I am particularly interested to know whether you can cite ACTUAL personal examples of having experienced prejudice, or is it your assumption? Many guys contributing to these forums say that the only inhibitions are the fears in the budding wearer's own mind, and that if only they conquer that and start publicly streetheeling on a regular basis (like Firefox and Xaphod and me for instance), then they realise that virtually everybody either accepts the footwear or doesn't react in the slightest. However, I think it's way to broad. While I agree that 90% of the fear is in the wearer's own mind, there are "negative" reactions out there. Two things are factual. One is that once you conquer the fear in your mind, whenever you do get a negative reaction, the less effect it will have on you. The other is that the longer you wear your heels in public, the less you are concerned about what others think. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public. When I first told her she was a little interested in finding out more, but interest has cooled. We are having major issues right now about totally unrelated issues. A high-heel wearing man (much less a man into other feminine acoutrements) doesn't fit the profile of a beer-swilling football-cheering, grubby T-shirt & jeans-wearing Real Man. It doesn't matter how loving, devoted, caring, or secure in his manhood masculine he might otherwise be. Sorry for the rant, but most women won't even get to first base if they know you like wearing high heels--and they're the ones that rant about how much they value honesty in a relationship. It's like they only want SOME honesty!! I got to first base on a first date and was invited back to her place to spend the night on Saturday night (to hit a home run). I say that just to show that it can be done. Truth be told, I don't find that much of a sexual buzz from wearing heels at all. I feel that if I did feel a buzz, it would be harder for me to street heel. I do feel more confident though... And did anyone else notice Bubba's post count changed from 5001 to 4999? Everytime I wear my 6" black patent platform sandals to bed, it leads to a session before I go to sleep, and after I wake up. And I always sleep good when I wear those shoes. Absolutely - knowing I wouldn't go out and about in them, it was a thrill that I could even wear them and look so good in them. I also had some 3-inch heeled sandals that I would have worn out and just taken my chances, because they made me feel good too. My more sensible 3-inch loafer-esque heels, or 2-inch court pumps? Not so much a sexual turn-on, but the sensation of wearing a heel (the sounds, wearing knee-highs with them, the feeling of my arches being up even more, etc) just felt good to me. With the exception of my wood-like sandals and platform flip-flops, I could have easily worn any of them out and not really felt much of anything. Now I do love seeing a lady wearing a nice pair of high heels on her barefeet and dancing in them. Maybe I am just acting out my fantasies when I have heels on. The big turn-on factor is with the women. Many of them have said they find my boots very sexy. On dates, they will ask me to wear certain outfits and boots. A couple women have asked me to wear the heels to bed. Today, I have a scheduled clandestine assignation. My date was specific about how she wants me to dress and what boots to wear. She is taking me to a salon this afternoon, for a hair cut and styling, as well as a manicure, with nail polish. I know she will be very hot tonight. I love the heels that I have (not that many but a few @ least) but I do need to wear some thicker socks the next time I wear my blade heel boots though, my feet had been a little too tender after all day in them because I had on thin hose instead of the thicker socks that I usually wear with them! men still look good with pants tucked into the right boots! I hope that link works above, that's what I was wearing with jeans, yesterday I was out of town on a one day business thing and took those along. I miscalculated on how long my pants would be and they didn't cover quite as much as I thought. Half the heel was showing and about half way up the front. Very noticeable and Pink to boot. I stopped at 3 different places, 2 different strip malls and a rest area. By the time I got to the last one a girl at the rest area was buying something from the vending machine and just looked at me walking up and by then I was like "so what?". I really enjoyed it, I have to admit. Only about my second or third time out and all the advice I got here really helped and greatly appreciated. Thanks to all.
