[background=rgb(250,250,250)]These are light beige wedges with a trendy bling twist. The material is faux leather for the most part. Bangkok 03 are very comfortable to walk in and matches many fashion pieces. These are one of those shoes which are great for days when being busy on the toes is a no escape. I really explored wearing it during the Spring/Summer months and have made it transitional for this season...[/background]

  1. Hey, all.

I didn't know where else on the forums to post this, and I know it's been AGES since anything's been said from me but believe me. I have a very good reason for it. And one day, I'll update my personal blog with all the info you might want to know.

    For now...

I'm hoping to get a potential buyer of my booties on eBay. I have a couple of bids in play already. Course, I think there could be a possible 'Buy-it-now' user somewhere here. They are some nice booties, size 11 that fits my size 12 feet, patterned brown spots, lace-up style, and only worn once, and only for around 15 minutes or so.

But it's better to just show you the item in question, right?

    Well, VOILA!~

I'm selling for a multitude of reasons, one being that I already have a pair in a color I can better incorporate into my outfits. But someone else on here could probably put more work into them than I could, and I hope that's the case.

    That said, happy bidding!~

Edinburgh - 13/6 - my wife bravely joined me for this evening. A walk in 3" block heeled ankle boots from The George Hotel to Cafe Royal, a favourite bar of ours. Stayed for a couple of hours sat on a bar stool, heels hooked over the rest bar.

Edinburgh - 14/6 - called in to Debenhams where Faith have a sale on. Found some strappy sandals, 5" heel, 1.5" platform which we both agreed looked very nice. Being Faith, there's no return on sale items, so no option but to try them on in the store ;-).

Ashton Under Lyne - 17/6 - arrived at our flat wearing my new sandals from Faith and gave the old lady sitting outside in the sun, cause for surprise. A smile and a friendly hello is so dis-arming though !

    After doing some work there, carried on to Tesco Express to buy some lunch;

Dropped a key in to our letting agent - (with hindsight, not sure that was the brightest idea); and

Filled up at the local petrol garage, which has a wonderfully large forecourt and long walk to/from the shop ;-)

  2. Since my last entry, quite a lot has happened. I met a lovely lady who is now very much part of my life :) Not long after meeting her I had a moment of weakness and confusion and went against my self imposed promise of never getting rid of my entire collection of heels and purged my flat of all womens shoes. Gutted. Especially since doing it I told her all about my passion for heels and womens footwear in general and she is totally cool about it. She said she's happy for me to wear them around the house but wasn't too sure about me wearing them out locally with her around which is totally fine with me because I'm not particularly confident about doing that either. She did however hint at us going out in a town where we don't know anyone and going walking in heels.

I still feel a bit weird about wearing them around her which I put down to years of feeling shame about it. But it's getting easier as time passes and I feel like I can openly talk about it whenever I want. It's quite a relief just being able to rabbit on about it whenever I want.

I have since invested in a couple of new pairs both of which were imported from the US from Barefoottess.com (great website for the larger footed man/woman!). Expensive but well worth it. Pics below...

I've not done any public walking in heels or flats since my last outing but I feel like I'd like to again sometime. I'm really gutted I don't have those Steve Madden flats I went out in the first time because they were great for that. I'm sure a similar pair will turn up somewhere.

Anyway, more to follow....as and when stuff happens. Happy heeling folks!

    blog-0681289001362880644.jpgHello everyone.

Today I posted alot of pictures of my many pairs of womens boots. I have a total of 48 pairs. Most of them are size 10s or 11s. I have been wearing womens boots for 30 plus years. It started when I was young and has never stopped. I own only 1 pair of high heeled boots which I have posted a picture of thigh high stretch boots with a 4 inch heel. The best boots all round I have found for me is the Frye Shirley Over the Knee Leather Boots. The leather is the softest buttery leather I have ever found. They are quiet expensive at $440. I own 3 pairs black, brown and brown suede. I wear these everyday under my jeans and have done so for the past 2 years. Nobody has ever noticed. I would love to be able to wear them over my jeans in public but have never had the courage. I am happily married and my wife supports my boots wearing all the way except for the thigh high high heeled boots. Let me know what you think of the pictures

  3. I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting tired of posting In the forums. Its the same old, same old! People too scared to wear heels outside, worrying what others think and so on. If I find something interesting, I might post, but not right now. Some people might be upset by my comments, but its just shoes and you have nothing to be ashamed of!

I'm going to concentrate on my blogs. This way I can talk about everything I'm into. Heels are I small part of what I'm in. To be honest, I like high heels, but not sandals, clogs, strappy slingbacks or pumps with a ton of toe cleavage. I like chunky heel pumps and boots with platforms and with a goth influence. I'm sure everybody have their favorite type of shoes.

