The Adventures of kneehighs...

Here's the pic I said I might provide.

Maroon Ann Taylor LOFT lace top.

Fake Chanel brooch.  She loved it.

Michael Kors 3” heel boots.  She also loved them.  Reached down to caress the heel and admired the gold details.

I also put her on my back (piggy back style) and spun her around in circles. In heels.  It's something I do with a lot of girls.

Overall a good time in Williamsburg.

You look great buddy, hope you both had fun together

Thanks!  Yes we both had a good time. The venue has vintage decor.  It tends to attract creatives, from the nearby Williamsburg community.  So the scene is interesting, artsy, and not "bro culture".  The DJ passed around a basket with Halloween treats in it.  I thought that was a nice touch.

Thanks Jeff!

P.S. one improvement I'm going to make is to add gold buttons to my blazer.   On both the cuffs and the front of the blazer.  Gold accessories you can't see in the pic include 2 thin delicate necklaces, one pearl and one rhinestone.

Yeah Williamsburg is way more fun than Manhattan.  More creatives, early adopters, artists, in BK for sure.

Hey, Kneehighs, what' the model name of the MK boots?

Arley Boot.

DYOR https://www.bagfory.com/product_detail.php?c=leather arley web boots&p=15

....also thinking I might switch up my pants for leather pants or some Wolford tights next time.   Tights with a subtle, classic design.

Michael Kors makes some pretty nice looking stuff, and I'm always tempted, but I won't be buying any more MK shoes. I've had quite a number in the past, and at least in my personal experience, their durability is subpar. I've had more MK stuff break on me than I care to remember. Maybe the boots are better, but the sandals have been terrible for me--straps breaking, heels coming loose, shanks bending--and I'm known for being pretty easy on shoes. I do wear them and I do walk in them, though. If a fellow didn't walk 20 or 30 miles in them, they might be ok.

A shame those boots only go up to size 11. They look sharp, even to me despite my current passion for ankle highs.

Oh, nothing all that impressive--a few months maybe? I was just expressing my frustration at how many MK failures I've had.

Maybe Michael Kors plans it that way (planned obsolence with sandals)?  I've had two pairs of Hamilton Riding boots (like below).

Worn for Fall, Winter, Spring times 3 seasons each.  Not a single tear, rip, or even problem, tbh.

Nice boots, kneehighs! The adornments on the ankle make the grade and then some!

great looking boots for any occasion

Really, I've worn my pants tucked into these boots in soo many contexts: Toastmasters (public speaking), business meetings (not corporate. entrepreneurial), dates, out with friends (male and female)...too many to write down.  It's such a non-event it becomes laborious to document it.  Not just in NYC either--all over the world.

Video of me spinning a girl on my back, while wearing heels.  Most girls squeal.  She was a bit unemotional.

I've seen multiple other shots of you spinning girls. How did this rather unusual playfulness even begin?

Thought I answered this but my post isn't showing.  It originally started as a means for showing social proof to attract other girls.  "She's having fun with him, so I can too."  Here's an innocent video of me spinning one of my all time favorite girls for further background info:

@Tech and I fixed it myself before being told, yet you still punish me with a warning, making that warning public again when it could've been private messaged, and issuing an official warning point(s) after I fixed it?

Be very careful, women are very observant and may recognize a replica.

So I was invited to a party at 55 Irving Place tonight.  Drew Barrymore was hanging out there.  Met some girl whose dad is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs.  She too worked at Goldman.  Once she told me she lived in Hudson Yards (aka 5-6K/mo for a 1 bed room) I knew she was in another league.  She asked me if my Chanel brooch was real, lol.

My answer?  "Marc by Marc Jacobs top (real), Calvin Klein blazer (real), zara pants (real, lol) and Nine West shoes" She answered, "I was just giving you a hard time"  That was the end of the convo.

I also lost my brooch.  So good thing I didn't drop $400 USD + on it.  Will replace for another immediately.

Sounds like that encounter got off on the wrong foot....Aside from asking about whether your outfit was genuine, did she compliment/comment on it?   Where were you hanging out, in Manhattan?

It was actually a really fun conversation.  Her test of my brooch integrity was probably just a standard s__t test that girls sometimes disperse to weed out "beta" males. Her reply on instagram direct was, "Yes plzzz, f--k me pumps required.  Let me know your schedule next week."

She didn't offer any compliments on my outfit.  The girl I went to the party with said I looked better than her.  It was near Union Square, Manhattan.

Another word of caution here, women hate it when a man wears it better than they can.
