Went in for my mani. My tech is going on vacation so she moved all her clients to two days this week. I took a call so I went outside. When I returned the woman waiting for her daughter to get finish asked me if my wedges were comfortable. They had each gotten two wedges that day for a vacation they where leaving on tomorrow.

I'm sure yours were higher ;-)

  2. Way to go, @Cali, as they say. Must have been an amazing trip for you!

I liked your Costa line - could have met with a member or 2 there ;-)

Re the cobbles, I cant comment, as I don't get out in heels - but I certainly feel for you!

I just attended a wedding in Green Bay last Saturday for a ex-coworker. He remembered me in retirement so I made the trip up there. It was an outdoor wedding so wedges were the shoe of choice.

I have been to 2 weddings and a number of other events in the last week or 2 - wow, the heel eye-candy was quite something! Some lovely wedges on view at tonight's!

If you wanted to match the first of the style to a description then these are some I just though of: After "Comfy Loafer", how about "Magnificent Mule", "Delightful D'Orsay", "Wonderful Wedge", "Beautiful Boot", and "Sleek Stiletto"?? Just a few to get started. Like others have said anything to keep it interesting! HinH

As almost anything @HappyinHeels says here... I second these!

Here is my latest acquisition.  I picked these up in a thrift store for $15.  They are black snakeskin pumps with a heel measuring just over 4 inches.  The brand is Sam and Libby.  They are extremely comfortable to wear.  And they are in excellent condition.  I can see these being my go to heels.  they will get a lot of use.

These have a classic and great look to them!

As Payless is in its last days, I found the Christiano black stiletto plain pumps HABIT in a 13.  They were 80% off with another 25% off that particular day. I was unable to try them before purchase and they are a bit tight but could get them on.  They have a set-back heel which provided a different feel to my walk.  I believe they were listed as a 4" heel but as you know, that is on a size 8.  Not bad for $5.65 instead of $34.99.

great price, and they sound very nice. Snap us a pic when you have a chance

What specifically do you find confusing (asking so I can clarify my communication)?  Girl A is the girl in the dress.  She's open to men in heels.  After I slept with her.  Girl B is the girl with the hat. She wasn't as open to men in heels. But I showed the pic of me wearing heels without first sleeping with her.

What you explained now in 2 lines took you about 10 before.

But don't pay any attention to me  - Just pulling your chain ;-)

Wore my burgundy Manji-S (SpeedLimit 98) to work today - see above. First thing my Admin said was "how high are those" and she handed me a ruler..6.25 heels, 1.75 platforms. Lots of double takes.

Had a hour to kill so I went to the big mall to look at heels in a large Women's Macy's. Tried on several heels but none fitted just right so no purchase. But many looks.

The store where I got these has a grey pair and I think I'll get them too.

    Sounds great - well done.

...the young woman at the cash register commented on how much she liked the pair of “Jlo” boots I was wearing that I gave them to her.

….  My wife agreed however, that under the circumstances, I did the right thing.

    wow and wow!

Give me a heads-up next time you go out to eat ;-)
