I voted "with the right outfit".

Because we culturally assign pink to girls and light blue to boys, starting

at age 1 day, it may not be easy though to put together a coherent manly

looking outfit that involves pink shoes.

Maybe we should have a race, who of our specialists can come up with

a picture of such an outfit.

Y.

Bold emphasis mine.

You are right, but apparently this wasn't always the case:

I also think some of these would work with pink shoes:

Might as well buy the left one, too!

:)

Maby even be on sale.....say, ½ off because the right one was "missing" :P

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.

Today was casual day at the office, so I decided to wear a nice hot pink top with flare jeans and my 4" hot pink pumps (well, maybe fuschia would be a better color term), but the two matched, and the ladies really liked the look I put together. As JeffB has said before - it's all about the complete package - and he is right!

Thanks, Dawn HH! A couple of the ladies wanted to know where I shop for all of my shoes at, so now I'm telling them of the online sites I go to when I shop. It's a very cool feeling indeed! Thanks to the support of many here, I've had better luck putting together my looks.

Well, I simply speak the truth as I know it. If you're going to freestyle, then it's important that you do it right, from head to toe! Bravo to you and your latest outfit which sounded pretty darn cool!

I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!

I should have taken some pics on Sunday when I went to work, but I'll remember to take my camera next time I'm out and about to see if I can get someone to snap a few!

I found a pair of pink heels today at a resale shop that I couldn't resist! Suede peep toe d'Orssays from Colin Stuart is a size 12, and never worn at that. Couldn't pass them up for $10 and yes, I will wear them. Sorry about the poor quality photo, but it will give some idea of what they look like...

Simcity3:-)

Pumps and boots are my all time favorites also. I also like sling-backs with a closed toe and MaryJanes---closed toe definately.

I found only few MJ's i like but slingbacks with a closed toe is also nice.

Yesterday i also spotted my first pair of Louboutins in puplic. It was a lovely young brunette wearing a nice office suit similar to the outfit in the pic only the shoes where louboutins like the ones in the other pic. Wery stylish in my taste but still casual for the office.

Hi All,

Speaking of new shoes, and of pink heels, remember how some forumers raved over the "TEAGAN" platform sandal I told you all about a while back? Well, since I figured their stock is running thin since this shoe did very well and since this was the shoe that fit me perfectly in size 10, I decided to go back and buy the pink (fuschia) ones. Exactly like the black ones I wore to a suburban St. Paul mall some weeks ago just in Fuschia. I tested them for fit in the store and...high heel heaven...my turquoise toes wrapped in 6" of stiletto bliss. Yes I know the colors clash but this is more about the shoe and the way it fits. If anybody here normally wears a size 11, I'm telling you that you owe it to yourself to try and get these since a size 10 will fit you fine as long as you don't have a REALLY wide foot. The strap design seems to allow for more room. The best part is, once you find the right clasp holes to put the two thin straps into, you can slip into the babies just like a pair of slingbacks! They feel wonderful. There are many Bakers stores but these shoes would make a drive there worth the trip.

I had these taken by a friend of mine at work tonight, and really wish the quality was better, but just didn't have my real camera with me - dangit. Anyway....this is my "pink day oufit" at work with my black slacks and black denim jacket. Enjoy!

SQ, I love the look! Pink pointy pumps are fantastic with the black trousers and classic. I know pink isn't for everybody, but in my opinion, they are a great option for those who don't have an issue with them.
