skin cowboy boots with a very high cowboy heel. I walked up to him and said, "I like your boots, man." He smiled and said very cheerfully, "thank you, man." Two guys publicly heeling, different ages, and definitely different attitudes.

loveheel Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I saw one again. This time in the San Francisco airport. He was wearing 3" cuban heels with skinny jeans and a fitted jacket. Quite nice look. But nothing like the two stylish women he was with. One of them was as beautiful as I ever saw: long dark hair with highlighted strands and stiletto boots. The other one wearing boots with a stacked block heels. Made my day. I wish I had my camera on me.
JeffB Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Transparent wedges. Well, damn! Just when you thought you've seen it all.... I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
ChipsHH Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Love them. Someone should have asked where he got them from. Formally "HHDude"
ChipsHH Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 So, as I've been reading, I should move to New York???? Formally "HHDude"
thatotherguy Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 saw one just tonight while driving in downtown Vancouver. Guy in his mid-20s wearing what seems to be work clothes, until the streetlights revealed his black 3-4" patent pumps. He was walking rather normally like anyone down a street; he seems to have just gotten off work as well! breaking social norms is a hobby of mine
hhboots Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Other than a few full TV's that I have seen, unfortunately, I do not believe I have seen any other guys in normal clothing and high heels, other than myself.
HeelD Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Some guy from Sweden going for a modern/retro 70's look with an overly long blazer, high waisted flare leg pants, clutch, and you guessed it, high heels. http://stockholmstreetstyle.feber.se/art/66154/karl/ Adam A LaFolie making a second appearance, only this time in video format: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6fl2i_sony-rolly-takes-disco-to-the-stree_shortfilmsSome how I reckon the Swedish guy would so much better in less garish heels - like more slender block heels or stillettos. Still he looks good though. Adam rocks! That outfit really suits him. Heel-D - Freestyling since 2005
HeelD Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Today, in the Mulberry store on New Bond Street, London. One of the male sales assistants was wearing 2 to 3 inch block heels with skinny jeans. The heel was very visible to all. I couldn't make out the colour as the lighting was low but it was well co-ordinated. He looked good and was very courteous at the door as we left the store. laceups Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Last year in Munich city centre, I was out shopping with my wife and noticed a guy wearing what looked like 3-4 inch stilettos that poked out from under his jeans. I doubt anybody else noticed because he walked so casually. He walked into ... a shoeshop!

If it was in Munich, are you sure it wasn't Joak, a former member (might still be but is no longer active) here? Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
Duck Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I saw a guy heeling today for the first time (as in not a full transvestite) and I bet £10 the guy is on these boards Anyone I was on the train from Aberdeen to London and when it stopped at Peterborough I saw a guy (I think) get off the train and walk down the platform past where I was half asleep. I normally look out at stations in case there are any nice shoes on display and was a bit surprised to see the winner in some nice brown boots with maybe 3-4 inch heel was a guy. Also respect for heeling while carrying quite a large suitcase, that makes things tricky.
mtnsofheels Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Interesting about observations in Germany. I was passing through Frankfurt airport last year going to Italy. I was impressed to see a fellow of smaller stature nice orange cashmere looking sweater, a pair lovely black pin-stripe pants and pair I guess 3" black slingbacks on with black sheer hose. It looked really good, lots of people around and nobody even took notice except for me, being envious of course. He also had a small moustach which I though placed him in our kind of league. At that point it gave me comfort and confidence to wear my own wedge boots in Italy. Mtnsofheels

Alas, security has become so annoying (security personel are so retarded here in canada) that I just dress as simple as possible and make sure I'm not carrying anything metalic while going through the security checks. Love the boots in your avatar
Dawn HH Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Not in my area. And it has been quite a while since I have seen myself streetheel with my health problems. But the desire is still there and who knows what the future may bring again. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
radiodave Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 I can actually say I have finally seen another guy wearing heels, and it wasn't Johnieheel or guys at a heel meet. I was in Lowe's with my folks, and saw a couple walking, but the one who certainly appeared to be a guy was wearing boots with about a 3" block heel. The sound got my attention, and if I hadn't been with my folks I might have caught up to confirm that it really was a guy, and maybe even introduce myself.

Funny cause wife and I was at Lowes Sat. and I was wearing my 3" block heel knee high tommy hill boots but with my shinny bald head, I don't think there is any mistake or question as if I am a male or female. lol! real men wear heels
Dawn HH Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Johnieheel:-) Very doubtful that anyone would mistake you for anything but a man, unless it would have been a girl who had shaved her head, like Shania. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!

billyb Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 There is a park near where I work that has a big pond and walking paths all around it and some days I will go ther to have lunch and after I eat I usually will take a walk. Well a few weeks ago as I pulled up and parked there was a car parked across from me in the next lot and the drivers door was open and a high heeled boot was sticking out and after a bit the driver got out with their back to me this person was tall with long hair so I assumed a lady then the person turned around and I realized it was a man, he thru away a bag in the trash got back in his car and drove off. A few days later I went back to the park to have lunch when I saw his car but no one was in it so I had my lunch and got out to go for a walk as I neared this coverd pic nic table I saw him and he was wearing wide leg trousers and a pair of black mary janes with at least 4.5 inch heel, I decided to stop and talk to him but just as I got close his cell phone started ringing and when he answered he imedently picked up his lunch and started walking towards his car but sa we crossed paths he look down saw I was wearing heels looked up at me with a suprised look smiled and kept going. unfortantly I have not had a chance to have lunch at the park lately so I have not seen again. Out here in southern New Mexico I saw another heeler lol
Dawn HH Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 BillyB:-) Maybe you will have another chance and can talk to him since he has seen you in heels. It could be an interesting conversation. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