I'm trying to make my own designs and don't want to follow a crowd too much.

    Hi to everyone on here

I'm assuming like minded people are viewing this content, if not you wouldn't be on this forum so your comments on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Only last week, having concluded my business early that day, I went for a walk around one of the shopping centers in Dublin to pass some time. Well actually I just wanted to go shoe shopping, which is something I absolutely adore doing. Being a man, this might seem strange, but I just love shopping for ladies high heel platform shoes.

The shop assistants are always more than helpful, approaching and asking if they could help. Maybe I looked "out of place" at the time. In one shop I found some fabulous platform ankle boots, black in a size 9, with a 2 inch platform and a 6 inch heel and asked the very attractive sales assistant for the other boot, which she duly delivered. The shop was very quiet at the time, which meant that the assistant had no other customers to attend to. Now the boots were a high quality brand and somewhat expensive even though they were discounted and on sale, which meant that there was no way that I was going to purchase them without trying them on first.

I made my way to the nearest seating and proceeded to try on my new boots, which fitted like a glove. The lovely assistant at first appeared "gob-smacked" at what she was witnessing and I felt as though I was going to pass out with embarrassment. Now when I go "shopping" I always wear a pair of extra long boot cut Jeans which I can turn up with my normal shoes. I turned down my jeans and when I stood in my new heels the jeans just about reached the floor, leaving just the bottom of the heel visible. The heels were slightly chunkier than the standard stiletto and I found them more stable and much easier to walk in than my other stiletto heels.

Out of the corner of my eye I could see the assistant approaching along with one of her older colleagues and I thought I was about to be thrown out of the store. I must have been bright red as I thought I was going to melt. The younger assistant asked if the shoes were suitable and would I wish to purchase them. I said yes that they were exactly what I was looking for. The middle aged lady picked up the shoe box and asked me would I like to leave on my new boots as she could put my old shoes in the box for me. I think I replied that I would love to but that the shop was in the middle of the shopping center and a long way from where I had parked. The younger girl asked how long had I been wearing heels as she could not believe how well I walked in them, particularly 6 inch heels as she was wearing a similar branded pair of 5 inch court shoes. I replied that i have probably been wearing heels for longer that she had but that wearing them out in public was a rare event, given society's attitude to anything different. The other lady, Angela then whispered that she got an unbelievable buss watching me in my high heels. She said tried to get her boyfriend to wear heels, but that he would only do so occasionally at home. She asked if she could accompany me through the shopping center to where I had parked. I was very reluctant but she said that I would be fulfilling a fantasy of hers if I did. The thoughts of fulfilling two fantasies at once was too much to resist, so off we went. It took a few moments for me to relax in my new elevated position but Angela was well named, she was an angel. We strolled around the shopping center for a couple of hours, popping in and out of shops along the way. In another shoe shop Angela insisted that I try on some other heels and took great enjoyment out of selecting the highest possible heels available. She actually purchased a pair of sky high 7 inch heels for herself. We were almost equal height as we eventually finished our walk and reached my car. I felt we were getting some curious looks along the way, but whether they were looking at Angela or I we'll never know.

I only started wearing high heels about 6 years ago. My mum and other family members never wore high heels. Come to think of it non of my female friends wore heels either or I just did not notice them wearing heels. Wearing heels were not part of my life.

I used to wear my mums tights when I was younger but even then I stopped doing that after a while

Sometimes when I stayed at my best mates place and he parents were away I used to sleep on his parents bed in a sleeping bag. I used to wear his mums stocking, garter belt and skirt all night. I did enjoy doing this. I,m just glad I never got caught doing this. Just how would I explain to him about this? We stopped being friends sometime later but that was due to other reasons. More to come later.

How many people have heard this one before? How many people have heard it, disregarded it, and are now paying the price? Two days ago I played indoor soccer with some friends. I'm sore! I'm not muscle sore - I'm joint sore. The soft tissue between your bones, and lining the bottom and sides of your feet take TIME to heal. There is no such thing as "pushing through the pain." There is only "increasing the injury of your injury." The slight discomfort I have in my joints today is a result of using joints which haven't played soccer in about five years. I'm in great shape - muscularly, and cardiovascularly. Bones are doing fine, too!

But my joints simply aren't used to that, and when they tell me don't do it, they mean it!

This doesn't mean I can't enjoy another game of soccer in a week or two - by then, they'll have healed, and stronger, too. In the meantime, it's time for me to lay off, and allow them to heal.

The same goes for your feet!!! If they hurt during the day, switch shoes. If they hurt while walking barefoot on the floor before you even slip on a pair of shoes, make sure the pair you're slipping on will allow them to heal, for three days, minimum, from your previous day's abuse.

By "pushing through the pain," you are only injuring your injury. In the long term, this results in degradation of performance.

