AlexC94
So, the little flappy handle on one of my Pleaser boots broke so I improvised with a small keyring. Is this a good idea?
Steve63130
Looks like a great idea to me! Very well done as far as looks go. And if it functions appropriately, you have a great solution. Steve
Tacchi Alti
I had to do the same with a brand new pair of boots. The zip was very stiff and the metal tab snapped off. It wasn't worth sending the boots back, especially as they fit well. I've put a small keyring like that on the zip. 'Come, and trip it as ye go On the light fantastic toe.' LthrRam
I have done this very hack before and it works great!

Cali
Maybe change out the other side so they match. Maybe even tie a leather strip thru the ring, would make it easier to pull. Edited November 3, 2017 by Cali
AlexC94
Phew. Thought I wouldn't be able to get them on again. Close call.
alphax
That'll work! Looks classier than a paper clip too Zipper pulls come loose on luggage all the time. You can buy replacements at a local fabric or fabric-y craft store, or of course on line.
AlexC94
Just put them on with the keyring zip hold. No problems. Yay!
