Yes, bit of a crappy picture that one.

No it´s not.

There is just not enough light to make it shine.

This picture was too dark and was brightened in postproduction, sometimes that works very well. Try it!

Yeah, you can try to fix it in post, but it's probably easier for you, and your pics will look better with proper lighting beforehand.

Now those white slingbacks are VERY nice!   I'm guessing 5"?   That style was very popular in the early '60s but I have very rarely seen them (being either worn or advertised) in recent years; all offerings seem to have the wrong heel position or toe shape, or are given an ankle strap and an ugly platform.

That's better, the lighting is much improved.

I am normally no friend of patterned stockings, but with your legs it is OK. 👍

lsorlathor : Are you saying you would rather have light than a subject (model ) ?  MikeDSCF5363.thumb.JPG.04b783383f4e48089e755afa83c145a5.JPG

No, but to make your model shine you need the right lighting, different sources, diffusors, reflectors and so on. It is amazing to see a pro work and how much equipment they use. I've added a second big flash to my main lighting in many pictures, some pictures have even a small fillflash added.

interesting use of lighting to create shadows, but you could use a bit of light coming from left side and brighter on the right. That way you can still se the detail in the shadow,

Pink heels with ankle strap on a woman is absolute perfection.

These heels were a gift from another member in a german high heel forum. He was a collector and wanted these heels to be worn by a lady and pictures taken and posted in the forum.

Very good looking shoes with a lovely colour, however a little strange in combination with the red tights (personal taste, i know). 👍

If I'm wrong, the Penelope might still appeal to you!

I think they are ASOS Penelope in tan, 5" heel: https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-penelope-stiletto-court-shoes-in-tan/prd/20392718   Shown now as out of stock but others colours still available.

If I'm wrong, the Penelope might still appeal to you!

I ordered those in size EU43. Sadly I had to return them because they didn't fit. They felt more like EU42.

It does seem that most ASOS own-brand shoes come up small.   My UK13 boots are certainly not too big on my UK11-12 feet.   (I'm wondering what, if any, women's styles will be offered by ASOS in sizes above UK10 this winter?)

I just saw that Asos has a similar model called Passion, 5" heel and best of all, goes up to size UK10. Or EU44. I'll give those a try.

Simply perfect. Got get those shoes. Brand and model please.

They were from Asos, Penelope sounds familiar but I can't find those exact shoes on their website at the moment.

Passion shown in two colours, but nothing larger than UK9 shown, and sizing suspect according to some reviews:  https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-passion-stiletto-court-shoes-in-chocolate/prd/200406684?colourwayid=200406686&SearchQuery=passion