    Be nice to your feet!

After a thoroughly frazzling week at work, during which return dates to the states remained up in the air, but during which I managed to knock the crap out of any task that came my way (probably because I was so pissed off - I'm at my most innovative and efficient when I'm royally pissed)...

...I decided to go to the movies!

A quick check online revealed Underworld: Rise of the Lycans was playing at the local theater, and I thought, "What better film could there possibly be to go goth than a dark film about vampires and werewolves?

Particularly at the 10:30 showing. Heh-heh.. MUWHAHAHAHA (cough, sputter)

I came home and took a long, hot shower to chill the nerves. Interesting how that works, huh? Hot shower - chill nerves? It works.

As I would be wearing a single sheath, I skipped my Fruit of the Looms briefs and pulled on a waist-shaping tank as well as a high-waist brief. Next came a simple black t-shirt (it gets cold in the theaters over here!) as well as a pair of opaque black tights. I pulled on my light gray Nike microfleece pants, which are both warm and comfortable, while looking very sleek so long as I'm wearing a tunic or other top which covers the dratted Nike logo over where the left front pocket would be.

I used a soft, silvery-flesh paint on my nails, then the usual touch of mascara, eyeshadow, and other basics, including a dark tone of a natural lip color (for me).

I pulled my hair back, sliding on a very dark wooden hair barrot I'd found from India, before pulling on my knee-high heeld boots.

I pulled on my dress, which is really more of a full-length, full-sleeve high-collar tunic that comes to between my ankles and calves. It left about a foot of the silvery sports pants hanging out, which didn't really look right. Fortunately, I have a nearly identical one that's normal tunic length, to above the knee. Nah! Too much silver. So I went with the full-length one, instead.

Here's the scary part - heeling in public. I know some of you are old hands at it. Good for you! I'm not, especially when the heels are high, and the shape of the toe clearly says they're women's boots.

So, I chickend out there and pulled on a pair of round-toed Sudinis. They're still black leather, and still have heels, but three inches, not four, and a little less svelte.

Last, but not least, my anti-glare shades. These puppies are really cool, and amazingly, only $19. They reflect just about all light in the blue to UV range, while letting most of the rest pass through (which is most of what our eyes use). Thus, they attenuate light only slightly, but have a silvery-blue partial mirror reflection. I can easily wear them while driving at night, and all night long. Since I have somewhat feminine features anyway, with these on, some flowing clothes, my long hair, and a stylish hat, I've been mistaken for a misses.

No hat tonight, but the effect is complete!

Hey everyone, good week so far? Would be good to hear from you guys.

As my shoe collection approaches some semblance of normality, I was thinking about favourite colours.

Fashion-wise, colours for me fall into two categories; neutral and highlight. I normally dress neutrally, and accessorise with highlights.

My favourite neutral colour is black, by far. I have so much in black; skirts, tops, and shoes - lots of them - 60 to be exact.

That said, shoes are normally my weapon of choice when it comes to chosing the highlight colour. For example, one of my favourite getups recently has been a knee-length simple black dress, purple shoes and a purple sash around my waist. The black is such a great canvass and highlights the other colours amazingly.

Which brings me onto my favourite highlight colour - and favourite colour overall - purple.

Given the choice, I'll always try and buy my favourite styles in purple before black. Problem is, it's such a rare colour, particularly on designer brands. I've got just 13 pairs of purple shoes to my name.

Cait is the same as me. She digs black. Her favourite colour though is bright yellow and hot pink. She has has a pair of Louboutin Hypers in both pink and yellow.

I'm not so sure about yellow on its own, but I have to admit the contrast with black is just amazing.

But my favourite shoes? Has to be my plumes; black with purple accents. The best of both worlds.

Hello ladies and gentelmen, are you having a good weekend?

I'm pretty excited about stuff at the moment and have been making some radical changes to my shoe collection.

I went over 200 shoes at Christmas, and have probably bought 20 since, but have been so ruthless, getting rid of out of date styles and shoes I no longer like so I'm back to 190-or-so.

The collection that's taken the biggest battering is my collection of Pleasers, down from nearly 60 to just over 20.

Some of my Pleasers are amazing, but I'm only keeping the ones I think are genuinely beautiful. A lot were just 8" tall lumps of seethrough plastic, so they've gone.

I have also got rid of some of my cheaper shoes. Why have a pair of black Pleaser boots when I have some Louboutin Altbottes? Why have patent heels from Ellie when I have Tributes? You know, stuff like that.

My sister and I have discovered the virtues of expensive footwear so you can expect a lot more of that kinda stuff over the next few months. Cait already has some great shoes that you'll be seeing more of in the near future.

I will update my catalogue of shoes later today so keep your eyes peeled.

    Have a nice weekend.
